This preppy, yet sophisticated dress by Trina Turk was perfect for a day walking the town in DC. The summer cut with the fall fabric and colors were on point for our early September trip! In my opinion, it runs true to size. It was fitted in the bust and midsection, but not tight. I have the zipper pulled up in this photo because we were visiting the Capitol Building, but it was easily relaxed for lunch and drinks by unzipping it a bit. You can wear a standard bra with this dress. At 5’10”, the length was mid-thigh for me and perfect for a warm day. I paired it with sneakers and a crossbody since we were sightseeing, but I’m planning on dressing it up the next time I wear it for brunch with the girls!

Material is very nice, and this is perfect for a work event I have coming up. Is a little tight in the chest for me, but the zipper holds everything in and looks flattering. Definately will order again.

This was a solid rental! Wore this dress prob 3 times in 1.5 months. Received new with tags. Material is very forgiving since it is so thick, but has no stretch whatsoever. I was very happy I ordered a size up (6 to 8) as the 6 would have been way too tight. I have a 36B chest and the size 8 was tight in the chest for me. This can easily be accessorized with flats, even sneakers- or cute tan wedge sandals or black heels. A versatile rental! Length was ok for my 34” inseam. Size up!

Fits like a glove. Heavier weight material so might be a little hot for full summer, but the material is also softer than it looks and has a teeny bit of stretch. Perfect for office to drinks!

I didn’t love this dress — the fabric felt stiff and the cut was too straight, which didn’t flatter my body shape as I expected. I think it could work for someone looking for a more structured, boxy fit, but personally I prefer dresses that are softer and more fitted at the waist. The print is nice and the zipper detail is practical, but overall it just didn’t make me feel good. Returned it without wearing it out.

I liked the zipper, you could zip up for more conservative or zip down for a little cleavage. Material was think and felt expensive but perfect for dinner at the beach with black sandals.

Kinda retro, I liked it. I think I could have sized down, in photos I looked a bit frumpy. The size I got was tight on my chest and loose elsewhere. It wasn’t an ideal cut for my figure regardless of size.
