I loved the open pleat in the back! Others have complained but I think it makes the blazer comfortable and unique. Warm, high quality, perfect for fall in the east coast.

Love the color and print of this double-breasted glen plaid blazer. Runs large, though, which is unusual for Veronica Beard. Recommend ordering your smaller size or down a size.

I had been eyeing this rental for a while and then I saw it on a friend (very tall and thin) and it was so cute I decided to try it. It just didn’t work well for me no matter how I tried to style it- I think the proportions were just a little large for my frame and it read very conservative on me. In true VB fashion, it’s extremely well made, thick plaid wool, you can add one of her dickeys if you have it. It fit well in the shoulders - just a little too long and too much fabric for me.

This is so cute from the front - the coloring and material are great. But the back should have a pleated fold down the center but it doesn’t lay flat giving a really awkward fit.

This jacket is beautiful, and would be pretty close to perfect if it didn’t have the weird puffy part in the back. It wasn’t so terrible that I couldn’t wear it, but even my husband said it looked like some sort of maternity jacket. Do not size up on this one or it will look way too big.

Rented this thinking it was a VB Blazer which is a winner 99% of the time. However, this is some weird type of jacket that looks like maternity wear. This was a total fail.

So good in front-so loose and weird in back

The zipper should be asymmetrical, but it’s centered. The buttons overlap. The back balloons. Beautiful pattern, but the cut wouldn’t flatter people. Even as a maternity blazer, I’d need the extra material in the front, not the back. I’ll be returning this shortly.

I loved this jacket when I saw it online and love just about everything from her. But the slit in the back made it bubble around the hips and was overall just really unattractive. I never wore it.

I wanted to love this, but it was huge. Even if I would have sized down, the cut and style just didn't work for my short frame. Good quality though. I think it would look great on a taller woman. I rented the size 8. Didn't wear.

The blazer has no shape and flares out in the back like someone forgot to taper & shape it. So unflattering. Just couldn’t figure out where or who this would look good on.

Like others have mentioned, there's a weird back detailing unlike other VB blazers. The front looks normal and the back has a little flair. Because of this, I rent a size down. I originally borrowed it from my mom when she rented it (she wasn't a fan) but I fell in love! It seems I'm one of the few fans based on reviews!

I didn't find this to be as weird of a fit as the other reviews. The blazer needs to be the statement piece of what you are styling so I'd recommend just pairing with a simple tee or tank and more tapered jeans.

That being said, I did wear it as a blazer with black pants at a conference. I was on a panel so I was seated in a chair and liked the open double-breasted look. I was hesitant because of the reviews but took the leap and my suspicion was right - it’s a great jacket. I’ve worn it with jeans, pants, and over a dress and gotten compliments on it. It would be great with a skirt. It’s not a fitted blazer so don’t try to style it that way. It puckers out on the back and flairs on the sides and has a lot of buttons. So you have to rock it.

This was just the right amount of "oversized" or "boyfriend" look. I have a petite frame, and sometimes oversized looks can swallow me, but this one struck a good balance. The back has a great v cut / interesting lines. I loved it because it made the jacket slightly more feminine, but could see where others might not like it.

Super flattering and perfect for fall! I styled it similar to the model with brown snakeskin boots - so cute!

I thought this was a blazer until I got to work, and realized it's more of outerwear. Adorable on the weekend just as a coat. Color is great, beautiful cut with interesting back detail. Very flattering, high quality.
