I love this LBD! I have worn it over and over for work as I travel. Thinking of buying this one.

Thick great flattering dress. I'm usually a 4 and got a 6 and it fit fine, but it was still a little snug in the shoulders.

Great length, skirt cut and fit. Could have done without the pockets - they added a little extra bulk - but the front ruffle/button details are pretty and fabric is quality. Needed an underlay as the top was just slightly too fitted to avoid side peek through (the buttons are real).

Runs a bit small, so I sized up and it was perfect. Absolutely gorgeous and extremely flattering. One of my favorite rentals.

I really liked this dress except for the pockets which made my stomach stick out. The ruffle detailing is whimsical and makes this dress stand out. The shape of the dress is flattering otherwise. I would have given it 5 stars if there were no pockets. Good for pear shape like mine.

Received this right at the start of the COVID19 outbreak and was so thankful for the pockets as a visual cue that I wasn't shaking hands. Fit absolutely perfectly and made me feel professional but fun. Appropriate for fall/winter - heavy material

This is a really nice work dress that you could probably wear all the time- it fits really well and is flattering, preppy, cute- it's kind of plain Jane but just a great work LBD. I would probably even consider buying it. It's nothing special or flashy but I loved it! Pics don't do it justice. Good material, well made like most Tory items.

Tory always has a way of making a simple dress look amazing. This dress did not fall short of the elegant style that Tory brings. The dress itself really has no stretch but I made it work. Pair it along with some bootie or heals and you'll be sure to turn heads at the office. #rtrlewks

Fit: slightly small. I can wear a 6/8 and definitely need an 8 in this. Also I'd say fits best with hour glass figure since the smallest part is just below the ribs. Also the sleeves are snug. Style: dark navy. heavy wool. Lined. Classic styling. Working buttons. All in all, I love this dress. I'm considering buying at the end of my month.

This is super cute and tailored. A bit tight across the shoulders and arms, but I'm pretty broad. Highly recommend!

This is a perfect work dress. It is large in the waist, which is why I added a belt. The shoulders fit perfectly and no gaping across the back of the neck. The hem (where the ruffle starts) hits just above my knee so my knees are covered by the ruffle. The fabric is a little scratchy on my chest but not a dealbreaker. Because this is made with a heavier fabric, I think it will be a perfect cold-weather option with tights.

I got so many compliments on this dress! It's great for work because it's conservative, yet fitted enough to make you feel good. The only problem area was the front pocket - it got scrunched and wrinkled every time I sat down. I just had to straighten myself out but will need to iron for next time.

Really nice fabric and fit. I wasn't sure how the ruffles would look since I'm on the petite side but they were cute and not overpowering at all. I would've been more comfortable in a 6 but the 4 was okay. Only complaint was the front pocket - pockets are nice, but this one was almost designed to create a tummy pooch whether there really is one or not! Would rent again in the larger size.

This dress is more versatile than I thought. Wore with a gray blazer to a board meeting with heels and then wore with dressy sandals for the afternoon in the office. For a black dress it has lots of nice details and the construction is really thick and feels good. I also didn't realize it has pockets, which is always a fantastic surprise.

Cute combination of cute (frills) and work appropriate (sleeves, length, high cut). Looks better on, and the black gives it a serious look yet the frills make it playful. Love it.

I wore this for a work presentation I am 5'9" and the length was absolutely perfect. It is a thicker fabric and even though there are sleeves you can absolutely reach your arms over your head. Great professional dress!

Buttons were much cooler than the pictures did justice. Ruffle at the skirt bottom gave the conservative top a feminine flare. I'm 5'10 and the length was still appropriate for work.

Size up to fit the bottom. 6 stars-so many compliments at work. The buttons down front also have a little ruffle-playful but not overly cutesy. She skirt has a little flare too which also makes it fun. The cut is figure skimming and even though looks A-line on model I'd say almost closer to pencil proportions, so it was snug across hips. Hi quality, thick material (?wool) so virtually no stretch. There were some tears in the seams from where it was probably over stretched but still wearable. Even though modest and covered up, the slim cut and flirty details keep it feminine. Nice balance of structured, interesting with a little whimsy.

Not a lot of arm mobility

Fit like a glove on my body type--broad shouldered and busty. Nice, heavy woolen fabric and fully lined. Perfect for fall or winter. Sizing is in line with other dresses of the brand. Hit just at the knee on me (5'3). Wrinkles after sitting all day at work, but generally not too bad.

Everything about this dress was perfect with the exception of the material. It's a little bit on the itchy side but asides from that, the fit, the style, the length is perfect for work. It's just enough sassy but extra classy.

I personally didn't love the flare at the bottom, but it was still a cute dress. True to size and comfortable.

Runs a little small. Felt a little claustrophobic around the neck. There are two pockets in the front. Cute fit, but probably wouldn't rent again.

Very flattering dress; the only odd issue is the kangaroo-type pouch pockets in front can make you look like you have a baby bump!

I loved this dress. Unfortunately due to the fit I didn't end up wearing it. Loved it from the front but not so flattering from the side for my body type. For those a bit more confident in the tighter fit, it's a show stopper.

Great staple piece that would be a good one to have in your wardrobe. It does run small and I'm so glad that based on reviews I went up one size. The material is thick without much stretch. The front pocket is nice, but I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because it does poof out a bit and gives even a flat stomach a bit of a bulge, and no one needs that!

I wore this dress to work. The ruffles and buttons are cute, but not in a childish way. I'm usually a 4 but I wear a 2 in Tory Birch. Material does not have much stretch though, so be careful about sizing down. Only 3 stars because the fabric wrinkles and was kind of itchy.

I am an attorney and have to dress fairly conservatively for work. This dress was perfect. Loved the weight of the fabric. The ruffle on the skirt and the silver buttons give the dress a bit of flair. Will definitely rent this again.

This dress is adorable! The fabric is luxe and it feels well-made. I loved the pockets but I can see where others might not like the way they pop out and add weight to your front.

Perfect dress for work. Form fitting. Not too short. I like the pockets. although nothing substantial can fit in them.
