I actually wore both sizes of this dress since the dress came early. I wore it to work with a sweater and flats so made it a little more casual. And then I wore it on the weekend with heels and no sweater. I received so many compliments and it was super comfy to wear to a bridal shower. I love the design of the dress and simple yet elegant!

I wore this dress for my partners work party at a fancy hotel. The dress was knee length and black but had s great asymmetrical hem and design. It was the perfect combination. I wore the 2 because the fit was better around the waist and bust but if you have a B cup or larger, your regular size will fit fine.

Perfect dress for a night on the town. I wanted a dress that was mature but modern and didn't look clubby. The lining was a bit snug on my hips but it didn't bother me too much. The fabric is gorgeous! All in all I loved this dress.

I was a bit worried about getting this dress since there were no other pictures of girls wearing it but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The dress is absolutely gorgeous and well made. The pleating on the bottom half is even more detailed in person which made the simple style seem more luxurious. It was comfortable to wear all night at my company's holiday party and more than appropriate for the occasion. Great find!

This dress runs slightly large. I am generally a 12, but sometimes fall between sizes. Both of these sizes fit in this dress, but the 10 was much more flattering on, and not so tight that it was uncomfortable. This dress is very flattering, but also classy. The v neck is the perfect length, not too low, but not too high. The skirt is very flowy and beautiful. I love the pleating pattern. I got a ton of compliments on this seemingly simply dress all night. I paired it with a sparkly green necklace and green art deco style heels.

This is a beautiful dress and looks even nicer in person--the top layer of the skirt is a pretty shimmery fabric. It also photographs very well. I paired the dress with a black and gold belt and some simple but elegant jewelry. I didn't order this as my primary dress so didn't get two sizes; I have a feeling the next size up would have been too big in the top area, though. I'm curvy, so found the skirt underlayer to be a little tight, and I had to tape the back of it to avoid gaps.

I'm regularly a 10, tried the 8 and 10. I have a large bust so the 8 was too tight there. 10 was comfortable. Fabric is nice, good quality. Would recommend!

I wore this to a conservative event. Sorry for the silly photo, it is the best one I had of the full dress. I found that both the 8 and 10 fit but I was far more comfortable in the 10. Great wedding dress, pairs with just about everything. Perfect if you like to dance! The dress was a little snug for someone on the 8/10 size line but as the 10 was unavailable, the 8 worked just fine. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

I am a size 4 on top and 6 or 8 on bottom, and size 4 fit perfectly. The skirt looks different from the picture. It is not asymmetrical, and it's a dark, gunmetal gray with a slight shimmer.

It is true to size. The top fits just right for slightly larger chested women. The fabric has no give so consider going a size up if you like it looser. The bottom is flows and fun the way it is cut. I wore this to a upscale wedding and it was perfect without having to wear a gown. It hides and belly bloat under the fabric. The waist cuts you just above the stomach so it is not constricting if you plan to eat.

I loved this dress. Not only was it cute, but it was VERY comfortable. I loved that it could be more with normal undergarments. As a curvy girl, it fit just perfectly.

I felt like an old Hollywood star in this dress. Reminded me of a "Dancing with the Stars" or "Dirty Dancing" ensemble. I've never felt more elegant and sexy all at once. I wore this to an evening work even. No brad was needed, top is thick enough to hide behind. The waist sat high which I found to be very flattering. I loved the dress, it was unique and beautiful. Very flattering fit, I felt a bit sexy, but very work appropriate. I dressed it up with a large necklace and nude pumps and received many compliments. I love that the waist fit perfect, and the dress is a forgiving design so I could still eat and enjoy my dinner :) Would be very pretty for dancing too!

I'm pear-shaped, so top is always a size smaller than bottom, no matter my weight. As expected, the 6 fit perfectly bc of the A-line, flowy skirt (I typically wear an 8 for bottoms). Dress is true to photos, very pretty. Top part is a thicker material than I expected, just FYI. I wore it with a belt to further accent the shape of the dress -- I think that's a must for this, just ties the outfit together.

I normally wear a 0, but had to wear the 2 because they were out of 0s in this dress. The 2 was still very fitting and comfortable. Order your true size, if you can.

The pic isn't very helpful because I'm holding the best accessory (my 5wk old son). I needed a dress for my cousin-in-law's cocktail attire, NY city wedding. I was almost 5 weeks postpartum and didn't want to buy a dress I likely wouldn't wear again. I'm typically a size 12 and still have about 20lbs of my post-partum weight on me. The dress was a little snug on the chest because I am breastfeeding, but overall it fit really well. It accentuated my waist line (which I still have, despite the postpartum weight) and was flowy enough to hid the "jiggly" bits below my waist. I felt very comfortable and sexy in it.

The 4 fit perfectly and was flattering. The waist is low enough (even for someone with a long torso like me) that it hit the right spot and high enough that I wasn't worried about how much I ate. I wore a regular bra and never had to worry about it. The skirt moves beautifully and shimmers in the light; the only downside for the 4 was that the pleats were completely flattened out and you could barely tell they were there. The pleats are what make this dress interesting, so that was a disappointment. As the top has no stretch and fit me (34A) with almost no room to spare, anyone with a larger bust might not be as comfortable. Overall, I would recommend the dress.

The dress is much darker than in the picture online, but it's still a great dress. It was very comfortable and easy to move in. I received compliments all night!

This dress really fits true to size and looks just like it does in the pic. I'm 5'9" and it hit right at the knee which was perfect for me. There is no stretch in the top at all so just be forewarned if you are busty.

I loved this dress, and got several compliments on it. It was a little longer than I was expecting, and hit me below the knee. It also was very tight in the chest, and I'm not particularly large chested, at at C-cup. I think it ran pretty true to size--I ordered an eight, and should have ordered a 10, my usual size. I had plans for weight loss before the event that didn't happen! Haha! But I could squeeze into the 8 anyway, and though tight, it still worked. Overall, I would recommend this dress.

I ordered a 12 and 14. The 14 would have fit better. RTR is fabulous! My backup size wasn't available at the last minute so the let me pick another dress! Excellent service! Will definitely be renting again for wedding season.

I rented this as a back up in case the Jasmine rainwater dress didn't fit. This one is pretty and fits well but the Halston Heritage dress hit it OUT OF THE PARK. So - I didn't end up wearing this but I recommend it!

Great dress that is very flattering, ended up going with another edgier option but wished I had a second event to wear this to! Fitted from shoulders to waist - I have broad shoulders and it fit just right for me.
