I wore this to the opera! Beautiful material and so comfortable. I absolutely love this dress!!!!

I think this dress runs small because all my other rentals have been size 8 but I went with 6 due to the reviews and got the 8 as my back up size. I didn’t even try the 8 on. The size 6 fit like a glove. It was a very classy dress. The length was perfect . Tastefully above the knee. This dress is great for concealing the mid section and shoulders and arms. The cape part didn’t go all the way around the dress. It was just around the shoulders which was great because it made it feel less like a costume. The back of the dress looked like a regular dress. You can wear a regular bra with this dress. The dress does go up when you raise your arms so don’t wear if you plan on dancing a lot. I just wore a wrap around this to get to and from the car because putting on a coat would have been difficult. The material was heavy and perfect for a fall or winter event. The dress was very well made. The zipper was on the side and it zipped all the way up to underneath the armpit so I needed help. Hair and makeup must be done after getting the dress on.

The fit was flawless and the thick material made me deel fabulous. So many compliments with the cape and fit. The i ly down side is that i could not lift my arms for dancing as the whole dress lifts up but other than that this was a super fun find!

I rented a size 6 and 8 and went with the 6.

If you're even considering this dress.. rent it! It was so hard to send this one back because I'm a bit obsessed with it! At only 5 ft I was worried how this would look on me, but it fit perfect and I recieved SO many compliments. Plus its such a comfortable dress. Will definitely rent this one again!

This dress was perfect for a night at the theater in London. I felt classy and sexy. The material was a good weight and perfect for London in November. I like that the dress was knee length so it looked great walking around but was also comfortable to sit in. It took a little bit to get used to the cape but now I wish all of my tops had capes. I would highly recommend this piece.

The dress wa so comfortable. Full disclosure, you are not able to lift your arms up very high, but it was a small price to pay. I can't wait to rent another dress.

Perfect for a black tie optional fall wedding. Trina sometimes runs a bit large on me, but this worked perfectly. It was comfortable and easy. Only flag is be careful if you throw your hands up in the air on the dance floor- the cape makes the dress ride up a bit precariously in that instance. Overall, 10/10

I wanted a dress that would would stand out from everyone else’s, and this was perfect! I wore it to a Student Council end of the year event to announce how much money we had raised for charity. All the girls had to wear short, black dresses. Since everyone would be dressed alike, I wanted something different. The dress fit great! I got a lot of compliments on it and felt very regal in it. Ha! I felt like I needed to do a princess wave all night. :) (I normally wear an 8 in everything, and this fit like a traditional size 8... plus wasn’t tight in the chest area.)

This dress is a perfect modern minimalist vibe with just a little out of the ordinary cape detail adding flair to a LBD. I wore a 6 but probably could've worn a 4. Super flattering 10/10 would order again

The dress fit great in the size 8, which is my normal pant size. I received endless compliments from others attending the event. As others have reviewed, this dress isn't great for dancing because you can't put your arms up all the way. However, it makes you look sleek and sexy, and you'll hear as much! I am busty (36DDD), so being able to wear a normal bra is a big plus. I really loved this rental! I felt absolutely stunning.

This dress was sexy yet classy. So fun to wear a unique dress ... I received compliments all night. In addition it was perfect for a winter wedding. Only problem was if I lifted my hands above my head it came up and exposed my butt!

This is probably my favorite RTR so far, so many compliments, so comfortable, so...caped. I could have worn the 12, but 14 was a little looser and the cape felt bigger so I went with that haha. I wore it for an October Salem wedding but would definitely rent again for any formal event! I loved it.

Fabulously comfortable dress that I wore to a black tie work event. It was cold in Colorado so it was perfect for looking good but staying warm. Paired with a gorgeous RTR necklace- easy peasy! Loved this.

It was a bit loose but I'm more petite than I think I am I suppose! Nice quality fabric as others mentioned. Tried to figure out how to pose best with the cape but I'm sure others will have more success. Would rent again!

Dress fits well. May be large for some as I have a large chest, but still has extra room in my shoulders. I stood out from the crowd with the cape, it is a great feature. Would definitely rent this dress again.

LOVED this dress!!! Wore it for Bloom "Air" party- with a glam-60's air-travel theme, it was perfect!! This dress is so comfortable, easy to wear, fun, flirty and warm! It does run a little big-but I think all Trina Turk runs large-size down for backup. This dress can be styled so many great ways-I would definitely consider renting again!!

It did run a little large, I ordered the size 2 and it was roomy. I am 5 ft. 4" and I think the 0 would have fit perfect. Great dress overall and I would rent again!

As noted by others, you couldn't raise your arms too much because of the attached cape. The wedding took place on a late afternoon by the water, but was unnoticed because of the MAGNIFICENT cape. Overall, the dress was a fantastic selection for both wedding and weather! I would definitely rent again.

I range from 4 to 6 in dress size. Glad I rented the 6 and 8, the 6 fit perfect! The dress was very comfortable and I had so many compliments! This was my time to rent and was very pleased at how easy it was! I will definitely be renting for future events.

The fit was perfect. It's a heavier material with some stretch to it.

This dress was actually my 2nd option. So glad I didn't pass it up. It was perfect for a masquerade party. I didn't feel under or over dressed. The cape sleeves kept me warm on a cool southern March night. I'm 5'1" with a large chest 36dd. The 8 was too tight and almost too short so I went with the 10. I love rent the runway!! This wasn't my first rental and definitely won't be the last!!

This cape dress was the perfect choice to wear to an evening work function with my husband. It fit perfectly and hid my "problem" areas beautifully. I will rent this one again! The necklace is also from RTR! Another huge hit!!!

I rented this for a formal New Years Eve event and couldn't have been happier with my choice! I tried both the 6 and 8 and while both fit well I found the size 8 more comfortable for my curvy hips. The attached cape makes for a stunning look but be aware you can't lift your arms very high or the whole dress goes with it! Got lots of compliments on this one!

I wore this dress to a wedding in Sonoma County(wine country) in chilly November. So happy I chose this for the cape as it gave me extra warmth without having to bring outerwear or a clumsy wrap. I received lots of compliments and felt so chic the whole night. The material is heavier weight and lined so I don't recommend this for a summer wedding but otherwise it comfortable, you can dance the night away! You can cover arms and tummy and still be confident and sophisticated.
