This dress is a bright, cherry red that has good structure, strong material, and can cover many problem areas. It fit very securely up top which is my usual concern and the draping feature it has in front can cover up any bit of a pooch one may have. It was kind of tight across the hips, but not to where it deterred me from wearing it. The material is thick and sturdy, but not in an upholstered-like stiff way, but rather in a durable kind of way. I received tons of compliments in this dress and danced the night away in it!

Ordered sizes 4 and 6 in case the 4 ran small, but I ended up wearing the 4 after all. It fit perfect everywhere. I have a small bust, so if you're bigger you might want to go a size up :) Paired it with nude heels and RTR's "Whiting & Davis Mesh Frame Clutch Gold"

Fits well and has nice "straps" inside to help the dress stay up so you aren't constantly pull it up all night. Drapping across the front is very flattering and not obviously done to hide problem areas.

The fit run small thru the middle, but upsizing affected the bust fit. The top slid down several times, so have fashion tape on hand.

This dress fit like a glove and the rich, red color was gorgeous. Easy to wear with a strapless bra without any issue. It is form-fitting but the draping makes sure it doesn't look tight or unflattering- it runs a little small so going a size up will make sure it doesn't look small. The sweetheart neckline is really sexy. Lots of fun in this dress!

I rented my size and the size up for this dress as recommended as it does run small in the hips/legs. I ended up wearing the size up to be comfortable. The bust was a bit large on me but it still worked well. Being a little taller, the length worked great as well.

According to reviews I thought I would fit a 2 or 4 but had to get a 6. It's restricting but I was still able to dance the night away. I loved this dress!!

This was my first rental from RTR, and I am so happy with my experience. I ordered a 10 and a 12 after reading the reviews, and just as the others said, it was a little tight in the hips, and having a large bust I went with the 12 - a perfect fit. I felt classy and beautiful but still had room to dance and eat lots of yummy food. Can't say enough about it--it's a gorgeous dress and I would love to wear it again.

I ordered the 4 and 6 based on other reviews saying the dress was super tight. I found the 4 to fit me perfectly! Tight through the legs and butt and the draping on the front of the dress was very flattering. You could tell the fabric was a little worn. Since I didn't end up wearing the 6 it wasn't a big deal, but the size 6 dress had a tear in the side of the dress near the seam.

I rented 2 dresses for the affair, the other was Nicole Miller "Make him regret it" in size 4 which fit true to size. I read the reviews for this dress thankfully & rented a 4 and 6 to be sure. The 4 was too tight in the hips through thigh area for my shape & would have been uncomfortable dancing and moving around. The bust I thought was quite large (made ideally for a size C) I have a small chest so I'm use to this in fitted dresses with no elastic or give in them. I wore a strapless bra to compensate, which worked nicely. Thank you RTR!

I wore this dress for Homecoming this year, and it worked out wonderfully! The fit was great, and I felt great in it as well. I would definitely recommend it.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress! It fit so perfectly, I got a size 2 and 4 because I wasn't sure of the fit but I didn't have to worry because this dress fits true to size. I wore this dress to homecoming and got so many compliments on it from everyone! Especially my boyfriend! :) I would definitely rent from rent the runway again, it was such a great experience!

This was my second time using RTR (and second time renting this dress as well!...there were no pictures from last time, so I didn't get to review with a photo)...It was a little tight, but nothing moved and it wasn't uncomfortably tight. For someone who is self conscious about their belly, the way the material fell in the front was perfect! The entire RTR system was perfect, so easy to use. I've used it twice now, and can't wait to use it again!!

This dress was beautiful and well made. I stood out from all the black clothes and really felt beautiful. I did the "Stylist Surprise" and they sent the Badgley Mischka Crystal Cluster Necklace. It went perfect with the dress for this holiday season! Fit notes: I usually wear a size 4 in RTR (thus far) but it was too snug in the hip/bum area (I have an athletic bubble butt). There is just no give in the fabric, so go up if you have any booty or are even a slight pear shape. I had to settle with the 6, although this was too big in the chest area. LOVE RTR and already have my New Year's Eve dresses rented!

this dress was literally perfect. I wore it to a wedding and it fit like a dream. I received so many compliments. very flattering. The color is such a radiant red and there is subtle flower pattern. I am curvy in my hips and tush and it fit me great. Cant wait to use RTR again in a couple weeks!

