The size 6 was a perfect fit. I wore to a memorial service with a cropped sweater and it was just right.

I loved the cut and look of this dress! The contrasting dark blue pleated area of the skirt is a fantastic touch to make it feel more elevated than a plain black dress. I wore it to video an upscale wedding and the material was comfortable all day. My only complaint is that my chest size made the armholes pull to the front and rubbed my underarms a little, but not enough to keep me from wearing it again.

I wanted this to wear to the theater for trip to NYC. It fits the bill, b/c I like to accessorize with scarves, jewelry, etc. My only rub was that it was a bit large for me on top (it's a me problem), which was helped with addition of a cute belt. Everything else was right.

By itself, this dress didn’t look like much. The navy pleated piece blended with the rest of the dress and that is what made it interesting to me. However, with the jacket and accessories, think it came together well.

I loved this dress as it was versatile and very easy to style. I wore it with an oversized flower on my lape it was gorgeous

Flowy material on the bottom, more fitted on the top. Very flattering fit.

I really wanted the 4R but it wasn't available so I took my chances with the 2R and it was wearable (and just slightly tight in the chest area only). The other reviewers mentioning the two zippers really did help! This has an elegant look and while I wore it to a social event, I would have been comfortable wearing this to the office with a cardigan or jacket. Currently not available in any size, but I would definitely rent this one again(ideally in the 4).

Black midi dresses are my go-to and this one was too good to send back. Ended up purchasing. The placement of the seams is very flattering and gives a beautiful silhouette. The navy blue detail on the skirt is subtle and unexpected. I can wear a 2-6 in Vince and the 6 was great for this dress - size down if you like a closer fit.

Beautiful shape with just the right cling and drape the skirt. Understated to dress up or down but with enough texture to be interesting.

I got so many compliments. Wore it for funeral and everyday. It worked great, Size more 2 rather than 0 with XS.

This fit perfectly, was slimming, elegant, conservative yet light for a hot summer day. Unfortunately I had to wear it to two back to back funerals but it was the perfect outfit. Highly considering buying it.

The blue panel is really stunning and the aline hem comes off as very formal. It fits very professionally on the top, not too tight, not revealing. As others have said, it has two zippers to be sure to find the one on the side. I wore it with a thin belt.

This is a really easy dress, comfortable and interesting. I reliably wear a size 4 and I think I could have sized down but it still worked, so if you're on the fence go down.

I added this to the bag as alternative outfit, and it ended up being my favorite pick! Pairs perfectly with a waist belt and black flats. The two-tones and asymmetrical skirt give it a polish artistic look.

It fit perfectly and was flattering and an easy wear. It can be dressed up or down.

Paired with a belt and jacket for a work conference- shed the jacket for the evening events immediately following. Tons of compliments and felt amazing! The fabric is great for year round. Can't wait to rent again for another event. Easy to dress up- probably would have paired with a denim jacket and strapy heels for more casual date night look if the opportunity arose. Size 12 fit perfect- tiny bit loose at the waist so it wasn't cutting in. Great length for tall gals. (5'11, 190lb, 36D).

this may run small vs true to size, but i would consider other reviews/(ers) for that determination. that said, i LOVE this dress. It is simple and timeless, flattering and classy -- EXACTLY what i look for in dresses -- i want to keep it!!!! but the purchase price is beyond me budget....sniff sniff sob!

Wore this out to the ballet, and it was great. A little tight to get over my chest, but once it was on, it fit beautifully. I found the panel to subtly stand out. As someone short, I don't often wear long dresses, but I'll definitely rent this again.
