I was super worried the dress wouldn't fit since the only had the one size available (the RTR people were so nice and rented me another one for free!). I went to my high school reunion in this dress and felt super confident. I would definitely rent it again!

I rented this as a backup dress so only had one size. The 4 was way too big- I ended up wearing it belted with the "Miraculous" strapless from VS and it was still pretty baggy around the waist. I'd recommend getting one size down for the 1st size and then another size down for the backup. The dress itself was really pretty though, and has silver threading as others have mentioned.

I loved this dress. It's super pretty and has a light shine all over. It was awesome. Like others say, it did run large in the bust area which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. I had a padded strapless, but if I didn't, the 4 probably wouldn't fit. If you have a bigger cup then this would be a 5 on you! The color is awesome, the fabric is lovely, overall, it was really great, just a little big.

I loved the dress!

Wore this to my Brother-In-Law's rehearsal dinner for his wedding and got plenty of compliments. You could wear it with a statement necklace for a wedding or date or put a blazer or sweater over it for a power meeting or interview.

After reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure about size because of the fit at top. My second dress I ordered was a 6, just in case. Both dresses fit really well and couldn't have worn the smaller size with the bra I had selected, but I needed just a little more room for sitting and dancing so I opted for the 8. In a sea of black dresses this one stood out and go a lot of compliments. If you have a smaller chest, get a more padded/supportive bra to keep everything in place up top. I loved that the dress did have elastic at the top that kept everything up. I didn't tug the dress up all night!

I had a pretty high profile wedding to attend and nothing in my closet to fit the bill. With this dress? Problem solved. To add a little trickiness, I had to have it shipped to the location for the wedding since I waited until to order. Not an issue with Rent the Runway! The dress and the matching earrings were waiting at my hotel when I landed, and I was a definite knock-out! Looking for a gown for Mardi Gras as we speak!

I wore this for a formal work function and it was a beautiful dress. I got tons of compliments. Would definitely recommend.

I rented this dress for my wedding weekend/honeymoon as a back-up alternative. I ended up changing into it after the wedding for the after party. I’m a busty/athletic build…size 2 bottom/size 4 top, and the size 4 fit me perfectly. I’m always nervous about sizing because I can sometimes wear a size 6 in dresses depending on the cut. You can’t really tell from the picture, but it has this silver threading in the blue, which is really pretty. Just something to keep in mind when deciding which shoes to wear. I was thinking about wearing nude satin shoes, but went with my silver flats in the end. It's a super cute dress!

I absolutely loved this dress, its gorgeous! I wore this to one of my bridal showers. The bottom blue part has threads of silvery shimmer and looks better in person. The top of the dress was way too big for me, I ordered a size down since I am very narrow in ribs/bust and still couldn't fill it out, but wore it anyway. Wish I had ordered a 0 although I am typically a 4 in everything else. The length on this dress was great for me- I felt appropriate in front of church friends & family. Usually everything is way too short.

I got this dress as my back-up for an event, but ended up having a party to go to the night before so I got a chance to wear this dress. The material on this dress is gorgeous! The top has a short of soft-creamy/silvery sheen to it and the bottom is navy with lines of silver running through it. When I first took this dress out of the bag, I was certain that I'd end up wanting to wear this one for my big event. After trying it on however, the top is a little less fitted than it looks in the picture. It sort of balloons out under the bust and isn't as flattering as the skirt. However, for the party I was going to, I wanted to dress it down a bit so I wore it with a jacket and the whole thing came off looking amazing! Having the jacket, really focused the attention on the bottom of the skirt, which is the prettiest part of the dress. If you have an office party to go to and you want a dress to wear with a jacket, this is the perfect dress!

The dress was perfect in the picture but it made my bust seem unshapely, doesn't mold well to the body.

Runs too large the 2 was even too big

I rented this dress for a birthday brunch with my family. I loved the idea of an ombre dress, but it just wasn't spectacular in person. I still wore it because the fit was great - snug in the bust and waist - but I didn't feel it was worthy of a special occasion.

I am usually a 4. The top was way too big, even with a padded bra. It fit through the waist but I thought there was too much material on the bottom. It was also a bit long on me. I didn't try the 2, but I don't think it would have fit around my ribs. It a very pretty dress, make sure you order a size down!

The dress would be a lot better if it were a sheath. The pleats (I guess that's what you would call them) in the skirt part make even the thinnest young lady look like she's preggo... not the look I wanted for my rehearsal dinner. The dress was well made and I loved the colors, the fit was just not flattering... Also, I am a 32A and it was tight in my bust, meaning if you are well endowed I would suggest not ordering this dress

There's nothing really wrong with this dress but it fit me super weird. The bust was impossibly big and the dress just barely fit everywhere else. It also went right up to my knees and the skirt bubbles out more than you would expect. Just not really that flattering on me, but on the right figure it'd be great.

The dress ended up fitting funny in the bust and made me look a bit top heavy. I wear a 34C and usually wear a 6 or 8 but neither seemed to fit snugly. I will say that the ombre effect was really pretty though. I ended up not wearing the dress because of the fit.
