Based on the reviews, I went up two sizes. That was a mistake. This was too big. It worked OK but one size up would’ve been better. I loved the dress though and ended up buying the correct size. It does wrinkle easily, so if that bothers you, just be aware. I may starch the one I purchased a bit just to improve its wrinkle resistance. I wore this to work and it worked great as a summer work look at my fairly casual workplace, but it could also easily transition to dinner or any kind of daytime activity. It’s very versatile and comfortable. I love it!

I'm not a curvy bottom girl. Most skirts/shorts I wear 4 to 6. I had to order an 8 for this to snuggly fit around my hips. The material has zero give. Having said that, once the size is right - it's darling. Easy to dress up or down.

I absolutely adored wearing this dress! A lot of review said it ran small so I sized up to a 2 when typically I am a 0.. I should’ve went with my normal size as it was loose throughout the hips and a little long for my preference, hitting right at the knee.

Slightly tight in the hips but not uncomfortable or unflattering. It’s a stiffer fabric so was great for dinner but prob wouldn’t wear for dancing or something with a lot of moving.

GREAT dress for 4-5hours. First, the fit is great, I sized up for my burdensome bosoms and was still nervous it wouldn’t work. BUT it did! it buttoned over my boobs and didn’t gape and was flattering. I wore it for an out of town workday where i was in and out of appointments and the car. the dress grew with the day, the tie at the waist helped keep the shape. it looked pretty messy by the end of the day.

Obsessed with this dress- fits perfectly and is super flattering in all the places. Has some shape but isn’t too tight, I was very comfortable all day. I found it to be tts, maybe runs just a tad on the small side but I thought it relaxed a bit as I wore it and I will rent a size down (my usual size) next time. The leg opening is indeed a little more narrow but I didn’t find this to be an issue for me at all, even walking, except maybe up the stairs. Will def keep for a while and rent again!

Comfortable fit, just a bit restrictive around the bottom of dress at thigh level given it doesn't stretch. Great for a day outing to Disney!

I have rented a few colors of this dress and each are nice. This one felt a little looser than the others I have tried. Keep in mind I am straight as a board! It did loosen as the day went on and wrinkled quite a bit. Probably wouldn't rent again.

Light wash denim like dress. Can be dressed up or down. Comfortable and true to size. Wrinkles easily.

I'm usually a size 4 in Veronica Beard, but the size 6 fit me perfectly. Soft, light fabric.

I loved this dress - it fit really well, the tie was nice, fabric was soft and not too thick or warm. Perfect for casual or dress up!

No photos of this one but I wore it a few times - more had weather cooperated. The material is so soft and unlike similar VB styles, I felt like there was more give to the bottom for a more normal range of motion in the legs. Wore with cowboy boots and sneakers. Would definitely rent again!

I really liked this dress more than I thought I would. It's soft and light material, long enough to wear to work. Didn't love the story of ruching at the seam which was asymmetric or the tie around the waist, but it was a nice way to mix up the work week. I wore it with black lug sole loafers. I'm usually a 2 or 4 and 4 fit perfect

Really liked this and got lots of compliments, but oh my were the hips tight with no stretch. Glad I sized up. I almost want to go up another size but I think the top would be too loose in that case.

Rented for work dinner event. It was perfect. Normally a size 2 in VB. Rented size 4 bc only size available. Worked out fine. Since this fabric is like a chambray with no stretch. It does wrinkle easily. Had to do a quick steam.

Cute take on a typical denim dress but way too tight around the thighs, couldn’t even wear. Also has a weird zipper on the bottom and doesn’t actually unsnap all the way down the front of the dress

Would work great on an athletic figure but because I have a small chest but larger hips it was like a body con dress on the bottom and getting too loose on the top with having to size up

The opening of the bottom of the dress is tight, making it weird to walk normally. Lovely dress if you’re planning on just standing around but not great for an active day.

The proportions of this dress are all wrong- oversized on top, skin tight on the bottom. Very disappointed, couldn’t wear it.

This dress had so much potential but it is very deceiving! Looks to be made for curvy body type with the rouging detail but it literally has no stretch and runs very small. Couldn’t even fit over my butt. I would order at least 2 sizes up if you’re curvier

So sad. I’ve been dying to try a Veronica Beard shirt dress but now I understand why this one was available! Definitely size up if you don’t have a tiny bum and legs! I could get it on, but I could barely walk, and that wasn’t a good look. Should have taken the reviews more seriously but wanted to try it to badly.

Fits true to size and has the typical Veronica Beard cut, but I didn't love the material.

Would have loved it up and down but bottom of dress too small to fit over hips. I wore it as a shirt with the bottom folded under at my waist- still felt cute- but wish i could have worn as the dress. I usually wear a 6-8 bottoms- rent at your higher size!

This was a bit tight for the skinny girls with curves

This dress ran very small. I love the look of it but it was just too tight. Definitely recommend sizing up.
