This dress is dreamy! I wanted to love it but the fit was just not right for me. It was way too tight in the hips and the buttons gapped terribly- I had to pin it shut. The bust area was huge and top torso too long- I could have taken two inches out of the shoulder. This made the back part of the top really baggy as well. I did some clever pinning and wore shape-wear to make it work but this is definitely best for someone straight in the hips and long in the torso.

LOVED the fit and movement of this dress. It hugged in all the right places but the fabric and print was very flattering overall. Definitely buttoned up enough to wear in a professional setting, but fun enough to wear out after work. The mermaid hem has a nice flutter to it when you walk. Will rent again.

I'm usually a size 4 and ordered a size 4. I am pear shaped and the dress was slightly more fitted at my hips but it didn't affect the look of the dress IMO. The fabric is gorgeous and the dress is a bit more green than it looks in the photo - which I loved! I worked it with white mules and then threw on white sneakers in the afternoon and loved it both ways!

Wore it just for a regular day, so cute, comfortable and flattering, looks great in the hips, butt and waist and tucks it all in nicely.

Loved this dress as a concept: the print, cut and style are amazing. But for a curvier woman, the dress felt like it could use a bit more fabric near and around the buttons so it didn't feel so stretched.

I wanted this dress to work, but it didn't. I sized up based on reviews. Due to the larger size, it was incredibly baggy in the chest area and looked unflattering.

Got tons of compliments but I have a short torso and not the flattest stomach. Dress was Bunchy in the trunk and buttons gapped a bit. Covered the bunching with a wide belt. If you are taller and less curvy this is a great pick.

Fits true to size, however the middle button on the waist pulls, even though it was loose around the waist standing, it pulls when you sit. I would suggest a little safety pin

In some lighting found it had a drank blue tone to it, but it was definitely green in most light. The length and fit was great, giving you pencil skirt lines with fun skirt flare!

I thought this dress would be a little silly, but it ended up being one of my favorite rentals. I found the cut flattering and the style very fun. I sized up based on reviews and it ended up being a little loose even though I'm curvy through the hips, but I still thought it looked excellent. Very hard to return.

Fits just right, creates a nice silhouette

I'm usually a size 6-8 and when I saw that this dress wasn't available in my size I was sad I wasn't going to be able to wear it to Christmas dinner BUT as mentioned in the reviews, it runs super small. I ordered the 10 and it actually fit very well. It wasn't tight enough to be super form fitting but it fit so that you could tell where my curves are. I have big boobs, smaller waist and bigger hips and it was perfect so definitely go a size up!

I followed other reviewers' advice and sized up. Fit perfectly! The construction of this dress is impeccable, SO high end. Wish I could afford to buy it!

True to size, fits me perfectly. I am a 32 DD and it didn't pull at all around the bust. Hangs well on my body and fits snug it all the right places. You can in button it for a sexier look or button up for professional. :)

When I first put this on, I was really unsure how to style - the top is bigger and less shapely than I would normally wear. However, after seeing the full-body result, styled with brown booties and gold hoop earrings, I was pleased! The mermaid style is really beautiful. Basically, this looks exactly like you would expect in the picture.

Loved the dress! Lot's of compliments. However, the one I received had a little vertical rip near the buttons around the hips. It's narrow through that area so I understand how that could happen. Also, I thought this dress was navy, it's actually green with navy, white, and red stripes.

I actually felt like this ran a little big. I'm a true 0 and it was large all over. It felt intentional not sloppy though. Also FYI the main color of the fabric is dark green. I assumed it was navy from the pictures and was surprised.

I normally go between a 4 (things that at my top) and a 6 (bottom half). And read the reviews to order up. I thought I would just stay at a 6 and it was definitely large on me and I am someone that is very hip centric.

This is a great dress you can wear to the office or on the weekends but I should have read reviews saying it ran small. It fit when I was standing, a little tight but fine. Once you go to sit down, if it is tight at all the buttons will gap all the way down the middle. I'll be returning for the next size up so I can actually wear it!

Hoping this comes in a 12 because the 10 was just a little too snug for a full work day.

The buttons pull some along the waistline esp when you sit so that wasn't the most flattering. They also didn't feel very secure as the button holes appeared to be stretched some from wear from other clients but overall cute item.

Super flattering and interesting fit. The colors are perfect for fall. It appears navy but is actually a really cool teal/green.

The print is really quite pretty and versatile and the shape of the dress is so unique and flattering. I could tell it would be very comfortable to wear had it actually fit me in the right places. Unless you are tall and slim, I don't see how this could work for you as the torso area is extremely and disproportionately tight. Shame I did not end up wearing it.

Man, I'm sad I didn't get to wear this. This dress was even better looking in person. Too bad I couldn't get it to button around my waist. It was brand new with tags, but there was a slight hidden tear near two buttons, as I put it on (or tried to), I could see why. Clearly, someone else had tried it on and it didn't quite fit them either. I ordered a 10, it fit nicely everywhere except across my waist. If you don't have any belly and are small in the waist, stick with your standard size. Otherwise, size up. Like, way up.

If you are a curvy girl the bottom of the dress might now fit well on your hips. This dress fit me from the waist up but not from this hips down.

Despite the other reviews about being tight in the waste and hips I did not experience that issue.

Was really looking forward to this dress, but unfortunately the waist area only works for those slim waisted ladies. Even with shapewear, couldn't make the dress work.

Beautiful pattern and cut but far too small around the middle

I was so excited to rent and wear this Tome dress to a business formal evening event, but the fit of the dress is quite strange. The shoulder area and bust are true to size, if not large, but the stomach area is so tight that my seams were bursting. It was quite disproportionately sized. If you have tiny hips and a flat waist, this may work for you, but it was a very odd fit for me.
