Loved this dress! Fit was true to size and very flattering. I received compliments literally from the moment I took my coat off. It was a perfect fun and flirty dress for a birthday party while still being classy enough for a mom to wear. It is very short however, so I opted to wear tights with it which ended up being great as we had cold weather on the day of the party.

Thought I'd wear the 4, but ended up wearing the 6 because the bust area was super tight. Fit pretty well overall. Unique dress. Would recommend!

The intricate lace on this dress is show stopping! It's gorgeous! The stop runs large but beware this dress is SHORT and I am only 5'0. It was great for NYE because of the sleeves! I absolutely loved this and would rent again! I wish I owned it!

This was my first experience and I loved it! I ordered a 12 after reading other reviews that it was pretty short. I probably could have worn a 10 but I think it definitely would have been too short then This was also my first time dressing up since baby #2 and I didn't want anything too form fitting, so I liked the looseness of the 12. . Great dress but if you are going to be doing a lot of dancing it will come up and probably show your bottom!

This is by far my favorite dress I've rented! The lace was so beautiful and I got compliments all need get long. The dress was in mint condition.

Comfortable dress with just the right amount of detail. It does run short, however being just 5'2" it was perfect! Received tons of compliments, and rented the pearls on RTR as well. I wear a 2 or 4 (more often a 4) and the 2 was the best fit.

I wore this for a 1920's Art Deco themed wedding. Everyone loved it and it fit great! I am normally between a 7/8 and the 8 was perfect! The customer service at rent the runway is beyond compare. Thanks!

This dress is super cute. True to size...if it weren't so short, I might have gone to a 4. I'm 6' tall though :-) Wore it to a dinner party and got a lot of compliments!

This dress was gorgeous. The lace detail, the drop waist, was all very flattering. Paired with a large black clutch, strappy lace-up black heels and gold drop earrings. Lots of compliments. It was comfortable but very pretty. It is true to size, but know it is loose fitting.

loved the dress! i am 38-y.o., 5'8" 155lbs and the size 8 fit me perfectly - not too loose, not too tight. hit me about mid-thigh (little lower than where it hits the model in the photo) but did not feel uncomfortably short. wore this for a "speakeasy" themed NYE boat cruise and got a ton of compliments. i love that the dress was modern in style but also works great for a 20s/gatsby/etc. theme. when you accessorize it as such. the lacey stuff makes the dress so pretty and the neck and sleeve length are flattering. and thankfully a nice pair of spanx makes this dress wearable around the pooch :)

The dress runs large so I was able to wear the smaller size.

Loved it for a New Year's Black and White party, and also wore it to a performance. Worked fine with thick tights, (seriously thick tights, they are fleece and I call them my anti-spanks because they make me chubbier and more comfortable instead of skinnier and less comfortable), which made me happy at a party that included a cool outside bar.

Wore this for a speakeasy themed event and it was perfect. I wore the 12 for the length. The 10 was not much smaller overall but a lot shorter. One of my favorite rentals yet!

I LOVED this dress!! I wore it to a Great Gatsby themed holiday party and it was perfect! The dress was very comfortable and I coupled it with the BEN-AMUN 'Dressed in White Earrings'! I got a ton of compliments on this dress and felt great in it all night! I wish I owed this dress!

By and far this has been my favorite dress I have rented! I got non stop compliments on it. It ran pretty true to size (although I could have ordered a size smaller). I thought the length was perfect and didn't have any issues at all! It was perfect for the wedding we attended. I'm sad to have had to send it back I loved it so much!

Fits well, was in brand new condition (as in I removed the tags!). Fit perfectly and people couldn't believe it was RTR when I told them. I would highly recommend it for any event!

-As shown in the seated photo, it's quite short, I didn't mind, but might be an issue for others (I'm generally more leg than torso) -The bottom looks "fringe-y", but it's actually just the same lace pattern with a little black taffeta underneath on top of the tan slip -I'm short waisted, so dresses tend to be too tight in the hip area. The 8, which is my normal size, was comfortable and not too tight

Dress is very cute for the style but isn't exactly cut to flatter. It's actually a bit dressier than the pictures imply which was great for the event I attended. It will make your butt look good with the flounce to your walk though. I ordered my normal size (4) because I have some curves and got a smaller (2) as a back up. Definitely glad because the 4 was way too big.

