I wore this to the Vatican in Rome and extremely appropriate and very comfortable. I wore a coat over it so it got a bit wrinkled but still worked:)

Loved this dress! I wore it to the opera on a trip to Australia. The fit was great - I went braless due to the more bustier fit of the top. The sleeves are so fun. I would keep this dress I loved it so much.

I do not want to return this, it is the perfect dress that would be in style in your closet forever. Wearable material, great details and just a high quality black dress that is great for casual wear or to dress up for an occasion. I’ll rent anything from Ulla Johnson but this one is an instant classic.

Runs TTS to slightly large. If you have a smaller bust, size down. The sleeves, square neckline & ruched bust are the focus. Wore it with the Soko Dash Hinge Wrap Choker, also RTR. Pockets are always a welcome addition.

I loved the fit of this dress! There is a lot of volume in the skirt and shoulders which made it feel a little dressier, but I think you could also wear it with sneakers for daytime and make it work. Fit TTS, but might size up if you’re working with a larger chest!

This dress is a gem. I’m usually a 6 but went with a 4 since it was the only size available but it fit well! A 6 would have given me a bit more room in the chest but the 4 was extremely flattering. I love the puff-sleeves and the fabric isn’t heavy or thick but is still high quality.

Fun piece, but not as easy to style as expected! The bodice has no stretch— the 4 was snug on a 32D bust and fit lower on my petite frame than I found comfortable. Paired with a vintage gold vest for coverage and contrast. Length is good for petite 5’3”.

There’s definitely a lot of fabric to this, but still order your true size as the bust is fitted. If you have a large chest you may want to size up, even. Otherwise it was a great rental that was fun to twirl in. I also didn’t find the fabric to be especially loud during movement. Follow me on IG for more reviews: @annelw

I loved this dress, wore it on my birthday, to work and a few other times. Ulla runs big so I recommend sizing down if you’re between sizes, I will be sizing down to a 2 on the next rent. I’m petite so this came to my ankles as a maxi length.

This is a great dress, comfortable and flattering and still interesting. I would buy it if it was just a little bit less. It fits TTS. Will rent again!

Fitted in the right places so is chic, not tent like. So many compliments on an otherwise basic black dress.

Perfect black dress. Color is rich and vibrant. Runs true to size. Zipper was a little difficult on the dress I received.

Great dress and super comfortable. Great for fall with boots and has pockets.

If well endowed up top, be prepared for lots of cleavage. Otherwise, compliments galore!

Just too much material. And tight in the chest area couldn’t wear it.

I was soooo excited about this one and wanted to wear it so badly but it was huge. I donmt even know if sizing down would help because there is so much material in the mid section. However it is beautiful so I may try sizing down 2 sizes in the future and try it again
