Simple black dress is flattering. I love the neckline. I've rented this dress several times!

This dress might have just been stretched out in the hips but it was REALLY big through the hips. I am on the hunt for a few conservative, but interesting black work dresses and with this interesting neckline, I thought this would be a hit. The neckline wasn't as interesting in person as it looked in some pics. Nice, heavier fabric though. Good quality.

Fit a tad loose in the hips as I read in other reviews, but was a great fabric and very flattering all around! Wish I had this dress!

Stretchy and comfortable--without looking either. Work-appropriate and not too long, though slightly loose in the hips.

I loved wearing this dress for a banker's meeting (needed to look conservative). I might just buy it. The neckline is very flattering, yet conservative. Instead of wearing a necklace (which interfered with the neckline), I added a brooch. Dress runs true to size, but runs wide at the hips. I am usually a size 10 at the chest and size 8 at the waist & hips (5'8"; 154 lbs, 36C). This dress in size 10 fit perfectly on top, slightly wide at the waist, and quite big at the hips. But it didn't take away from how fabulous I felt wearing this dress and the extra room around the hips made it super comfortable for sitting. Also, the material has a small amount of stretch, which further adds to the comfort. This dress is lined at the top, but not at the skirt. I wore it with nude tights and had no problem with the unlined skirt (no slip needed). The material has some texture to it and didn't wrinkle throughout the day. Material is light-to-medium weight, so this dress can be worn year-round.

Great fit, not too tight, great length on sleeves and dress. Form fitting without being skin tight or clingy. Textured material I wasn't expecting but was a nice surprise since I have many black dresses.

I rented this for a conference and it was perfect. The material was thick and stretchy, so it kept its shape during a long day and kept me comfortable in an over air conditioned room. The neckline is interesting (but still work appropriate) and keeps it from becoming too boring. I rated it as running large but it's more accurate to say it's on the large side of size appropriate.

This is a textured fabric with some stretch that was comfortable all day. While the sleeves were tight around my arms, everything else fit well or loosely. I'm between sizes and this 2 felt more like a size 4. Nice length for the office.

A classic black dress that everyone needs in their closet. I got this dress for work. I am 5'7, and flats or heels would look nice. This dress would also be good for a wedding, a funeral, or any event you need to dress up for. I am definitely planning on buying this dress.

I rented this dress for a funeral, 1 of 2 that I needed quickly with no time to shop. The dress is true to size but runs a little large in the hip line. It's a great dress, lined and wrinkle free material with some stretch. I really love the style and would have bought it if I found it in a store. Trina Turk designs are well made as I have a few in my closet. RTR came thru again for me!

What a great dress! I've worn it multiple times and thinking about buying it. It's super comfy and flatters my hourglass shape. Loved everything about it, material, fit..everything. Also doesn't wrinkle and cut out across the chest adds a nice touch.

Love this dress! It's very clean and classic looking. The only thing I will say is it runs big. I'm between two sizes and opted for the bigger of the two and wish I had picked the smaller. Recommend sizing down.

I first wore this to a work conference and it was comfortable to walk around and sit in all day. It has a little stretch but kept its form very well. The sleeves kept me from freezing in the conference room and the detailed cut at the top of the dress kept it interesting. I felt confident and comfortable in the dress. I loved it so much I kept it for another week to wear to the office and now I am wearing it to have my head shots for work done. I'm even contemplating buying it because I have found so many places to wear it! It fits true to size (I wore a 4 and I'm between a 4 and 6) and it is flatter in the waist and works well with a large bust (32DDD). The length was great on my 5'2" frame.

Great fit for hourglass figures. I have hips and big bust -- this was ever so slightly loose all over - very comfortable. Love the neck detail. There is a slight pattern/texture to the material that I didn't mind since it's all black. I may rent size 10 for a more fitted look.

Great quality and a elegant take on a business dress. It almost looks like it is a dress and jacket from afar. Tons of compliments. I ordered a 4 (my usual size) and a 6 as a back up. The 4 fit better but came with a hole in the back so I worn the 6. It hung looser but worked given the professional setting. Would definitely rent again.
