This dress manages to get lots of attention without being loud. Very "ladylike". Perfect shade of navy. Dress is heavy. Clearly quality material. Paired with a nave blue cardigan and ballet flats. This one is so "me". Considering purchase. Adding to my list "rotating closet"

This dress has early 2000's Come de Garçon vibes, so I paired with my leather jacket & oxfords to complete the look. The multi layers and textures of the skirt were my favorite thing about this dress. It was a bit chilly so I also layered a UNIQLO heat tech turtleneck under.

I love the high quality of this dress. The fabric is heavy, but it makes its structure and beauty. Two layered skirts are well constructed.

This is a gorgeous dress. I wore with a tweed short jacket for work, and it was perfect. It could easily be dressed up. It's super elegant and understated.

I was very excited to try on this dress as soon as it arrived. The fabric and construction is extremely high quality - had it fit, I would have multiple opportunities to wear over the next few weeks (work, dinner out, gallery preview, etc.)...unfortunately, it runs very large in the mid-section, resulting in an extremely dowdy/unflattering fit.

Even for the dropped waste style the middle was very loose. I had a good extra 5 inches at the waste so it'd be great for maternity wear. BUT the back of the bottom is semi-shear. There's this satin apron in front that covers the semi shear black layer, but in the back it's nothing but the under layer. So if wearing in the daytime or to more conservative events wear a slip.

The front of this dress is beautiful and very high quality. The back half of the skirt is completely sheer. Plan to wear a black slip if you rent this dress.

This dress runs so large. I am a 4/6 and went with the 6. I honestly think I may have been ok with the 2. It's out of stock now but will try 2 or 4 at a later date. It's such a nice dress with heavy fabric but shapeless FYI. I want to see what a proper size would look like.

From the waist below in the back, the dress is sheer! Wear a slip if you are going to work.
