This dress is beautiful. There isn't much stretch to the dress, but it runs TTS. It's simple but elegant.

Wore this to a formal gala. Loved the fit, the ruffle and the slit made it a little more interesting for an elegant classic dress. Wore a size 8, couldn’t wear a bra (double D) but with tape, it made it just right. Loose enough but still showed off curves, and danced all night comfortably. Loved it!

I used this dress for a photo shoot set in a hotel room. It was the perfect glamorous piece - it has an easy fit so it's comfortable to move in and I wasn't worried about adjusting anything. I marked it as TTS but I think maybe it runs a touch on the larger size (I would get your regular size but if you're between sizes then size down). Super glam and flattering.

The fit was amazing . I'm just 5 foot so it was a little long but not bothersome . The dress was super comfy and just what I needed .this was my backup dress since the first one I ordered didn't come back in time . Customer service was amazing and they helped me find another dress free of charge . So glad I chose this one ! Received soooo many compliments !

The definition of black tie! I LOVE THIS DRESS. It fits like a glove and even though it is a simple black gown, it is designed so effortlessly and I wish I could keep it forever. It runs true to size, is floor length, and doesn’t stretch; but it is 100% breathable and perfect for any cup size. This is perfect for a wedding, a gala, a charity event, any event that calls for superb elegance. The slit and one shoulder adds sexy flare to it, without being too revealing. All in all, it is a perfect dress.

I wore this while 7 months pregnant and it worked perfectly. Really comfortable and flattering. I sized up one (normally a 4, rented a 6) and it was roomy enough -- I don't think it would've fit well in either size if I hadn't been pregnant given how much room I had.

I loved this dress! It was actually my 3rd pick but ended up loving it the most! I'm 5'6, 140lbs, 34DD and the size 6R was perfect. I got so many compliments throughout the whole wedding. The material of this dress was so light and breathable. Very easy to move in and was just overall the best dress I've ever worn for a wedding.

I typically wear size 8 and this fit great but I found it kind of underwhelming. I ended up not wearing it.

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding at 35 weeks pregnant. While not the most comfortable over the bump (felt pretty tight and difficult to sit in), it was super flattering. I've gained most of my pregnancy weight in my belly and mid section, so the top was a bit loose on me but totally manageable. I ordered the 8L and it worked well - pre pregnancy I would have been a 4 or a 6, and again the top section was definitely too big any smaller size wouldn't have fit over my bump.

I didn't end up wearing this one but this was my backup dress. It fit perfectly over 23 week baby bump, stretchy material and very comfortable.

Snug fit but nothing some spanx couldn't help! Able to move and dance and felt glamorous. I read other reviews that it ran large but I felt like it was true to size and because it is form fitting- I wouldn't order a size down. No need for a bra- the fabric is thick and supportive. The fit was good - slightly larger than other size 2s - I wish m heels were just 1/2" taller for the length. The dress was really comfortable for the gala. I received a lot of compliments -- it was a perfect blend of classy and simple. I would definitely recommend this dress!

This was my choice for back up dress. When I received both of my dresses, I had a hard time choosing which to wear. Looked great on, you cannot see the material in the photo well but it was very sleek and wrinkle free! The entire Rent the Runway process was very easy, affordable, and fun!!! I will do it again for formal events.

This dress is great! Not too tight or too loose. The ruffle adds a lot of fun to a black dress and I got compliments all night! The fabric wasn't too thick. The top was a tiny bit loose (and I am 34dd) but I was able to just pull the shoulder over a little more and it wasn't a problem. The length was fringe in heels. Would definitely rent again!!

Fit is true to size, very forgiven on midsections. Length was great and I am 5'6 and wore 3inch heels and still covered my shoes. So perfect for me.

I chose the 12R instead of the 14R because it fit at the chest (36/38R) and was just a little snug at the stomach area. Perfect length for my height with about a 2.5in heel.

Fit great. Bust was slightly big on me (36B). But nothing some fashion tape couldn't help with.

I got a ton of compliments on this dress. The fabric is pretty thick so it feels like it holds you in. I wore spank and sticky boobs. I am 5'6" and the regular length was fine even with 3.5" heels.

Wore this dress for a black-tie fundraising gala. I've never worn a "one-shoulder" dress before and I received so many compliments all night long! The fit was perfect. Being 56 and having a bit of a "pooch" in the middle section, I'm always worried about looking like a bafoon, but this dress design hid and complimented my body shape. Wish I could have worn it longer! Also - I'm 5'7" and the regular length was perfect with a pair of 3" heels. Thanks again for making my night RTR!!!
