Cute, form-fitting, forgiving — just mind the gap- it ain’t moving.

Cut beautifully IF you have the right body-type. I can see how flattering this would be on someone with a less curve / smaller hips / half-full rear-end. If I moved a snap (or more) released. It was smokin’ on my sister (size 4), but I don’t have pics. She wore to church but put a cardigan on top for a more conservative look (probably because it was SO hot on her!) Wish I had gone up a size (or more) but not sure the cut around the hips would be any better, even in a larger size. 5’2” 150 lbs. Mid40s. Unfit. A little curvy & a little round. Longer torso. Shorter legs.

I’m not sure who this would fit. I rented it because I have really narrow hips and after reading the reviews I thought it would fit me. I wear a size 23 jeans and I couldn’t keep the bottom buttons done.

My boyfriend kindly explained that this dress is made for men - no hips and broad shoulders - definitely size up. Other than that I love it, will try it in a 2 (which I very rarely wear on RTR) .

I needed to order one size up because the snap buttons inside kept opening up. My waist line got too big this winter. I loved the dress but wish I didn't have to worry about it opening.

Ruching in all the right places slims somehow while letting you feel comfortable that you don't need to suck it in all day.

I previously tried this dress on in a store. I bought it in a couple sizes and I was in between. I did return because I couldn't justify the price for an ok fit. I rented in the size 4. It felt big. I THINK I could've worn a 2. But not positive. I wore with a belt and it was fine. Sorry for the pic. I was trying to pick my next bag.

So cute, great quality! They've sewn little clear buttons in-between the white buttons so the dress closes up well. Really loved the drop waist on this dress and I typically don't go for that style. Wore a size 6 and fit like a glove, even with 34DD, buttons still closed around chest with no problem.

I have a similar Veronica Beard dress so was excited to rent this one. While cute, the lower buttons popped several times throughout the day with normal movements so I had to safety pin to avoid any major wardrobe malfunctions. Also the fit and flair bottom blows up easily in the breeze so walking outside meant I was constantly holding down the skirt.

I rented this for a turning blue ceremony and it fit like a glove with no stretch. This is fine when standing but when you sit the big buttons stay but the tiny clear ones come unbuttoned easily.

I am covering up where I couldn't button at the bottom of the dress. There is no stretch so I would suggest ordering a size up if you have a big butt like me!

I love a great day dress that goes with sneakers or sandals.. the fit, length any style is fantastic. She’s a beauty! I know others have fut issues with VB but this was perfect for me, looks great with or without a belt. Loved it so much, I bought it.

Wanted to wear this to work - it was very slim through the hips. Ordered a 10 - but I need a 12 or even 14.

I would size up but definitely rent this dress. It is very flattering and just so cute.

Very pretty dress, but like others, I couldn't get the skirt to button as it was so tight. I wear a size 10/12 these days and am very busty. I ordered a size 12 and it fit great on top, but I couldn't get the skirt to button. I think a size 14 might do the trick.

I enjoyed wearing this dress. I am regularly a size 4 and ordered that initially, and the bottom was too tight. I swapped for a 6, which fit just right, and I ended up buying it.

I usually wear a 0-2 in Veronica beard. This was way too tight in hips. Otherwise fabric and style were great but I could not wear.

Order a size up! I am consistently a size 2 and should have gotten a size 4. The hips area is very tight with the buttons.

Cute dress, but runs extremely small. I normally wear a size 2. this dress runs so small, I ordered it in a size 6 and it still it wouldn’t button in the front around the hip area.

I'm 5'5" and a 6 is the biggest size I've ever had to rent in anything and this was like a child's size on me. I couldn't finish buttoning it and it was so short. Size way up. I may try again.

I had the same experience as other reviewers--everything fit through the top half of the body but I couldn't close the bottom buttons. There's no stretch in the fabric, so absolutely no give if you've got curvy hips or thighs. Could have been really cute, as the top half looked great, so I was disappointed.

As others have mentioned, this is very very fitted in the hip / butt area. The top fit perfectly and looked really cute, but i couldnt wear it as the buttons were gaping. Avoid if you are wide hipped / larger in the butt, or at least size up.

I LOVE this dress in theory. It is so cute. But it is insanely tight through the hips, even when ordering up a size. I could get it closed, but the little snaps kept popping open. I had to shuffle around to keep it closed, ha! Next size up would have been way too big in the top, so no good solution.

Not my size 12 but maybe your size 12!

I had the same issues as many others which was the top portion fit but there was puckering and pulling on the buttons for where the hips fit on the dress. The issue is due to buttons AND snaps fastening the dress so snaps don't hold the pull appropriately. If I sized up the top portion would not be flattering. I don't recommend this dress unless you're larger on the top than the bottom.
