As some of the other renters described, there were a few loose threads here and there, but it was nothing that a bit of trimming couldn't fix. The color is really rich and stood out beautifully at my company's holiday party, where most people were wearing black. I really enjoyed wearing this dress and would recommend it to others.

This dress was beautiful! I received so many compliments on it. I wore it to a friends wedding and it was fun to twirl around on the dance floor all night! The straps were a little big, but I was able to pin it up. I would definitely wear this dress again!

I loved everything about this dress! It is true to size and works especially well if you are busty. The shoulder straps make it easy to wear a bra with straps for extra support, but strapless would work too because the back is not too low. The color is even more vibrant in person and photographs very well. However, be warned that the outer covering of this dress snags easily so it may show some signs of wear. Make sure to prepare yourself for tons of compliments because this dress is a showstopper!

Such a fun dress to wear! The lace fabric is heavy and the skirt has several layers, including a section of tulle which gave the skirt a nice poof. Very sophisticated, but fun to wear.

The waist sat a little higher than I expected (despite my short torso), but it maximized the skirt-twirling potential. This is probably my favorite dress I've ever worn.

The color, shape and texture of the fabric made it very photogenic. It moves well and was very flattering.

I ordered my usual size 4 and a size 2. The size 4 dress I received had a broken zipper, so I couldn't wear it. Luckily, the 2 fit but I think the 4 would have fit better. It was even hard to zip up the 2 cause the zipper would get stuck. Also, it snagged easily. All of that aside, I still loved the dress for its retro vibe. I wore it with black Michael Kors wedges, curly hair, and Nicole Miller earrings I also rented from the site. I recommend renting this dress but make sure you order 2 sizes in case one of the zippers is messed up!

It has been years since I have rented this dress and never placed a review about it. I am sorry, ladies, but I don't think I have a picture of it anymore. However, I can tell you that it was very flattering for my petite figure. The color purple was vibrant but not overly bright. The V-neckline was my favorite because paired with the lace, it adds an elegant and graceful look to the dress. If you want a dress that is fun but still covers up, I think this one is perfect!

The back dips down, so I opted for a backless bra. The bodice was only the slightest bit snug (but the 4 would have been too loose), and the cut is very flattering - ate a huge dinner and it was well hidden! ;)

This dress got me more compliments than I can count - it was a super fun dress with the very ample skirt, and looked great dancing. I seriously consider buying this dress!

I rented this dress for a September wedding and it was perfect for the occasion. The color and detail of the lace were wonderful. The skirt was also great for dancing- fun to twirl around in without exposing too much of yourself :). I am usually a size 6 but only a size 4 and 8 were available the weekend needed, so I rented both. I couldn't zip the 4 up and the 8 was loose on the top half. I wore the 8 and pinned the straps of the lining to my bra (had to wear a special bra for low-backed dresses). So even though the 8 was a little too big it still looked great.

What does one wear to a destination beach wedding? THIS dress! It's so cute and flirty. It has enough give if you eat that extra slice of cake and enough movement for you to shimmy to one more Journey song. You can even twirl away and get some good oompf in your twirl and not worry about anything moving around. Can wear a normal bra with it and there's enough layers that you can wear normal undies too. The purple lace has a nice floral detail that you can't really see in the photo but its a really detailed, fun, dress.

This was my backup dress, and was so sad I was unable to wear it (my first choice worked out perfect). However, will definitely be renting it again. The vibrant purple is amazing!

Dress was very feminine and really beautiful. Wore it to an outdoor Miami wedding and it was perfect. It hit a little above the knees on me and I did not have to wear a bra (the back is a little lower than a standard bra and the front is high enough that there's no need for any push-up action and tight enough so there's no jiggling). Also didn't have to wear spanx b/c of the loose skirt! I like it for a wedding b/c it's pretty and demure. Would rent again.

Wore this gorgeous dress to a friend's wedding in September and I absolutely adored it. There were a couple snags in the lace but trimmed them down and it was perfectly fine - not noticeable at all. The dress is much lovelier in person, I loved how it gave me a defined waist, and I felt so pretty in it throughout the event. I wished I could've kept it!

This dress is adorable! I'm 5'3'' 118 and the 0 fit perfectly! I"m a B cup and I would recommend this dress to those who are small chested. Its very fitted up top and makes me look so tiny! The lace is beautiful and has a little bit of shimmer to it. Got it for a bachelorette weekend in Savannah and its just what I was looking for. Definitely will rent this again!

I love this dress! I have rented it twice - once to wear to my bridal shower (with a cardigan) and another time for a wedding. I received compliments on it both times. Since I'm short (5'2) the dress came to my knees, but with heels it still looked proportionate. I am 5'2, 110 lbs and the size 0 fit perfectly. I recommend this dress!

