I wanted a fun dress for a Brazilian wedding and it was perfect! I received lots of compliments. The fit was a little odd in some places. I am not curvy and the hips were tight with the smaller size, but there was extra room in the stomach area in the larger size, which actually made my stomach look bigger, so I opted for the tight-hipped smaller size.

I wore this dress for a wedding in downtown Chicago. Previous reviews said it was too casual for a wedding but I would have to disagree. It was appropriate. Fit was true to size. However on me it was a little loose in the waist and so I had to wear a belt with it. I receive lots of compliments on the dress!

This dress is so sophisticated but still has such a fun side with the purple metallic accents running through. It is slightly narrow at the skirt so I would definitely recommend for curvier women to size up for comfort. Love this dress!

This was my first RTR experience and I loved it! After reading the other reviews and the customer service rep assuring me the dress could be overnighted in time for my event, I went for it. I received so many compliments on my dress from men and women! The dress was an interesting fit, but I agree with going a size bigger as it is tight in the hip; however the size 48 was too big despite having room for my hips. The 46 was just too tight on my hips for me to feel comfortable networking in a room with executives and influencers (had it been a different type of party, I would have worn this size.) Overall, I liked my experience, I loved how I felt in the dress and I will be renting from RTR again!

I actually bought this Versace dress and i couldn't be more happy about my choice. I got size 40 and i wear size 4. i was little big but still fits beautifully. Its made out of firm fabric and doesn't stretch. the hem needs to be fixed as it started to come apart but its a quick fix so no issue for me. I wore this dress for a wedding at the Lake Tahoe and it was perfect. I am hoping to wear it again.

Great classic silhouette with a fun pink metallic touch that keeps it trendy. Wore this for a fancy dinner date night with my husband in San Francisco. It was very comfortable, long enough for me even though I'm 5'11". Got tons of compliments.

I received many compliments on the dress during the course of the evening. It was a tad longer than I expected but it still managed to look stunning stopping just below my knee.

I absolutely loved this fit, but keep in mind th fabric has no give. It gave me a great posture and it was not too glitzy for a dinner on a Friday night.

The 44 was too tight in the torso but the 46 was fine -- actually a bit roomy! This dress is a show-stopper and I received numerous compliments. The length is more modest than depicted in the RTR photograph -- my knees were just covered and I am 5'3" tall.

My size wasn't available so I tried the size up for my date. It was too large and I didn't end up wearing it but it is a striking dress with a lot of versatility. The pink thread is slightly metallic to give it a pop but it isn't off putting. It's still a classic sheath that would work for a lot of different occasions.

I attended a safari themed party. Whereas most were wearing typical animal prints, this dress really stood out. My one gripe: this is a very long dress. I'm tall with long legs and I had to turn the hem up to make it shorter. I wanted it to hit me mid-thigh.

I rented this as a backup for a wedding, the color was great, almost lilac. The fit was off for me. I have hips, the 10 was to small in the hips, the 12 was huge everywhere.

If you want to make a statement without being too provocative, this is a great dress. I am pear/curvy and while the dress fit me fine on top, it was tight in the hips. The day before my event, I called RTR to get a dress that fit, unfortunately the next size was unavailable so I had to order another dress. Luckily RTR made it VERY easy and provided great service to get me a replacement dress in time for my event. Will definitely rent again!!!

I did not end up wearing this. I ordered it as a backup dress because they did not have the other dress in a size up. The size up for this one swallowed me up. I am tall and it looked like I was wearing my mom's dress. Also, it's a very thick fabric, I would say for a fall/winter wedding.

I rented this dress for a wedding and ended up not wearing it because the fit was really off. It was snug in the hips and pretty large in the bust. It also kind of bunched in the torso which was odd. Just not very flattering. Luckily the RTR team was able to send me another dress for my event.

Beautiful dress and would be perfect for a work function; not quite fancy enough for a hot date or cocktail party but fit was beautiful.

This was my back up dress and it ended up being a bit large and looking a little dowdy on. I was also surprised that the pattern detail is a shiny metallic lavendar rather than a silver. My regular dress ended up working so I just didn't wear this one.

this was a back up dress and was just an ok dress. for me the fit was better suited for a more business / professional function and not something I would typically wear out, to a party, etc... fit was large and not fitted to the body (not sure if a smaller size would have made that wow difference). fabric was heavy - metallic sheen and print were cute, just didn't have any form on

I have an average sized bust and the dress just looked too boxy for my liking. It made me look heavy and busty.

I rented this for a summer wedding but it didn't fit...the bust was too big (I am a 36B). I'm not sure I would've worn it anyway though, the fabric was far too heavy for a summer wedding. I wore the backup Vera Wang I rented instead.

I have a petite frame with a pear shaped figure and this dress had the proportions all wrong. It wasn't tightly fitted around my waist, but it was incredibly tight around my hips. There wasn't enough of a size difference in the larger size I ordered to make it fit, in fact, it seemed to only get baggier around my waist. Overall, I should have listened to the other reviewers of this dress- it was not a win for me.

I was really looking foreword to wearing this Versace dress. I ordered a size smaller than I would normally go for because it was the only size available so I was nervous that it would be too small. The dress fit like a glove everywhere except in the midsection and chest. Both areas were way too large. There was an odd excess of fabric in the stomach area right where a tummy pooch would be. This dress would be great for someone 5 months pregnant! The fabric also seemed very worn...which I kind of expected. Otherwise, would have been a beautiful dress and I was disappointed that I couldn't wear it.

I loved the dress. The dress material is beautiful and I so wanted to wear it, but it just didn't fit right. I ordered the size 48 to deal with my ample "birthing hips" and it fit perfectly below the waist. However, I didn't have the assets on top to fill what a size 48 required.

I love the color pop of this design but the fit was very awkward. The material is also heavier, and I didn't find it very elegant. It just didn't work out for me.

Too much dress for a petite person. It wasn't sexy on me, it looked a little old lady.

Based on other reviews, I sized up because I am rather busty. It ended up being FAR too big in the bust and hips. It's a shame because it is a really cute dress and I was looking forward to wearing it.

This dress is a bit long for shorter women, but otherwise true to size. Great material for festive, winter events. Sophisticated and fun (normally difficult to accomplish in one garment).

It was a very nice dress, but I took a chance on a larger size since mine wasn't available and while it fit well in the hips, the top was too large by several inches. I would recommend to women with straight silhouettes.

Beautiful dress! It ran tight in the rear and large in the waist but had a nice fit. It would be difficult to dance in this dress with my hips.
