I really loved this dress. I wore it to a cocktail-style gala for my son's school and it was perfect. The lace made it kind of sexy without being over the top. It was also super comfortable. I'm 5'9" and about 135 lbs and the size 4 was a perfect fit. I would defintely rent this dress again.

I rented this dress as my back up but actually liked it more once they arrived. According to other reviews, it does run large so I opted for a size 4 instead of my normal 6. I think the fit was pretty good and the dress was gorgeous. However, if you are like me and have the post c section "mom pooch", this dress might not be for you. I included a picture of how it looked from the side, which made it look like I was still pregnant. Straight on, you really can't see any tummy and it looks fabulous. If you wear spanx with it, it does look significantly better. I was planning to use this as my main dress with spanx but then noticed a very strong, not so nice odor from the dress so decided to use the other. I would consider renting one more time hoping it would come odor free because it was very pretty and comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful dress. Wore this for a winter wedding out of town. The fabric is thick enough to feel slimming and expensive. I'm relatively curvy - always worried about how dresses will fit my thighs - but this fit was accentuating without being tight. The pics from this event are some of my favs. Would 100% rent again!

The dress fit great, it wasn't too tight so it's very flattering. I felt great in this dress all night. I wore it with black tights but that's also because it was January in Illinois. It could look great any way you wanna wear it. Would highly recommend

I rented this dress for a cocktail style wedding. The dress fit true to size. It was comfortable and fit really well. My husband thought it was one of the better looking/fitting dresses that I have worn to an event. I received my first comment on the dress upon getting out of the car. My first Rent the Runway was a successful experience, and easy too.

The dress is very comfortable. Loved the built in slip (even though it doesn't show) it was really pretty. The lace arm dresses up the simplicity of the dress. I wore the 2 even though I normally wear a 4. The 4 just had too much extra material around the arms and looked baggy.

This dress is perfect for a more formal cocktail party or I'd even suggest it for a guest to a winter wedding. The lace sleeve adds a fun element to a very classic LBD. Easy to accessorize, comfortable but form fitting fit. Highly recommend.

This is my 2nd time using RTR, and this was even better than the first time(didn't think that was possible) I wore this to a high school Winter Formal dance. This was THE PERFECT DRESS! The fabric is soft with just the right amount of stretch. It was unlike anything anyone else had! The length was spot on and I didn't have a problem with it riding up! On the left side there is a triangle panel of lace that gives the dress character, I didn't notice it in any pictures. I had the most wonderful time dancing the night away in a comfortable dress that I loved! Overall this was a huge hit and it was nice to overhear people saying "wow! Look at her dress!"

The dress runs a little big so be sure to order the two sizes! I liked it and felt very comfortable in it!

I rented this for New Year's Eve. Both the 0 and 2 fit, but the 0 was a little better with no bunching. The material was comfortable and kept me warm! I got compliments all night!

I wore this dress to a company Christmas party, and it was a hit! I wore it with black tights and black pumps with some sparkly earrings - just enough sexy in the lace but classy in the length and neckline. It's made with some stretchy fabric, so perfect for dancing. Sad to return this one!

I'm rather busty so I went with the larger size. I was afraid the lace sleeve might be tight, but it was fine, even for dancing. The fabric has some give and was comfortable all night. Also, I'm a short 5'2" and thought the dress might be too long but it was just right.

This was my first time using RTR and I was skeptical a out the efficiency of delivery and the quality of product I would receive....I could not have been more impressed! Everything was prompt and perfect. I rented for a black tie optional wedding and the dress was perfect. I always worry about dresses being too short on me because of my height, so the reviews on this dress were helpful prior to renting.

As this was my first RTR Dress, I ensured to order two sizes. (12 and 14) The size 12 fit perfect (even with a little wiggle room) I was comfortable all day and looked amazing. I am proud to say I will order more RTR dresses for all my upcoming events!

This was my first Rent the Runway dress and I could not have been happier. This dress was beyond comfortable. I'm a little curvy and it gave me the perfect hourglass figure. I does run a little large. I normally wear a 8-10 in most dresses but after reading other comments on the dress beforehand, I decided to get a 6 and an 8 and the size 6 was the perfect fit! I have zero complaints about this dress, It was PERFECT.

I loved this dress. It was my backup dress but I fell in love and ended up going with this one instead. The material is very soft and comfortable! It does run a little large so definitely go a size down. It was perfect for my sister-in-law's masquerade themed bachelorette party! I would definitely rent again!

Industry event at the Aloft Hotel in Orlando

I requested this dress for an evening wedding in November so I knew I wanted something that would be classy, comfortable and would keep me warm. This met all those requirements. I usually wear dresses running from a size 4 to an 8 depending on the room in the hips and thighs. Since this was my first RTR rental and I wasn't sure how my hips would fit into the dress and ordered a size 6 and 8. I should have gotten a 4 instead. The dress was a bit loose which was good after all the dancing I did but if you want a sexier fit go down a size. The only other comment I have is that the sleeve are long for this 5'2" frame. I had to fold up the sleeve a little over an inch.