I loved this dress! It did fit a little big, so good thing I made sure to get a size smaller than normal. The color is so rich and was great for the wedding I attended.

Dress is gorgeous, loved the lace and the neckline, wasn't too low cut or revealing. However, I usually wear a 2 and the 2 was too large for me. It may have been because I am very short. I was unable to wear it because of the proportions. On a taller woman though I am sure this would be beautiful!

Unfortunately, the back up size of a 2 wasn't available, so I went with a 4. For my body (5'2, 125lbs, 27 waist, 34D), it wasn't the most flattering. My top heavy body didn't do so well with a dress with such a full lower half because I just looked "full" all over. Maybe it would've been different with a tighter size 2, but I wasn't a big fan. Loved the color and fabric though!

Such a pretty dress... only complaint was that the zipper was extremely hard to close (as the lace kept getting in the way). The 8 fit perfectly in this, while a 4 in a Nanette Lepore dress (go getter) fit amazing, so do your research on sizing!

The dress is beautiful, I felt like an absolute knockout in it. Perfect for the summer wedding I wore it to, I got so many compliments! Swirly skirt, fitted bodice, really comfortable. The dress is made for someone with a longer torso than mine (which is v. short), but that was a very small con in a big heap of pros. Highly recommended!

I am in love with this dress. I wore it to a wedding rehearsal dinner and was like a walking advertisement for Rent the Runway. I don't think I've EVER received more compliments on an outfit IN MY LIFE. The dress is cute and comfortable. I'm usually a size 8 or 10 in pants, and I ordered the size 8. I thought the fit was fine, some of my friends thought I could have gone down a size. Also, even with the cute V in the back, it was no problem to wear a strapless bra. In the end I didn't want to send this dress back!

I wore this dress to a wedding and loved it. The color and lace are absolutely beautiful. The dress was incredibly comfortable to wear. I would say the dress runs true to size, but the zipper is a little finicky because of the lace work. It was definitely helpful to have the extra size.

My size wasn't available so I wore the next size up and it was pretty loose. Based on that, I'd say my correct size (6) would have been right on the money. Even wearing the next size up (with a fawn colored cardigan), I adored this dress! I received so many compliments it truly made my day/decision to rent it! It was really a unanimous crowd pleaser. I wore it to a wedding brunch at a fancy old hotel in San Francisco and was complimented by both young fahionistas, men, and mature women like the very stylish mother of the groom alike. Someone else mentioned that this is easy to snag and that put me on the alert so I didn't have any mishaps, but it is true. Don't go wearing that bracelet with the sharp rhinestones with this one.

The color, cut and style of this dress is gorgeous. The fabric amazing and the cut very vintage and sophisticated. I wore it to a baby shower and now I want more deep purple clothes. Lots of compliments on this design so that made it even more fun to wear. My only issue was the delicacy of the dress (which is undoubtedly what makes it so fabulous) but there were loose threads and parts where the trim was starting to come undone. I wore it very carefully but not comfortably because I was worried the whole time that someone would snag the thread with their jewelry. Thankfully I left the party unscathed, but I think it might be time for this dress to visit a seamstress for a lil pick me up so that others can try out its fabulousness.

I was really worried about this dress because I had read a review that said they needed a bigger size than normal. That being said I was really happy to say that a 2, which is sometimes even a little small on me, worked great. The zipper can be troublesome but aside from that, this dress was awesome. I am a true hourglass, 35-25-35 measurements and it was so beautiful. I am a 32DD so sometimes dresses are difficult to fit into but this one fit like a dress. So great, will definitely rent again!!

I wore this dress to a summer wedding and got a ton of compliments. My only complaint is that the the lace-like material snags very easily; when the dress arrived, there were loose threads hanging off of it that I had to "trim" in order for the dress to look presentable.

I love the lace pattern of this dress and the deep purple color. I'm glad that I ordered two different sizes because the smaller size did not fit well. The bigger size fit better but was too big around the bust for me. Otherwise I'm happy that i chose the dress. It was great for the rehearsal dinner.

This dress is really cute but as soon as I opened the package I knew it was going to be too big. The over all fit was ok it wasn't too tight and i felt comfortable in it but it went way past my knees. The waist also hits lower than your natural waist and cuts across the stomach. I'm sure it works out much better on taller girls, it just wasn't right for me. Also the skirt is A LOT fuller than it looks in the picture.

The lace looks pretty in the picture, but cheaper up close. Luckily it was my back-up dress, so I didn't have to wear it. I wouldn't suggest for someone with a large bust.
