This is an absolutely gorgeous dress! I stood out in a sea of black and everyone complimented me on the dress. I would love to have this a part of my wardrobe permanently!

It was very comfortable and was very flattering. It is a bit longer with the feathers so had to wear really high heels so it didn't look as frumpy. The pockets were an added bonus!

This was not only beautiful but extremely easy to wear. I wore a racerback bra and didn't need a slip because the skirt was full and had its own. The pockets were tucked into the pleats and who doesn't love pockets? I knew the length would be much longer on me than the model but that worked in my favor since I did not want to wear a floor length formal and the longer length looked very dressy, especially with the feathers. The fabric is heavy but flattering and has an embossed pattern that is hard to see in my photos, which are not the best. I was very pleased with this dress and was complimented all evening.

This dress was everything I was hoping for. The fabric was the perfect weight for a December wedding. I received compliments on the dress all nights and it was so comfortable. This is definitely on my rent again list. If Princess Kate can recycle so can I!

Gorgeous dress, and super fun with the feathers! I was so excited to rent this for a Valentine's Day wedding. It fit me perfectly.

While pear shaped, I can usually take an 8 or 10 with a fuller skirt. The 8 was not available, and my back up dress was a mix up (wrong dress, wrong size) so I wore the 10. I think the 8 would have been perfect, but the 10 was fine. Lovely color, loved the pockets, nice thick fabric. Great dress for a special occasion, even in a blizzard! Would definitely rent again, but in the 8

This dress was comfortable and fit true to size. The v neck was not too revealing so would be appropriate in any setting. Bottom feathers add fun and interest to the dress. An under skirting adds a bit of "poof" to make it more partyish. It even has pockets! The deep red color and brocade material were beautiful.

I wore a size 2, 0 would have been a perfect fit but it wasn't available in time. The quality was TOP notch and it was a huge hit! Classy, fun, and so comfortable. The invisible pockets came in super handy and no one could see my keys, speech, Chapstick, and phone when I walked down the aisle

I got so many compliments on this dress. A couple of people said it was the best dress at the whole event. The feathers make it so cool and unusual. I like too that it's modest but not frumpy. And, for gals with no hips, like me, it flatters our straight, athletic frames. I am normally a size 2 and based on the reviews that it runs big I ordered the size 2 and size 0 as a back up. The size 2 was very tight through my ribs. A little hard to breathe deeply. I didn't exchange it because it was bearable, but barely. So far the sizing on the RTR dresses have been very off. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, the dresses are beautiful!

Loved the dress! The feathers at the bottom were so elegant and a perfect conversation starter! I felt so comfortable and glamorous at the same time! Amazing! I would actually rent this one again!

Beautiful dress, heavy material - feathers on the bottom add a unique touch. I received multiple comments/compliments throughout the night - people I did not know came up and commented on the dress. I'm 5 foot 7 inches, 120 lbs - small on top and the size 2 fit just right. This was my back-up dress (I did not care for the other dress I had chosen) and I was extremely pleased with this choice.

This was just my back up dress so I never ended up wearing it, but it was not my style at all. The fit was big so it wasn't flattering, and the length is really not suited to shorter gals. It hits the model at the knee but for me it was mid calf. The neckline is so modest, and the fabric so heavy, and the length so long - it just adds up to a very conservative, old looking dress! But then it has the wacky, fun feathers which I loved. So overall a miss for me, but I can imagine it would look great on a model or someone very tall and straight.

I felt glamorous and received a ton of compliments in this dress. It covers enough that I felt appropriate wearing it around my co-workers, but it's still very flirty and fun. I'm curvy and usually wear a size 10-12, so I was surprised how much extra room I had on top; it's too bad that there wasn't an 8 available on my event date to try on. But the shape flattered my curves even if it was a little large. The only reason I'm not giving this the full 5 stars is that, as careful as I tried to be, it did leave a trail of red feathers everywhere I went, especially when standing up or sitting down.