The lace on this dress is gorgeous although I received it brand new so it was in pristine condition. (Love being the first to wear a rental lol). There is an ivory slip underlay that is attached at the bust so it stays in place and the straps on the slip are adjustable. There is also a little bit of crinoline under the skirt. There are buttons on the sleeves which is a nice detail. Overall, though, I found the silhouette of this dress to be super boxy on me. I have no hips, though. I sized up so maybe I would have been better off in a smaller size. It's classy and fun but does run short if your all leg like me. Sitting offers lots of leg view if your on a date but could keep you tugging down if you're at a wedding or family event. Very safe dress.

This fit true to size. I was about 20 lbs lighter when I wore out. It shows off sexy legs, as it is shorter. I had so much fun wearing this and would love to rent it again.

This was an emergency overnight replacement when my original choice became unavailable, but this dress ended up working out beautifully. I am incredibly short and this dress hit me about mid thigh, well above the knee. The lace had a retro feel and was extremely soft and comfortable. The vintage buttons on the sleeves were also a nice surprise. I would rent again if ever in a pinch.

I rented this for a 20's themed party. It was perfect. True to size, super comfortable, a little on the short side but I loved it. There are three small buttons on the sleeve that occasionally get caught up in the lace part of the dress but it wasn't too bothersome.

The buttons were missing on sleeve of dress but couldn't tell. It fit theme perfectly and felt comfortable and beautiful all night.

At first I was nervous about the length. I'm 5'-2" so in the end it wasn't as short on me as it might be on others, but at 42 I still wasn't sure I could pull off the shorter length. Once I paired it with jet black hosiery and black suede booties, I felt really confident and ready to hit the town. The cut is really flattering and if you have nice legs it really showcases them. My hubby and several of my friends were big fans. I received a lot of compliments and would absolutely rent this again.

This dress pulled triple duty at a wedding and two fundraising galas. It was easy to style in different ways so I didn't look like I was wearing the same thing over and over again. It runs a little large, I typically wear a 12 and was very comfortable in the 10. I wear a 34h bra and had no problems there either. It's very short though! At 5'2" I was very aware that my booty could show if I bent over the wrong way!

The fit was spot on. This dress is great for larger chested girls (like myself) with smaller waists; there's plenty of room to fit your girls in :) I also had no problem with the length of the dress, which was a concern for some in the reviews I read. I'm 5'5, and my bottom was covered with a little room to spare. I received compliments all night, and felt so great. Highly recommend!

I got so many compliments on this dress and I wish I got to keep it. It's a perfect dress for those who like short dresses and don't mind showing leg. It wasn't too tight and both the 2 and the 4 fit. I chose the 4 because it looked less worn in than the 2.

I loved this dress. This dress is perfect for the petite women. I normally wear a size 4 but wore the size 2. The length was perfect! Usually dresses are very long on me. Even short dresses. So for the taller women this dress would be very short.

I am 5'4 1/2", 120 lbs...and usually wear a size 2. After reading reviews, I ordered the 2 with a 0 back up. The zero fit around...but was WAY too short (and I have short legs!)! Luckily the 2 was a little longer so I went with that! Definitely can't bend over in it...it's a very "leggy" dress! Fun and flirty! I got a lot of compliments!

I wore this for a "Barristers Ball" at my law school; although it was a formal event, I wanted something shorter that would still stand out. I am only 4'11 and have a regular (but short!) build so the dress fit me well, although I could see where it might be too short on other people.

I got tons of compliments all night long. This rental was a steal- I think I only paid $30 for it. I was concerned about the condition of the dress, because it's been on RTR for awhile and has presumably been rented and worn many times. The two dresses I received were in very good condition and had no noticeable flaws! It may run a tad large. I rented the 2 & 4 because the 0 was not available. The 4 was way too big on me. The 2 fit, but was a bit loose. The 0 probably would have been a perfect fit, but the slightly loose 2 also worked well for this style of dress. My one caution would be that this dress is SHORT! I'm 5'4" so I was able to get away with it, but taller ladies may want to wear tights to avoid flashing people!

I wore this dress to a 20s themed wedding. I rented the 8 and the 10. The 8, though perhaps better fitting through the torso and hips, was very short on me, so I went with the 10. Was this the most flattering dress in the world on my body type (athletic/large chest/broad shoulders)? Maybe not. But it fit the theme perfectly and looked pretty for the wedding. The lace is beautiful, the dress is fun to dance in, and I received several compliments.
