Rented for a trip to the northeast to visit a friend in December. Fit true to size. Was warm but not too thick that I couldn't wear a sweater or long sleeves underneath. Felt chic walking around the Princeton campus where she works. Living in Florida I would never need to purchase a coat like this, but love that I can rent one if I ever am in need of something warmer.

Very thick and warm coat, great material. Super versatile & easy to dress up or down. I loved this coat, I wore it everywhere!

Truly oversized, but even though I'm only 5'3", it totally worked on me. Paired it with a beanie and combat boots to make it seem more deliberate.

Love the fit. It's boxy and oversized. I often wear a Medium or Small and the XS was the way to go. Warning it is a very clear plaid print. And it is a dark grey.

This coat is everything I wanted and more. I needed something that would fit comfortably over suits. This coat is ideal for it. I would not recommend this coat for someone shorter or it will be dragging on the ground. I wore this with heeled boots and it was still pretty long. The wool material can be itchy but I wore a high necked suit under to avoid it.

The fabric surprised me with its softness. I loved the soft grey cuffs so I folded them back to show the contrast to the main plaid. I did have a man say I looked like Sherlock Holmes but in a good way! I found it funny. But you might want to avoid wearing the famous detective's "deerslayer " cap with this coat unless you are creating a costume

Yes, it is oversized but for once my 5'8 height & linebacker shoulders came in handy. It was stylish, flowy & soft but warm in mid-30's weather. Wore it with both jeans and a turtleneck and a work dress. Got compliments both times. Highly recommend!

I'm a size 14 (5'8, 200 lbs) with a bigger bust and broad shoulders. Got the XL because I thought Trina Turk runs small, but it was actually a bit too big. The sleeves were lined and warm. The length was mid-shin, a very chic look. Wore in 30-degree weather and felt warm enough. The wool was very soft. Would definitely recommend!

I needed a coat for a wedding in Nov where the ceremony was going to be outside. This was perfect. I got a Medium, I'm a size 8, and it was big. A small would have fit better, but if you like that "sex in the city" oversized looked, this was fun. Otherwise I recommend sizing down. It was really warm if your dressing up and have to walk around in winter, rent this! I also wore it to work for a week after the wedding. It's great for everyday wear too!

Oversized fit made layering jackets/sweaters for winter super easy. I would've liked a belt or sash to break up the oversized effect, but still received tons of compliments. Guys in particular very much liked this coat

Stylish, well made, warm. Loved the purple lining in sleeves/deep front pockets. Thin, but it's wool so it's warm. I went down one size and it fit perfectly, with room for layers underneath. I might have got away with my usual size too.

This coat is gorgeous but run VERY large.

This coat is cute and it's soft but it's not warm. Not by a long shot! I will rent this again for spring/fall time but if you're looking to keep warm in the winter, look for another coat

I loved the coat the length and the color. The only thing it is not as warm as I thought I was going to be, the material is thick but wind still passes trough. I live in Chicago and I should've dressed with something more warm underneath. Other than that it's a wonderful coat.

Comfortable coat that is lightweight yet warm. I rented this one last year for a few weeks and started off the chilly season with it again.

I loved this jacket so much, I'm still thinking about it and really want to buy it. It does run large so I ordered a size down(M) and even then it was still a little oversized. However, this isn't the type of jacket that I think needs to be fitted and tailored. It's so comfortable and light, perfect for layering. Got so many compliments

Absolutely perfect coat for spring! Not too heavy but also great for layering. High-quality coat that was great for everyday wear and worked with a variety of outfits. Lots of compliments - would love to add this to my closet again! Heed the advice to size down - even at an XS it still was oversized, but achieved the look I was going for.

You can wear it with jeans and a tee or a dress. 100% wool. No pilling. Beautiful lining in the arms. Wish I could afford to buy it.

Boxy, menswear-inspired fit - I got a medium which I'd never wear in a coat (usually large or x-large for comfort) and it fit perfectly - still boxy / roomy like the design. It's a thin wool so it's warm enough for an Atlanta winter. Loved this coat!

I needed a transitional coat, and decided to rend this instead of buying a new one. I'm so glad I did. The coat does run large, but it is soft and warm and is perfect for fall in Minnesota.

The coat is beautiful and soft. It has the oversized look while still being flattering. It's surprisingly warm for how thin it is!!

The coat was warm and cozy. Perfect to wear for a walk outside.

This defintiely fits big, but I think it's supposed to. I think if I sized down, it would be tight in the shoulders with any other layers underneath.

Nice coat for Fall but on the lighter side and not enough for Chicago winters :( Also wish the buttons went all the way to the top and didn't leave the neck exposed but it's cute.

Love the fabric and the collar on this coat, got lots of compliments. However, it does run big and the top button is slightly lower than you want it to be, so not as cozy as you'd ideally want in a wool jacket. Lovely look though!

If you want this to fit like it does on the model, definitely order 1, maybe 2 sizes down. I'm a standard medium and this was HUGE. The only way I could make it work was to wear minimal, slim fitting shirt and pants and high heels, and then wear the coat open. Looked like it had shape to it that way, with sleeves rolled up and hands in pockets... otherwise it was literally like a tent. I tried it on with a bulkier shirt underneath and it looked lumpy bumpy and frankly ridiculous. I couldn't bring myself to take a picture of the coat on, to be honest... That being said, the coat was cozy, warm, lightweight, with a lovely drape to it. Will try to rent again in a different size and see how that goes.
