I wore this with a black long sleeve mock neck underneath! Could look cute with tights well. Wore this to an out door engagement party.

The apron styling over a fitted sheath was just weird for me. It also ran a tad long for my liking however I’m a very short woman so, I suspect that wouldn’t be a problem for the average.

Nice fit. Probably works best if you don't have much of a chest. My issue was sitting. The slits and short length made me thankful I was WFH.

I chose this for the conference because it looked youthful and fun, but still modest. I put a long sleeved black button down under it which looked really nice. It's particularly good for a work event because of the front and back panels. It's a funky look but helps keep it from being too form fitting.

First off, I would agree with other reviewers comments to size down, this dress does run a size large. Due to the unique cut of the dress it's hard to belt or anything, so I'd choose the smaller of the sizes that you usually wear. The plaid print is great and the fabric is nice quality as well. Love the plaid pattern for winter! The flaps on this dress were unusual, but I didn't have a problem with it- it actually made the dress much more comfortable because you were not constricted when you sit down. Runs true to size, maybe slightly large. I wish this was a few inches longer for work, but you can make it work with dark tights.

I really like this one. I'll probably wear again before returning. The colors are really pretty. The fabric is thick, and it's actually layered -- the front is kind of like a flap and there's another layer that you can see from the side where the pattern goes a slightly different way. Very chic!

I really like this dress. I got a lot of compliments on it. A good friend reminded me of the proper hem length for people my age. Thankfully I had already worn it by the time she told me or I never would have. I usually wear 16/18 leaning more toward the 18. This dress fit me fine. So if you're a solid 16 you may find this a tiny bit large on you.

I rented this for work and threw a black blazer over it for the office. I work black tights and booties. The dress was short and tight, however, there was an "outer" layer, almost like a smock, that was longer and looser than the actual dress. The under dress was really short when I sat down.

This dress was great to wear to work on a cold day. It's not the most flattering dress-the extra fabric overlay adds bulk and width. Consider sizing down, this dress has a bit of stretch.

I liked this dress a lot but it runs very, very large. I could have easily worn a 00. In addition, it has some really strange side paneling that wasn't my favorite look when the wind was blowing. Overall, it gave me the look I wanted and I liked it. And it's very comfy!

The fabric and details are beautiful, but the dress just doesn't fit right. I tried it with several different jackets, as well as alone, and it just sort of hangs. It's too bad because it's such a nice fabric.

Tight through the top, large through the waist. It's not that figure-flattering but it's a cute mod look.

I wore this dress (twice!) with black tights and booties, and it was a really classic look - great for fall/winter. It wasn't very form fitting, so it's a good dress if you're between sizes. I thought it was cute and could be seen as quite casual (I wore it while exploring a museum) or a little dressier (at a nice dinner). Great multi-function dress that is easy to wear. I'd buy it if it weren't a little pricey! But maybe I still will! Who knows? I really loved it! Very simple and cute.

This dress is cool. It's essentially a sheath dress with a flap down the front and a flap down the back (but in a cuter way than I'm making it sound). So the dress is form-fitting underneath, but then the flaps make it look a-line from the front & back. It's very flattering! I thought the plaid was somewhere between autumnal and punk, so it's office appropriate with the slightest edge. I would say the fit of the dress is slightly tight over the hips & butt, but the flaps cover that. (Wow, every time I say "flap" that just doesn't sound cute, but it is! I promise).

This dress is tts, easy to wear, comfortable and work appropriate without being bland and boring. Packs well, doesn't wrinkle. Fabric is thick and the style of the dress allows you to skip the shape wear. Great for fall. Highly recommend.

The inside layer is a little tight, but the material is super stretchy and since the outer layer is loose, no one could tell the inside was firm fitting. Very cute and received lots of compliments

Cute dress though a little short when sitting down

I really liked this dress - and I just expected it to be a meh rental. The fit was perfect. It's two layers. The top layer just skims to make it look like a shift dress. I paired it with black tights and black booties. It was a bit worn but I'd rent again.
