The dress fit great and was in excellent condition on arrival. I was really happy that I chose it for my tiki-themed 30th birthday party. It fit really well and seems like it would be flattering for most body types. The lining/satiny portion is a bit clingy, but the sheer printed outer layer of the dress is very forgiving. The last picture might be the best shot of the dress (though I have a sourpuss face).

This dress was very comfortable to wear for 8 hours straight. I suggest wearing a belt if you don't care for the straight and relaxed look.

When I came out dressed my husband said wow. I' m only 5'4 and paired it with cute flip flops for an island pool party. If your tall it will hit you where the model photo does. I found it a little tight fit up top but I liked that cause I didn't have to keep pulling it up. Can be slow to walk in as the blue under lining is slim fitting as some of the other reviews stated. Nice quality & I would wear again.

The fit was great on the bust and a little snug towards my legs, but the overlay fabric makes it nice and flowy. I decided to belt it, to give it some shape. It's a great dress for any vacation or tropical themed party!

I am short and have double D's. I fit in an 8 body but needed a 10 or 12 for the chest. I went with the 10. I recommend belting it for more of a flattering silhouette. Perfect for so many occasions. I wore it to a 1970's themed huge party, a baby shower, and a dinner date. It's GORGEOUS. Turned so many heads and I got compliments all night long. I had to wear very high shoes and it was still a tad long, but it didn't stop me from dancing.

I rented this for an awards gala themed "Island Chic". It was perfect! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have a slit and that made it a bit difficult to dance. Other than that the dress is super comfortable and well made. I ordered a 2R and a 4R and though the 2 would have been better length wise (I'm only 5"1 1/2) the 4 was more comfortable across the top. This was my first RTR experience and I loved it!! Super convenient, super fast and super organized...dress arrived in a garment type bag along with my clutch that you can easily travel with. I'll be back for sure! Thanks RTR!

The lining is tight on this and doesn't really have any give. I would size up so that you have enough length in the dress to walk comfortably.

The dress code was aloha wear. I nailed it in this dress. The size 2 fit great on me. Im usually a size 4. I'm short and the length was perfection. Loved that I didn't have to wear a bra, the top of the dress was lined and provided security. No pulling up this dress, it stay put all night. My one and only issue was that I couldn't take big steps in the dress. I wish it had a slit. Overall, this rental was a great success.

Overall I had a positive experience with RTR and this dress! The dress fit perfect and I received a lot of compliments. The only thing I will say is the lining underneath was thicker than I thought and so for a beach wedding and outside reception, I was a little warm. Other than that, I LOVED this dress!

Pros: This dress fits perfectly, I usually avoid wearing strapless but this one fits perfectly at chest. It also has a build-in support structure at chest area so there's no need to wear a bra. It's super easy to wear too. Cons: The length is good for me without any heels on (I'm 5'3, but it's to the ankle area not like the way it's on the model), although the bottom part doesn't have a wide opening so you can't walk too fast, the good thing is that the colorful part is a separate layer from the dark slit so I used 2 pins to shorten the dark slit inside, to make the length shorter, and walking is much easier. Overall it's a great and casual looking dress, it's perfect for vacation.

I wore this dress to a wine event on a golf course. My husband sponsored the event for one of his clients, so I felt like I couldn't be too sexy or casual. This dress had the perfect mix of glamour, ease, and summer. This dress worked wonderful in that we were standing all night. If it had been a sit down event I think the dress would have been quite troublesome as the grip in the back rolled every time I sat down. It also was not a dress that I could have danced in. The bottom was quite narrow. It didn't bother me for socializing but while hurrying to the event it was quite difficult to move quickly. The dress was beautiful, so worth my husband watching the back and slowing our pace. I also resisted the urge to belt it. It is flowy but fitted enough that it still gives you shape. When I belted it, it instantly made it much more casual. If you wanted to wear this to something less formal, belting it definitely gave it that spin. Overall it made me feel beautiful.

Really liked the look of this dress. I wore the 4 because it was the best fit overall, but really could have used a 6 in the hips (I typically wear 2 or 4). I'd recommend this for women have very proportional bodies.

Got this for myself, size 8 usually fits just a bit tight. But this didn't fit at all so my sister who is a size 4-6 wore it and it was snug in her. As you can see in picture it's not really flattering. Maybe would be better on someone tall and skinny.

The colors of this dress are outstandingly vibrant and the dress has the perfect flowy laid back vibe. Unfortunately, this dress at least in my normal sizes (0,2) is too small. Made more for some stick thin, smaller boobs and about 5'7 " not 5'1". Which is okay, I knew I was taking a risk here. It is the inner lining of the dress that did it in for me though. Since it clearly is not made for someone a with a bust or butt. That is wear the lining hugged (more like squeezed) the most and at My bust I couldnt even get it to clasp around me, let alone zip! With that being said I still LOVE Trina Turk's dresses and would recommend this to those ladies who fit the body type for it.

