Will wrinkle when you sit but it's adorable

As others have said, it's tight in the hips, but otherwise I found it true to size. Absolutely loved the pattern, it does wrinkle a bit across the lap, but absolutely loved it!

Loved this springy, colorful dress, but I agree with other reviewers that it was tight in the hips and shoulders. I couldn't lift my arms all the way up!

Loved this dress! It's well made and not too heavy of a fabric. It has a fun, unique pattern and a flattering shape. I'm 5'6", 155, 38C and it was a little tight in the mid section if I sat down, but that's my biggest problem area. I received many compliments and enjoyed wearing this.

I love this dress, the print is classic Trina Turk, however the bottom half of the dress is quite narrow and not the most flattering cut. I wish I had sized up. Thank goodness the pattern is so beautiful, makes it noticeable

Pros: lightweight/lined material. Vibrant colors which make this fun. Love the zipper in the front. I didn't have to be a contortionist to get in and out of the dress Cons: The sizing is a bit odd. I have a 32C bust and the size 6 was a bit snug. The waist and hips were a bit roomy. If you are in between sizes, I would definitely size up but keep in mind that this will not be a "body con" style. Note: For reference, 32C bust, 130 pounds. 29 inch waist and 37 inch hips.

I normally wear a size 2 in Trina Turk and this was a 4. Definitely size up in this dress. Gorgeous dress with stand out colors. Received so many compliments at work. I'm 4'11. Might be a little to short on taller women to wear to work.

This dress is just adorable! It's a great, lightweight shift dress in a fun, bright pattern. In my opinion, the dress does run a little small-- I regularly wear a size 6 in Trina Turk, but luckily went for the size 8 in this dress, and it fits perfectly. The dress itself doesn't have any give so there is no way a 6 would have worked for me. The length hits about 2 inches above my knee (I'm 5'5). I didn't notice it from the pictures, but the zipper for the dress is in the front- a fun little detail that I love!

Size up one. Narrow in hips. Vibrant print. Good fabric. Wrinkles a bit across lap by end of night.

This dress was the perfect Kentucky Derby pick. It is bright and cheerful, so comfortable to wear and I received so many positive comments. I had never worn such bright colors before and the dress was perfect with my yellow fascinator and shoes. The fit was true to size, the length was perfect, above the knee. The fabric was a lightweight cotton that did not crease but was cool enough to wear on a warm day. Trina Turk never disappoints with her patterns and colors! I would recommend this dress for a Summer event.

I wore this to work and got so many compliments! It is beautiful in person. The dress is made of Rayon, and the day I wore it started at 50 degrees and ended at 80 degrees, and the dress was a little stifling at that point. It was a bit tight in the back and hips but fit well otherwise. The zipper goes all the way down the front of the dress, and I left it open a bit at the neck. The quality is wonderful, and the zipper never moved at all. Overall, a beautiful, memorable dress!

This dress was really eye-catching! I felt like I had walked straight out of a Slim Aarons photograph the day I wore it. I normally find Trina Turk very generous in terms of sizing, but this dress was surprisingly snug - especially in the bust and hips. If you normally size down for her dresses, you might not want to this time.

There is no stretch or give to this dress - so if you're confident in how a traditional Shift Dress will fit, order your usual size. If you're not sure or think you'll need extra room in the tummy/hip areas, order a size larger. Otherwise this is a STUNNING dress and I received a ton of compliments. Simple enough for work but still unique enough for a nicer event (not semi formal though).

Ordered a 2 originally but it was too tight. Got the 4 and it fit perfectly. I received so many compliments. Ended up wearing it for Easter too.

Keep in mind there's zero stretch in the fabric. Liked the colors but it was slightly uncomfortable

The other reviews are correct - there is no give in the fabric, so it looks great standing up, but less flattering when moving or sitting down. I thought the colors would be a little brighter, too.

I sized up one size and the dress zipped up with a little wiggle room to spare around the waist and hips (I have small hips), but it was so tight on my back and arms. Despite the sleeves not feeling tight around my arm, the shoulders are cut too small and I couldn't raise my arms, not even to brush my hair or apply lipstick, it was so uncomfortable. The fabric and print are lovely.

Fabric is amazing, dress is even cuter in person but this dress runs at minimum 2 sizes too small. I'm a size 6 & the 6 in this dress would not even close around my body to zip. Going to try a size 10, hopefully that will work better.

Adorable print but not very comfortable because there is no stretch in the fabric.

I love shift dresses as a slightly overweight rectangle body shape, but this one was not flattering, possibly due to the pattern. It made me look wider than I am (5'7", 165 lbs), even though the dress fit ok. The dress does run small -- I could have taken a 12 for a slightly more fitted, but still relaxed look, or a size 14 for a looser shift look. I ended up returning it without wearing it.

Such a cute dress with a great print but the dress runs really small. I'm normally a 0-2 in dresses and I ordered a 4 from the suggested size, but the dress still was a bit snug. A 6 would have fit loosely and looked as a shift dress should. I will definitely reorder in a larger size though!

I am usually a 12 and sometimes a 14 but the 14 was not only tight on my hips but on my arms and chest too.

Even the sleeves were tight and I do not have big arms
