This was true to size and trendy. I wore with tights because it was winter but length is perfect. Didn't ride up & was comfortable and fabric didn't look cheap, which can happen when leather-like material. I'd rent again!

The midsection is not fitted, with comfortable room throughout midsection. If you’re curvier, you may want to consider sizing up. This dress is super cute and is very flattering! The leather adds a touch of edginess. At 33” from the shoulder to hem, this dress hit about mid-thigh. If you’re taller, this dress would hit a little higher. This dress is flirty and fun for everyday and work. It would look best with black shoes and black accessories.

I rented twice. M was super big, S still loose but I was able to wear. It runs large I could have fitted in an XS which I am obviously not. Light and perfect for an October evening .

Love this for Fall - especially the leather detailing! The fabric has a lot of stretch, so definitely go down a size. This would work best for athletic and straight and narrow body types. Because I am fuller in the hips, it was fitted for me in that area, but had A LOT of room in the tummy and waist area. So us curvier gals should probably stay away from this one. I'm a size 2, with 40" hips. Going up a size wouldn't have alleviated the problem either. It can be worn with a standard bra, which is always a good thing! It's a zipper closure in front so it's super easy! Pair with booties and an over-sized scarf for the perfect Fall look!

Really love this dress! It is very versatile and comfy. It does have a box shape but I think that's why you can wear it to anything so I liked that. The mid section is a little bigger so depended how you bend it does scrunch up.

I took people's advice and sized down, and it was right on! Since I wore to work I decided to do it with tights since the hemline was a bit short. Plus with the leather skirt and sleeveless style, I wanted to tone it down, so I also added a long sleeveless tailored jacket. It made for a cool outfit for work that could go into the evening. Very comfortable and felt stylish and edgy wearing it.

For a tight fit, I would have gone with the XS. Small was perfect to wear to work with a blazer.

fit was not skin tight it was comfortable and lose but sexy I am 5"6 and did not feel like it was mini or short, of course everything is relative.

This dress is cute. The leather at the bottom gives it a little extra something, but it does make you warm so I don't recommend this dress for hot weather. The top part is a stretchy, sweatery feel and is very fitted so I wore Spanx underneath. Wore it to a work conference and felt cute!

I like this dress because it has a casual fit in the stomach area so you don't have to worry about eating or sucking in, haha! It's conservative on top but shows some leg at the bottom. I am considering buying because it's 70% off but can't decide! Anyways, I would recommend for a night out :)

Awesome work appropriate dress with a bit of edge -- only downside is the leather is very sticky so can be bothersome on a hot day.

I am fuller in the hips so I sized down based on other reviews but should have stuck to my guns and gone with a medium and not a small!

I really liked it, but my husband was like you aren't wearing that for date night! He thought it was boxy, looked like a sack, etc. I did think it would be more form-fitting and I liked the leather to wear with boots. He did not go for it. I ended up wearing it to work with a tight cashmere sweater underneath and black boots. I thought it looked great.

The dress is not very fitted, which might be a problem for some. It's most of a figure skimming dress. I found it very comfortable.

Great dress to wear to work and then out after. The top isn't overly flattering, but it's not terrible either. Nice design. Would rent again

I rented this for my anniversary date for winter time. The fit was awkward on my body, but I still wore it. I borrowed a smaller size as well, but went with the original small. The extra small was awkward for the mid section. Other than the awkward fit, it was a comfy dress to wear.

For someone with a pear or hourglass shape this dress is a terrible choice - it's boxy and very unflattering! But I imagine on someone more waif-y it is cute

Rented this for a friend's party and it was comfortable and the material was thick enough that I wasn't freezing the entire time. That said, the cut of the dress was just ok. I think the stylist was right in her comments when she said this wasn't for curvier gals. I don't consider myself super curvy (I have a large bust but average hips) but the cut wasn't super flattering since there was additional material in the midsection. I think this would be fabulous on someone with a more straight/narrow body type, but it wasn't great for me.