I wore this for a spring waterside/poolside cocktail party. I actually ended up purchasing the dress a year later on ebay I loved it so much.

I usually wear a 2 or 4, but I rented the 4 and 6 based on reviews. The 4 was snug at the top, but fit just right. I could have worn the 6, but was much looser at the top.

Color is sharp and clear. Very comfortable too.

I really loved this dress and got so many compliments on it all night! The colors were so bright and vivid-- the picture really doesn't do it justice. It was the perfect length on me to wear with flats.. It barely grazed the floor. Anyone taller than me probably could not wear this unless they wanted their shoes to show. I also belted this because it hangs straight down (as shown in pic) and I wanted to emphasize my waist. I ordered a size down as my back-up and while it fit my bust, the layer underneath was a little too tight around my hips-- just to give you an idea if you are deciding between sizing up or sizing down for your second size. It probably won't matter because it fits true to size. Overall... Great dress!

But really did love it on, just went with another option. The colors are beautiful without being overwhelming. The fit was perfect one size up, which I had read on other reviews as well. The length worked for a shorty like me (5'2) with low heels. Perfect dress to pair a statement necklace with.... definitely would have been great for our summer date, or for a summer wedding or vacation. May rent again so I can actually wear this one.

This dress was beautiful on...I love the billowy top layer. I wore it early spring but feel it would be more appropriate for summer. I would say the dress runs a bit on the large side. I wore the 4 but am usually in a 6 these days. However, I almost always have to go smaller in a strapless dress. this one in particular was difficult when I tried the size up because of the hanger loops. The top seam kept rolling out, so my husband really wanted me to wear the 4 even though it was tighter in my hips. I have large hips for the rest of my body shape but I was still pretty comfortable in the dress and it still fell nicely on my body. My one (small) negative about the dress was that there was no hook and eye at the top of the side zip, which made the dress difficult to zip up while keeping the hanger loops tucked in without the help of another person. I didn't order this dress it was sent as a surprise extra with my maxi dress. In a maxi dress I wear a small but a dress like this that has a zipper I need a larger size to fit my chest. I could get the dress zipped a little bit but because it was a size 2 ( and I usually wear a 4-6) I would think that this dress runs a tad on the big size.

I loved the color and material of the dress. However, if you're a full size D+ this dress won't work for you. I went with the largest size (12) to accommodate the *girls* but the zip still wouldn't zip.

Rented this for a beach wedding -- it fit large and boxy and made me look far larger than I am.

Unfortunately I didn't end up wearing the dress because it ran too small. If you are chesty, I would size up. I normally wear a size 12 in dressed because of my chest, however, this dress wouldn't even zipper. It was sad because it would have been perfect for he wedding I was attending in Costa Rica.

It is tight in the cleavage area. I could not zipper the dress at the top with a strapless bra on and had to wear the dress without a bra. I am not small chested but I was shocked by the tight fit in this area. The rest of the dress fit great.

The colors and fabric make this dress so chic. This was my back-up dress for a garden wedding and I wore the other one (solid orange maxi wrap) because this one was a little too restricting. The navy inside layer is cut very narrow, which is beautiful, but not comfortable for lots of walking/dancing.

As I said, it was too small. I normally wear a size 6 in dresses so that's what I got. Most people who had written a review said it was true to size, but I would disagree, I would go up a size especially if you are larger in the chest. I'm a 34 D bust and I couldn't zip it the last 1/4 of the way.

The dress was not at all comfortable. The navy lining needs a slit on the side I think in order for more movement. I actually tripped while wearing it because I couldn't walk properly. I also rented the yellow necklace it is shown with and it was a MAJOR disappointment. It felt very, very cheap and twisted in a way that hung unevenly and looked horrible. I wouldn't recommend either item.

Fit was perfect. I am 5'2" and with flats, the dress fell perfect. I would have gone with the long had I intended to wear heels. Being a 32D, I expected the dress to be tight at the bust but it has boning and it stayed in place perfectly - no adjusting!! Very appropriate for a summer party - I will def rent this one again!

Didn't end up wearing. They only had the 2 available and I'm usually a 2 or a 4. HOWEVER, the top is very tight and my 32DD bust would not fit int he 2 AT ALL.

Beautiful fabric and colors. The bustline was too tight to be able to zip up all the way. I usually wear a 4-6 so if you are on the border, size up.

I did't like the fact that it did't have a slit on the side, must take short strides in this one. Also, it was very wrinkled when it arrived.

RTR sent this to me when one of my dresses wasn't returned in proper condition from the previous renter (a risk with RTR) and it was gorgeous. Its lining is fitted, however, so it only appears to be flowy. I would size up if you are in between sizes or don't want to be too constricted. Gorgeous dress!

Like other reviews state, the slip/lining of this dress runs small. The dress will look great on and feel snug. Those with larger chests definitely size up!!! I am a small B and the zipper was quite snug in the bust area.
