I rented this dress for a work event. I'm glad I got the M as the small would have been WAY too short. Even with the M I had to be sure my spanx didn't show from the bottom. Loved the fact I could wear a regular bra.

I wore the dress for a night out in Vegas. The small perfectly and I felt sexy in it. This is a dress I would love to own and have hanging in my closet for the Go-To Beyonce "Freak'em Dress". The best part was I could wear a normal bra with it.

This dress is so pretty in person. The colors and sequins make quite a statement, but it is still comfortable. I would rent this all over again for NYE. A few important things to note: This dress runs small and short. I am very petite and usually wear an XS, but this XS was made to fit a small child. The small fit well, so I would definitely rent a size up. Secondly, the dress is actually designed differently than shown on the model. The straps don't come out wide on the shoulders and the back goes high up on the neck and doesn't come down in a V shape. I still loved the dress, but I am not sure why the model is wearing a different dress than what they are sending.

As a petite, I'm used to having trouble with dresses, and this was no exception. The hip/thigh fit was a problem- there is NO stretch to the bottom of this dress. I went 2 sizes up from my normal dress size! I returned the P and only a M was left in stock, so I asked that to be sent overnight to me. The M was large on top so I had to pin it a bit in back, but this was hidden by my hair anyway.

No complaints, it was a little tight in the bust and I had to size up - but otherwise, I loved it!

I love this dress in person...there is so much going on with the sequin but the cut of the dress is so simple that its not too busy. It is comfortable and allows room for movement. Some sequin dresses are stiff and uncomfortable but this is just the opposite. Beware tall girls! It is super short...Tights and booties would be a fun look with this.

I didn't actually wear this dress for my event - luckily I ordered two and the other fit better than this one. But I did try it on and was surprised to find that it was really tight through the hips on my figure, and since it's heavily beaded and sequined it doesn't have any stretch. It does run short like the photo shows - I don't think a L would have fit me better because I was swimming in the top half of the dress in a M.

Perfect for the occasion! I was a little worried about dancing, but the dress was surprisingly comfortable considering all the sequence. True to size and wasn't too short.

This dress was great, and overall fit true to size, however it has no stretch whatsoever, so I sized up in order so my chest wasn't squished. Its short, but appropriate for this type of dress.

I was a bit bummed when this dress was delivered to me. I was planning on wearing it to my brother's rehearsal dinner and when it came in the mail the day before it was completely torn down the back of the dress from top to bottom. I had to then go find a dress that morning before the rehearsal to wear. Needless to say, I wasn't able to wear the dress because of the ripe down the back.

If you are between an XS and a S.. go with the small. It fit me really well. Got many compliments!

I loved this dress! Super fun and unique and extremely well made. The lining inside is very tight while the outside with the sequins is a little looser. It's loose at the waist and tight (very tight) at the hips, making it flattering for someone who is less curvy (IE boyshaped) like me. The other reviews do not lie it's very tight at the hips and very short. I'm just shy of 5'7" and narrow in the hips for my weight and height. I wear a 2 in most designer dresses and a 0 or even 00 at J crew. In a small this dress BARELY fit me; it only just fit over my hips and was right over the border for appropriate length. Any smaller or shorter and I couldn't have worn it. Honestly, if I'd gotten the medium I might've worn that instead.

I was looking for a dress that was a bit more sexy than the ones I usually go for. I loved that the dress had a v-neck that went low enough to be sexy, but not so low that I had to be nervous about a wardrobe malfunction all night. It is a bit tight and has really no stretch in it. I would recommend going with a size larger. As I am only five feet tall, I liked that it was short on me and didn't go past my knee. If you are taller than 5 foot 3, it might be a concern about being quite short. Anyways, I would love to rent it again!

Great party dress, not too short but shows enough leg

I'm tall, and long waisted, and the small did not even cover my tush when I was standing up! The medium was ok, would have been fun for a night out with my husband or girlfriends, but definitely not ok for a conservative event. It went about an inch past my butt. The dress was sparkly and fun and pretty. It fits pretty loose, but I liked that. It made it a little more fun and playful. The biggest difference between the S and M was the length, so if you need a little length, size up. I'm hoping to rent it again someday! (When I'm feeling brave! And prepared with a good pair of black bikini underwear!)

Loved the dress and the for, but wasn't right for the occasion. It would be a great New Year's dress or party dress

This dress runs really small so unfortunately I was unable to wear it. Medium in a dress like this would usually fit me perfectly. Unfortunately, it would not even zip, and there was not a large in stock at the time of my event. Even so I would not be sure that it would have fit. My roommate tried it on out of curiosity, she is around 5'7", maybe 120lb, very thin and a small bust, the medium just fit her, which was surprising because she would have ordered a small, just to give another perspective.

More of a shift dress, than a bodycon fit.

This dress is absolutely wonderful and the pictures don't do it justice. I wore this for a holiday party and it was a huge hit. I got a ton of compliments on it and everyone thought it was beautiful! It isn't tight in the stomach at all but if you have a bigger bust I would suggest going up a size. I went up to a large so that I could wear a push up bra and feel comfortable.

I ordered this for a party and was so sad that it did not fit as it is stunning to say the least. This dress is very very short and also runs small. I am a size 8 in dresses and the Large was very tight around my bum and barely covered my butt. If you are shorter and smaller in size then this is the dress for you. Sadly, not for taller curvy gals.

I ordered this dress in a small and a medium, but something went wrong with my order and the medium wasn't available so only the small shipped, which I knew probably wouldn't fit after reading reviews. I couldn't get the size small over my hips/butt so that tells you how small it runs (I usually order size 4 from RTR). It is a gorgeous dress in person and I wish I could have worn it.

Great dress, nice silhouette. I'm normally a small or x-small and this dress was SKIN tight and mini mini. Order up 2 sizes.

The dress was overall tight, especially in the bust. But the real problem was the length. It was so short I would be uncomfortable to wear it in public. I am so thankful that this was my back-up dress. Also, not good for a formal affair. It would be appropriate for a High School semi-formal.

at 5'10'' this dress did not even cover my butt. ridiculously short. perhaps fine if you're 5'3'', but over 5'8'' - beware.

I am almost always a small or size 2 in dresses. I ordered the S and XS in this dress, and couldn't even get the small over my hips! Very very small with no stretch. Such a shame, because the dress really is beautiful.

I am usually in between a size 10 and 8 and this dress was so tiny I couldn't even it put it over my hips. I wouldn't recommend ordering it if you have boobs or hips or are bigger than a size 6. But it's gorgeous if you can put it on!

The dress was very short...2 short for a wedding...maybe for a fun night out in Vegas...But I would still feel uncomfortable in Vegas...oh and I am only 5'4. The sequins are exactly as pictured in the model. The dress was not heavy ... And fit like a shift...but way 2 short. It would work with black tights..but not for a wedding!
