Loved this coat and considered buying it. It's like a giant down sleeping bag wrapped around your body. I live in a cold, snowy climate, and it fits over everything. I got more compliments on this coat than anything I've ever rented. It's not the most attractive, slimming fit, but I didn't care. Would definitely recommend sizing down multiple sizes. If I were to buy, I'd probably get the XXS.

Love the coat and I got a lot of compliments. It does run a bit large. The snap around the bottom kept coming unsnapped. I just wish it came in another color.

While I like the ability to adjust the size, the double layers across the midsection created a lot of bulk and warmth where I need it least.

Definitely. I’ve stalked this coat since I first saw it on Universal Standard’s site ages ago. I think I rented it once here, too. Then I forgot about it. Until now. Face-framing collar. Slightly asymmetrical hem: magical finger-tipped length at the sides. Low maintenance. Pretty.

I am usually a size 10, but im 18 weeks pregnant with a small bump. I got the XS and its great. Theres plenty of room in the hips/belly and its very cute.

I received lots of compliments on this jacket. It's super comfy, warm, and I especially liked the neckline. Would order a smaller size next time.

I actually like this coat - it's insanely large (I got an XS and wear a 8/10 usually) but it is so comfy I think I will still wear it. It's like wrapping yourself in a sleeping bag. I can't imagine this being flattering on anyone but if you want warmth and coziness and don't care about any semblance of a figure - this is your coat! Size down like three sizes. XS would prob be good for a 12/14.

I absolutely adore this coat and giving it back was kind of painful. I kept it for...four or five months? The love is real. The problem is I've been losing a lot of weight and so by the end the 22/24 was quite roomy on me so it doesn't make sense to purchase, sadly. But it's beautiful and I love the matte black and ties - I got lots of compliments on this one, people would stop me on the street and ask where this coat is from. The newer iteration has zippers to keep the wind out (which was never really a problem for me) and shinier fabric, which I don't particularly care for, so I hope I can find the original in a smaller size and matte black somewhere. Absolutely worth it!

It fits well but the snap can be irritating around the neck. It pops open from time to time.

A gorgeous coat that kept me warm all winter. The high neck was perfect for me because I don't like scarves. Pockets were a little misplaced

Adorable winter coat. I wouldnt suggest for super cold because of the length, but it did well in NYC 35 deg weather. The jacket runs a little shorter than I would like, I wish the front was a tad longer. I love the shape, but the pick up in the front just goes a little too high. If you are self-conscious about your thigh area, this isn't for you.

This coat is so comfy. I'm 5'4" and a 34b. I got the xs which was big on me but i wore it anyway. I live in the northeast and this coat is keeping me warm on my commute to work. It's super cozy. I might get it again but size down.

Really liked this jacket but it was damaged on arrival! Didn't wear due to the whole in the jacket. Usually wear an XL or XXL in tops and this coat was a M and it was roomy.

The pockets were placed too far back in the design making the jacket feel small, even though it fit perfectly. If you're not a hands-in-your-pockets person and you have an outdoor event or live in a frozen tundra like me, this is a great option.

Great quality coat. The reviews said it ran large but I'm a 16-18 so I sized down and I felt like I should have gotten the M (18-20). It was so warm and perfect for a winter trip!

Really interesting cut for a puffer-fashion forward. I ordered the XS and it was still big. VERY WARM so good for cold climates in winter.

I love Universal Standard and am so excited to be able to rent them from RTR. This puffer isn't basic with its angled fit, collar, and tied bow, which is very cool and makes it a win in my book. However, it just wasn't fitted enough for a puffer coat. I'm usually a size 18 so I wear a medium and I am a tall apple/top heavy. Even tied tight it was too loose on me and unflattering. I would try a small, but then the sleeves would be too short.

I'm always on the verge of plus. I normally wear a size 12 and this was just too large. It swallowed me up, but was a very cool silhouette!

I'm rather tall 5-11" so sleeves were a little shorter than I would have liked. After a call to customer service they shipped me another coat the very next day

This coat makes no sense from the lack of a zipper to it's strange shape that makes the person wearing it look like a football. It's warm though -- so there's that.

This coat was uncomfortable and I will probably need to size up if I order it again.

I was super interested in this garment but it just made me look really big. Not right for my body. It did seem very cozy and comfy.

It fit...well weirdly. In theory it was amazing, super cute and fun but once you actually put it on it was too much jacket and weird with all the buttons and what not. I guess I'd just rather a regular jacket I guess. The collar is really big and it's runs smaller around the arms.