This dress is so comfortable! I would recommend sizing down for a backup size and the fabric is very stretchy so it has a lot of give! great way to show off a little skin in the winter time with these sheer sleeves! Its very fitted through the midsection so I would maybe recommend Spanx with this style! Loved the feeling of this dress.

I really liked this dress. It was super comfortable and I received many compliments. My only complaint was that the dress that was sent to me had been stretched out on the sides, so the sides hung downs little longer than rest of hem.

This dress is very pretty and I got a lot of compliments. Perfect for a wedding when might be a little chilly. The fabric is very loose though and it runs very big, I could have worn at least 2 sizes smaller, don't know if it's stretched out from repeated wears or is that way brand new. The fabric also looked a little dingy and weathered with some pilling and pulls. Tall girls take note!! This dress hit right under my butt cheeks and I'm 5'11" and pretty straight and narrow, I had to be very cautious bending, squatting, and dancing so if you are tall, this is not the dress for you.

The dress ran a bit large but was very comfortable. Remember the sheer lace does show bra strap (which wasn't something I took into consideration when I placed order). Therefore, I changed up my hair to cover the strap.

Thought the 8 was a little big on me probably could have used a 6 which may be due to losing some weight recently. Looked fabulous. Not too short and got many compliments!

The reviews said this dress ran big, but my normal size ended up fitting perfectly. I'm tall and have pretty long arms, so I noticed that the sleeves were a little shorter than I would have liked. It doesn't seem as fancy in person as it does in the pictures. This worked fine for my event but just a heads up if you are getting this for something super fancy! All in all though I loved it and would rent again!

I wore this to a conservative work party and got a ton of compliments. It was comfortable, perfect for a winter affair, but my complaint was that the lining kept poking out at the bottom. Also, it fit perfectly on me and even though I did wear Spanx with it, they weren't necessary. However, the sleeve with the lace on it was really constricting whenever I bent my arm at the elbow. Not a big deal, but started to get irritating after a few hours. But overall, perfect for the night. I also rented the necklace that I LOVED.

Loved the shape, very forgiving. I have a 6 month old and my prepregnancy belly is slowly returning. Need a strapless bra with this.

I wore this to dinner and concert for date night with my husband. I wanted something fun and flirty, that would keep me a little warm on a cool early fall evening. This dress was perfect for all of those things. The material definitely had some wear to it, and the non-lace sleeve was a little short on me (weird, because I usually have the opposite problem) and the hem in the front was not straight. It's pretty noticeable in this picture because of the angle, kind of looking up. Otherwise, the dress was a great fit for the night out. Don't need to own it, but enjoyed wearing it!

Wore this dress to work a black tie at a military industry event. It was shorter than I thought it was going to be, but I have huge quads and am generally thick through the butt and thighs. Fabric is thick - definitely more of a winter dress - with little to no stretch. I wore it with black patent flats and coral lipstick. Don't need to own it, but I don't regret renting it at all!

The dress fit as it is described. The size is true to size, but is not skin tight; so you feel like you can move and breath comfortably. I am tall, so I am always worried about the length of the dress and sleeves. Both were a perfect length; the sleeves fit well and the dress fell mid-thigh. I would rent this dress again for sure! Fit was true to size. The 10 was too big, but the 8 was perfect. Recommend spanx because it is form-fitting.

The lace sleeve on the dress is incredible! I caught myself staring at it a lot. I had to add a skirt to the dress because I am really tall and the dress was barely covering my butt! This problem is probably on the rare side however. I can see this dress definitely working for a shorter girl. Anyhow, the dress was beautifully made and I received a lot of compliments for my outfit. I got lucky finding a skirt that matched perfectly, but the dress looks very good with black tights if a skirt isn't an option. Since the dress is pretty basic besides the lace sleeve, accessories are a must! Finding a good necklace or earrings will make this dress work so well. Basically, besides the length problem, this rental was a success and I would love to rent from RTR again. It was really easy!

It was a great dress for the occasion! The lace sleeve was a subtle way to make this little black dress stand out. I usually wear a 4-6 in dresses and am glad I sized down for my backup. The fit of the dress is definitely more snug than I thought it would be but the fabric is thick enough to camouflage any problem areas. I did end up investing in a pair of spanx to make me feel more comfortable, but definitely could have gone without. The sleeves and the length of the dress were on the longer side, which is why I opted for the smaller size. Overall, tons of compliments, easy to move around and dance, and very comfortable! Another great RTR experience!

I received so many complements and I felt beautiful in this dress. The slip wanted to peak out from the bottom of the skirt, but it wasn't a huge problem for me. This was my first RTR dress and I couldn't have been happier!
