The thick knit was great for this fall season. It was flattering and not clingy yet still well structured. The bottom detail set it apart from any dress I have ever worn. It's a separate piece attached through the eyelets. More Navy but looked black on. Loves this dress.

Dressed it down under a bomber jacket for a weekend stroll around the park. I liked that the dress was quite structured - if it weren't for pandemic times I could easily see myself wearing this to the office or dressing it up further to an event

The sleeve length was such a nice surprise! I have long arms and I was able to not have to push the sleeves up to compensate for them falling short. I loved the stuffy fabric. My favorite detail was the grommets. I felt conservative and no one looked too closely at the grommet detail to consider it too sexy, but I sure felt the sass!

Great dress with a strong heavy knit that is perfect for colder weather. I went back and forth trying to decide if it was black or blue, but final consensus was a very dark blue. Beautiful dress with nice detail. I am likely to rent again!

Thick material, perfect for the winter, very comfortable to wear. Sleeves are a bit tight for me but otherwise it fits perfectly.

This dress is a really nice thick fabric with good stretch. It's very comfortable. I am usually between a size 8 and 10, and the medium was a bit loose in the mid section for me but arms fit pretty snug, so I would recommend sizing down if you're between sizes. The fit in this was a bit boxy, making it a little more casual (which works well at my work place). The dress is a dark navy, not black as it may appear in pics. Overall a great every day dress!

Loved this dress and wore a couple of times - once for work and another for a family party. Nice, warm material. One note: if you are traveling on an airplane, prepare yourself for a search because of the grommets on the bottom if you are going to be in a rush! Could not figure out what set off the TSA, but that was it! Would still rent again!

I rented this dress for a night out in NY during the winter. This dress was so comfy and warm. I'm and 8 and the M fit great. It is a very heavy sweater dress. I liked it so much when I got it that i wore it to church and to a family dinner days before our city date. Very versatile. Will definitely rent again.

Simple, comfortable and a classy look. Runs a bit large the sleeves were long so I had role them up. However very comfy and warm - good for a winter day.

This dress is all about the legs. The waist is not fitted and there is room to move (and slouch if you have to spend the day at a desk and want to just not think about what you're wearing). For a long-waisted (or busty) 5ft 8in person, you want to make sure you've got coverage under the dress on the bottom half. The interesting detail about the dress is the bottom panel, which is a separate panel held onto the dress with sturdy brushed-finish gold grommets and lacing. As you move around, there's a little intriguing peekaboo. So when I lift my arms, the grommets slide up several inches and potential show booty/crotch along that line of grommets. Tights or leggings are a good call, or maybe some black granny panties or boyshorts if you want bare legs. It's conservatively cut except for that racy grommet detailing.

I thought this dress was going to be black but it's navy. Either way, loved it and wish I came in all colors. Super comfortable, soft, thick sweater dress material. Not super firm fitting and true to size. Rent it for work!

This is a an awesome sweater dress. I just wish I had gone with my true size. The XL is big... like size 16 big. (For reference - I'm a 12.) I belted it to make up for that and it worked for the day. The material is a gorgeous weight that would hug curves perfectly. I don't think this would pill up either. It seems very high-end. So advice - Stick to true size or even size down one.

The fabric is a very nice quality. And the detailing near hem is nice. I deducted a couple stars because it doesn't have much shape. I felt kind of blah in it. If you would prefer the fit to be form flattering I'd suggest sizing down.

Comfortable enough but the dress is very straight so it was not fitted at my waist and was a bit tight on my hips/rear, so not the most flattering on me. Also: this dress is dark navy, not black.

I originally ordered this in a Small (usually a 4), but it was huge so I got an XS. The XS still seemed a bit big up too, but it clung in the hips. My boss (another RTR unlimited subscriber) complimented me on the dress. She particularly liked the detailing on the skirt. And in case you missed the other reviews....this dress is navy, not black.

I liked the cut, material, details and color. It was pretty, but classic and professional. Short enough to feel dressy but conservative enough for work. I wore with black tights.

Not perfect but pretty close. Took a little adjusting during the day to keep it hanging right. In general easy to wear and comfortable. Always drew attention.

At first thought this would be too boxy, but I ended up liking it a lot. Nice thick material and wearable even in NYC winter weather. It looks black in the picture online but was more of a navy color in person.

I've rented this twice and loved it both times. The wool is not remotely scratchy, and so warm in my chilly office. Looks great with boots and gold accessories. Has that ease of looking good without a lot of fuss. Skims the mummy tummy but still hangs nicely on my straight & narrow frame. Great work dress!

I wore this dress all day. It was very comfortable and fit perfectly. Wore with tights and booties. Fabric is a little heavy and I can't imagine wearing on a warm day.