RTR sent me this as an alternate to my two other dresses didn't fit correctly. I haven't made it to the event yet and I've gotten about 10 compliments just in the office. The dress has pockets, which I didn't realize - a nice bonus. I generally wear a 2 but the 0 fit perfectly on top. The pleating at the front of the skirt is a little funky - I sort of wonder if it makes my belly look poochy, but the skirt is so fun that I just don't care.

Material was thick and appropriate for a winter wedding. I loved the feather bottom. Probably to be expected, but there was a minimal amount of feather shedding.

The fit was true to size and the feather detail was beautiful. It felt comfrtable to dance in

I rented this for a "Fire and Ice" themed party, and I received a lot of compliments, including a suggestion that it looked like Katniss's fire dress from the Hunger Games. I really liked the heaviness of the fabric for a winter event, and the feathers on the bottom are a special touch.

The feathers are so much fun! I normally wear a size 4 but had no problem fitting into the size 2. Even though I have broad shoulders and tops are usually tight across the bust, the size 4 was a little large in the armholes and overall fit but the size 2 was perfect. I received so many compliments on this dress. The material is heavy but it was perfect for a December winter day in Denver when it was snowing. The waist was slightly empireish on me so the dress was fuller in the waist and stomach area. I wore the dress to a non-profit's holiday brunch where I was being sworn in as an officer. I was afraid it may be too dressy but it was perfect. It was tea length on me (I am 5'4"). Would definitely rent again! I have always had a perfect experience with RTR!

I decided to rent this dress as another option to a corporate event I was attending where I was getting recognized. I work for Nordstrom and these events are more like fashion shoes. Needless to say this dress was a knock out. All the girls were asking "who's the dress"? The color was a beautiful deep red wine, the fabric was heavy but luxurious and the pockets I loved and the feathers made it oh so couture!! I'm only 4'11 so the dress hit about 2" below the knee. So if you're short make sure to wear heels that are at least 4". I am actually looking to buy this dress. Yes I am obsessed.

The fit was great. The 4 fit, but was a bit snug in the breast area. However, if you are smaller on top, size down. There is plenty of room in the waist and hips of this dress, based on the shape. I went with the 6 and it was perfect, with hidden pockets as a fun bonus! The dress was a thicker material, which made it perfect for a fall wedding in western PA. I lost track on the number of compliments I received on this dress! It was a hit. Comfortable, fun, with a very rich feel to the material. I felt like a million bucks in this look! PS. feathers will fall off the dress.

I was so happy with the fit of this dress, although I do think it probably only works well on taller women due to the length and the volume of the skirt. It is incredibly comfortable and forgiving with pockets no less. People loved the feathers along the bottom and it really is a standout dress. Fantastic, highly, highly recommend!

It's very full but that somehow just made it feel glamorous. The feather trim is absolutely fabulous and the fit is very secure -- no worries about straps falling down or wardrobe malfunctions. Also, the material is extremely comfortable so you can feel like yourself, only better.

So, I opted for the other dress I rented for one reason--I felt like this dress made my belly look big. I carry my weight in my hips / thighs, not my belly so I was not happy about it. Having said that, I LOVE the dress---it was so comfortable, the material was really nice, and the feathery bottom made it fun. I so wanted to wear this as it is a very high quality, nice dress.

Ran a little large for a petite frame. Length and pockets on front of dress were a little long for me.

Flattering fit, lovely dress. Definitely for winter or fall, not summer or spring due to heavy brocade fabric. Perfect for the holidays.

I had rented this for an anniversary party but did not end up wearing it. I found it to look quite matronly. It is absolutely beautiful just didn't work for me.

Rented for my rehearsal dinner in the winter, but couldn't wear it. I'm petite and expected this to be long/tea length, but it was huge! I am pretty well proportioned even though I'm short, so I can get away with normal length dresses since my arms/legs make up for my height and torso being the worst culprit for my height. If I were taller this dress would have been my JAM. It is beautiful. Bummer.

Fit true to size. This dress was a bit "poofy" for my taste, but it was very elegant and unusual.