Wore this dress to a stylish Chicago wedding and it stood out in a sea of black. Loved the fit (but it is very form-fitting, so know that going in), the color, and the fabric (which is thick, but being strapless and short, it wasn't too hot for the summer). True to size and no need for a bra. Very comfortable to dance in. Loved it!

Loved, loved, loved this dress!!! My goal was to knock my boyfriend on the floor with it, and it definitely did that. He couldn't take his hands off me. It was comfortable, and I felt like a million bucks.

I am not usually a girl to wear red but decided to spice things up for my valentines day dinner with my fiancee. I am so glad I did. The dress was gorgeous! You cant tell from the picture but the detailed lace on the dress is amazing. I felt so good in this dress and it gives the illusion of a flat tummy so I ate and drank without worrying about feeling or looking bloated.

I wore this to a wedding and it was a hit! Appropriate length for a conservative wedding (it hit just above my knees), and the fabric is so unique and fun. It was perhaps a bit loose around the bust, so for that reason I probably could have gone down a size. If you have a small bust, consider sizing down for your 2nd size.

I wore this to a semi-formal event and received many compliments! The color is bold, but the sweetheart neckline, damask, and ruching soften it a little bit. I loved it! Regarding the fit, I am somewhat top heavy (chest and midsection) compared with my bottom half, but this size four felt a tiny bit snug all over. I wore spanx with it and it LOOKED fabulous (just FELT a little tight).

This is the perfect strapless dress for a woman with a chest: It hugs your curves in all the right places, and doesn't make you look like a tube. It was a little tight around my hips, but the folds hide everything.The fabric is so beautiful, people were complimenting it all night. I didn't want to send it back!

Those of you who said it runs a tinch large on the top would be correct. I'm blessed with a 32DD, and I still had to make sure the top wasn't sagging at times. It was such a perfect dress though. If you want to show others you're gorgeous and confident about it, this is the dress. It hides any stomach issues and is just plain flattering. Of course I have to include that my boyfriend said I looked gorgeous in that dress. *sidenote: I'm not pregnant in this picture, just playing a joke on my bf :)

I rented this dress and the Catherine Malandrino Modern Queen Dress (as a backup) for my friends wedding in San Francisco. Per the size chart, I rented a 4 and a 2 (in case I was feeling skinny that night). The 4 was alright, but it did feel large, everything was just a little bit too loose. The 2 fit better as it was more form fitting and fit my curves better. The dress was an absolute hit and was a nice pop of color in a sea of black. The Malandrino dress was even more fabulous than the Reese dress but it was a bit too sexy for a wedding. I plan on renting the Malandrino dress again later this month for my birthday. This was my first time renting for RTR and now it's my go-to site for any major occasion :)

I thought this dress was very pretty, and I received many compliments on it. I rented two dresses for a wedding weekend and ended up wearing this one to the rehearsal dinner because it was rather tight in the hips (size 6) and thought that might detract from my dancing at the wedding. I got a size 8 as the backup, but thought it looked a bit too baggy in the waist and bust. I'm a 32F and am about 38 inches in the hips. Overall I thought the dress was fairly comfortable (minus some tightness in the hips) and very flattering.

Torn between giving this 3 or 4 stars, it probably should be a 3 but I looked hot in it so I'm giving it 4 stars :) Ordered the 2 and the 4. IF YOU ARE BUSTY BEWARE!! I am a 32G and I didn't realize that there is a band at the bottom of the bust, making the bust area very well defined and making this dress look BOOBY. I wore it to a wedding and for the church portion I wore a cardigan because I felt like it was inappropriate. The dress has this draping across the stomach that is probably great if you have a little pooch and want to hide it, but I am pretty thin and the 4 just had way too much fabric and made me look bigger than I really am. I ended up going with the 2. Also, maybe just from overwear, but the top of the dress kept on flipping over, so that the inside was on the outside. No amount of fashion tape could fix it and after a few drinks I didn't care anymore, but it was still frustrating.

