I size up a lot in VB because I'm pear shaped and the buttons always pull. This one felt great a few sizes larger than usual, sizing up also helps the length become work appropriate. I personally still wouldn't wear this one without tights because the little fabric lining behind the buttons did not want to stay in place so there is peekaboo potential. Loved it tho, would've worn again if I had a reason.

Usually a 2/4 i sized up to 6 and was pleased with the fit.

I rented this dress for work (it was in the RTR work edit), but I found it was too short to be office appropriate on me. I'm 5'10, so others may not have that issue though. This dress buttons all the way down the front, and I was also concerned about the buttons gapping across the bust at the top. I ending up wearing it for a date night instead and just unbuttoned the top button. The dress was cute, flippy, and fun.

I loved this dress, but it seems it wasn't pressed right and I had a gap between all the buttons I had to pin with safety pins. Very comfortable & the colors were great.

Nice fit - not too tight. I found the clear snaps a few ppl wrote about in their reviews and those did help with any gaps (I think there are only 2-3 total). Good shorter length for petites.

I took the advice of others on here and sized up, normal a 2/4 and wore a 6. It is tight in the waist and because the buttons are elastic, it does pop open slightly, not too annoying though. A little flu terry at the bottom which I loved. Considering buying this one, its a great price and I do love VB!

I sized up based on reviews, I would have usually worn a 4 but went with the 6. I still didn't have confidence that the front buttons would not pop open so I wore a slip underneath. Probably best for someone under 5'9". With my 5'11" height it was borderline too short.

This dress was perfection. Rented it for a wedding shower tea party. Struck the flawless balance between conservative yet flirty. Others had reviewed how short it would be, but I'm only 5'1", so the length was perfect for me! Others had also reviewed the front buttons revealing a little too much, but there are tiny clear interior snaps! So look for those and you won't have that problem. I will definitely rent this dress again.

I usually wear a 10, and when I hear that things run small size up to a 12. After reading the reviews I thought I might try a 14 in this one- but it wasn't available so I took a 16 thinking it would actually probably still look good a bit loose. The 16 fit like a 12. It was a gorgeous dress but makes me horrified for inclusive sizing that is absolutely not inclusive- makes me not like Veronica Beard, I've rented Veronica Beard blazers and they run pretty true to size so really confused about the dress. In short- rent this dress 2 sizes up if you want it properly sized and 3 sizes up if you want it roomy. And if indeed you wear a size bigger than a 12- I am so sorry- this brand thinks you like to feel shamed and fit one leg into their clothing allegedly in your size.

Gorgeous dress, got so many compliments, but runs small and short. I'm 5'6 (with a short torso and long legs though) normally a size 6 and the 10 fit perfectly. My only real complaint is the way the buttons closed (elastic loops rather than button holes in the fabric) they pulled and you could see skin in between on your torso - the skirt had a fabric insert that more or less worked (no underwear peeping through) though a full lining would have been better. Next time I'll wear a slip underneath

Tight in waist like others said which can leave a small gap. I ordered up in size. Fit nicely and was comfortable. Multiple compliments.

I thought this dress was so great but it did feel a bit tight on my midsection. The material is really nice and I received so many compliments! Also, I rented this for a party but wouldn't have felt comfortable in it for work or a more conservative event. I'm 5'10" and it is pretty short.

This dress definitely runs small. I wear between a 6-8 and ordered an 8 because that's all that was available. I probably could have used a 10 as the 8 was a little small in my midsection. Also the RTR pics aren't very accurate in my opinion. The waist is very cinched, which i don't think you can really see from RTRs pics. I wanted to wear this to work but the cinching makes it too short for the office so i wore it out instead.

Button front opens a bit. May want a slip underneath for modesty.

This dress was adorable. I am very buxom and it would just not work in the bust department. I would recommend going 2 sizes up for a nice clean fit with all the buttons. This dress is a little short, so if you're over 5'6 this will be too short for most offices.

The dress doesn't have a lot of give because it buttons down the front and you don't want the buttons pulling apart.

Loved this dress! So silky and light weight, comfortable for warmer weather. I tend to be between a 16-18, with other reviews saying this ran small I opted for the 18 which fit perfectly. It was a nice length (not as short as the pictures might have depicted)

It does run a little small. The buttons are lovely. The quality is amazing. It is a tiny bit short, but the rest is pretty modest, so it didn't matter

I wore with black leggings and flats to work, a bit tight but I wore it anyhow, maybe size up.

Now that I know my size (needed a 6, normally wear a 4) I will def rent more of this designer. Buttons in center kept opening a little, but was easy to fix. Got a ton of compliments!

I ordered a 16 and an 18 and there was a HUGE difference between the two sizes. The 16 was very tight and short. The 18 was lose and hit slightly above the knee. The dress cut is cute and the long sleeves were perfect for an outdoor dinner (70°).

I wore this at a rooftop party, it was very cute and feminine. Great fabric and flows. Nice pattern.

Beautiful dress that I was really excited to wear, but it definitely runs small. The real issue is the gaps between the loophole buttons that go all the way down... it stretched tight across my hips and you could see directly through the gaps between the buttons. Maybe the right slip would've worked okay but I didn't have. I hope to try a bigger size another time! I typically wear a 4/6 and snagged an 8... I think a 10 would've been better.
