Per the reviews I sized up from a 6 to 8 and they fit me perfectly (I’m pear shaped so this was a relief)! Wore these to a conference with the matching vest and it got so many compliments!

So freaking cute! But cut/fit was a little frumpy. I could have worn a 4. Only other complaint is lining peaks out as they stretch.

Overall these shorts are really comfortable but the lining was longer than the shorts themselves, so I ended up needing to fold them up. Wore with a cute RTR top. Received lots of compliments!

If you’re tall -beware. It was hard to sit down in these despite them looking like they fit well in the photo. Too small of an inseam for tall girls

The perfect short for transitioning from summer to fall. The one caveat is that the lining falls out from beneath the shorts in the back.

A bit too tight in the hips, but I have large ones for my size. The lining does poke out from the bottom, but probably wouldn't have been a deal breaker for me if they hadn't been too small.

I love the idea of these shorts. They want to work. They mean well. The lining is visible, the waist is so small. To be fair, my waist is so big. My lower abdomen did not appreciate being put on display as it was in these shorts. Back to cross fit for me!!

I definitely should have rented an 8. At the time I was about 29" waist and 40" hips, the 10 shorts were too big in the waist.

Sadly these were a miss. The shorts are beautiful but the lining is about an inch longer than the shorts. Perhaps I got a defective pair, but wearing them was completely not an option because of how the lining fell out below the actual shorts. As others commented, because they are twill and very thick, they aren't necessarily flattering. Per reviews I sized up to a 6 (usually a 4) which was slightly large in the waist but pulled across the pockets/hips. Beautiful shorts but for multiple reasons they just were not wearable.

Love this designer but these were a fail. Runs very small (I even sized up) and the fabric is so thick it adds 15 lbs around the waist. Good in theory but not in execution.