Very vibrant red with flattering detailing on the front. Runs a bit tight in the rear, be careful when bending down. All around, great dress. Received many compliments throughout the night!

It's sort of hard to tell in the photo, but it fit perfectly! And RTR only had size 4 left when I ordered, so I sort of took a chance, but it turned out fine. It was definitely tight-fitting, but not uncomfortable- I could still dance! :) I've never worn red before and I got a bunch of compliments.

The fit is tricky. I have large ribs that always make me run higher in dress sizes to get around my ribs. But I also have a small chest so usually find dresses big in that area. This dress was not! This is great for me but probably not for the average woman. It is a tricky one to zip. I had to zip in the front and shimmy it to the side. There is not a back zip like the description says. Overall, I was really happy with the material (it held up to lots of dancing) and the way I felt in the dress, the material was forgiving and seemed to work well for a formal summer wedding.

It definitely ran small, so order a size up.

The cut of the dress is SUPER flattering, and the pleats make it low maintenance (read: no ironing required). It runs a tad small, so size up for your back-up size (particularly if you have a bust). The color and texture are fabulous, and I got TONS of compliments.

The dress definitely ran small and the zipper got stuck a lot, I fit into my back up size but just barely!! Also the detail in the front of the dress pooches out a lot, so it makes you look like you have a belly when you don't! But definitely a gorgeous and sexy dress and I got lots of compliments on the color!

I rented this dress as a backup, but ended up wearing if because my husband loved it :) What the other reviewers said is true, the hips/butt are very tight. I don't even have hips (have a very boyish/athletic body) and this was a workout to get on. Once it was on, everything was good...but going to the potty was a bit of a challenge, ha. The chest area in this dress is not the most flattering and I had to wear a strapless bra to get a good shape up top. I think part of what was due to the fact that the boning in the dress is clearly worn out from so many wears...but the fabric and look of the dress were still topnotch. If you have any sort of hip/booty, I would order a size up.

My only problem is that I lost a couple of lbs not intentionally before the event so I was a bit smaller than a size 4 and had to keep pulling my dress up. The colour is amazing! I'm usually an 8 but sized up based on reviews, I ordered a 10 and a 12 just in case. The 10 looked great but felt soooo tight at my hips, the 12 was way too big on top and didn't really flatter my curves. I opted to go with the 10 and throughout the night the dress started to stretch little by little so I wasn't worried that I'd bust out of it. An 8 would've prob fit me better up top w/o a bra so I had to wear one with the 10 for support. Had to readjust the top a lot during the night but it was fine. The dress made me feel beautiful and confident and was perfect for the wedding.

Like most of the reviews said this dress runs small and so I ordered my size which is a 4 and one size up which is a 6. Now this dress has absolutely NO STRETCH so I felt like a mummy in the 4. The 6 was still snug but a whole lot more comfortable. I got a lot of compliments and a lot of "likes" on FB. This is my first time renting and the entire rental process was quite pleasant and easy and seeing that I hardly ever wear a dress twice renting makes shopping a whole lot more economical. I will definitely do this again.

I wore this to a grad school formal event. The color was perfect and I loved the textured fabric. The fit was good too - I never had any problems with it falling down even though I was doing a lot of dancing. The only reason I took a star off is that the size 4 dress they shipped me had a tear in the back which essentially extended the slit up to a point wear the dress was no longer wearable. Thankfully I ended up wearing the larger size, so it didn't matter. Also, the fabric was slightly worn looking, but you really couldn't tell unless you were up close, and I guess that's what you get for wearing a used dress. Overall, great first experience with RTR!
