Really comfortable, stylish/unique, lots of compliments

The cut on this is so edgy. Very unusual and quite flattering! Reviews suggested it's true to size, so I ordered my usual medium. I don't know if it was shrunk, but the buttons are barely holding on. Luckily the neat wrap perfectly covers all the buttons. However, sitting may be a challenge. If you're walking around the office, no problem. I still feel the large would have been too big.

I rented it for work, but it was a little short for that. Great dress, though, so repurposed for a date night. The wrap is flattering and comfortable at the same time; can't lose!

The fit was very good. Not too small or big on me though since im short the asymmetrical hem was almost too long. Very simple and chic and easy to dress up or down. I liked that the sash could be worn loose or tight depending on how you want the dress to fit. A great peice.

Loved this for date night! It was kind of pretty but with an edge. At first while putting it on I thought the small would be too tight but once fully buttoned and tied it was the perfect size. Will rent again

Awesome dress!!! A great addition to your unlimited order. The dress is fitted and has a great wrap on the waist to cinch. It was more of a deep charcoal vs black, so it worked well for a daytime function I attended. The dress could easily be for a casual event, work day, date night etc. Only con - I am tall and the dress was almost too short. Otherwise, awesome style and fit!

I am probably going to re-rent this and keep it for longer. The only con is that it's slightly confusing to steam!

I rented this dress for a dinner date out of town. I was a little nervous about the buttons all the way down, but the wrap covers almost all of them save one or two at the bottom and one or two at the top. It DEFINITELY makes the dress much more wearable when you don't have to worry about catching a button on something and having a malfunction of some kind! the first layer was a teensy bit short when I sat down, but that just meant I had to cross at the ankle and keep my napkin over my lap. I really enjoyed wearing this piece, it has great stretch to the fabric and I found that it hit me in all the right spots, the wrap disguised any tummy issues and the asymmetry made it more interesting than just another little black dress! This is my third rental from RTR and my third success!

mayybbeee could have worn the small...just a tad big. size down if you're not sure! Everywhere i wore this dress women were complimenting me. at the event i was at the told me if there was an award for best dressed it would be mine!

I worn this dress to work and totally love it. The fabric has stretch in it which I loved, it made it super comfy. The side wrap detail just really makes this dress, it also makes it work appropriate. I will be renting this again.

I had not heard of this designer, and now I'm a fan. The dress was really comfortable, and well made. I will probably rent this one again soon, because it is one of the dresses which is perfect for everyday!

I love love love this dress! It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a dress. The asymmetric hem created by the panels that tie is unique and fun. I paired it with a slip on sneaker for a more casual look, but it can also be dressed up with a heel.

Love that the cotton fabrication makes it more casual. Its like a shirt dress with a wrap. Super comfortable and different. Not the best dress to show off your figure. Have gotten so many compliments already. Gotta do the shoe right!

Amazing black chic and modern dress! This outfit is a great fit for the chic downtown city girl who is going out for a cocktail party or dinner with friends! The tie in the front adds a modern twist and converts the classic Little Black Dress into a trendy look. This dress fit me really well and had comfortable room in the hips I would pair this dress with a sleek pair of heels and statement earring.

Loved that the shape of this dress. Only issue is the wrap around portion kept shifting throughout the day. Got many compliments. Went from work to date!

Fit was perfect.

I'm usually a small to medium but the medium fit perfectly. Came very wrinkled so allow time when ordering to get it pressed. I got so many compliments on the dress and I really liked it a lot. Ran a bit longer in the back then I expected and I'm 5'8". If you're shorter it could be an issue. Overall I loved the dress and would rent it again!

I love the look and the fit of this dress. I got a lot of compliments and head turns. The inside layer is a little short when you sit down and if you're short like me if you don't wear heels the long back can make you look stubby.

This dress is amazing but I should have sized up to a large. The buttons were all gaping because my butt and boobs were too much for the medium. I still wore the dress because the wrap does a great job of covering up the buttons. The dress kept riding up as I walked, but again I think this had to do with the size. The material is stretchy and comfortable. I received numerous compliments throughout the day!

This runs a little large, but with the tie waist, you can make it more fitted. I wore to work with a pair of nude heels and then dressed it down a little with strappy sandals for dinner after work. Very versatile. Compliments all day!

A bit tight in the underneath but the over piece covers up any lack of fit

The dress wasn't hugely flattering on me because I don't have enough of a waist; therefore, all of the bunching around the waist from the ties made it so I looked somewhat rectangular from the front (and even from the sides, which is odd given that I have a booty). However, this dress isn't worn to flatter so much as just be a cool, casual dress on its own accord, and it was just that. Under the wrap it's pretty much a dress-shirt-material button up dress, and this part was a tad too tight and short for me, but not enough that it looked bad or that someone near me could tell. I styled this with suede, maroon pointy toe wedges, and a cool choker (buttons the buttons all the way up).

Cool asymmetric fit. Pairs well with statement shoes, and then you look like a model.

I started out feeling great in this dress, but as the day went on, my enthusiasm faded. I got very few compliments (petty, I know), but more than that, because it is unlined, it began to look and feel very rumpled. Note: the short side is very short, probably inappropriate for many offices.

Unfortunately this dress smelled weird when I got it, but I let it air out for a while and it got better. The fit was great. As others have said - since the fabric is stretchy it definitely needs the drape of the layer of fabric over the buttons otherwise it looks like it's pulling. That said, I wore this twice during a work trip and felt so professional but trendy! Great dress.

I highly recommend going a size up. I'm typically a size 6 and picked the Medium because it should fit anywhere from a 6-8, but this was too fitted and ultimately changed the structure of the dress. I received many compliments throughout my work day, which made me feel awesome, but just wish I had gone with a bigger size. I feel like I didn't do the dress justice!

Button down blouse dress with a cool twist. Loved this dress.

I absolutely loved this dress. The shirt portion was a little short for work, but the wrap made up for it. Side note: for those with larger hips (like me) I had a little button gaping towards the bottom, but the wrap portion covered it. Just consider that when choosing a size! Will totally rent again and again and again

I wore this dress to work in early September and really liked it. It was a very busy day and I didn't get the chance to take a photo, but I thought the style was very flattering in addition to being comfortable and holding its shape all day. I would rent this again for work and believe it's a good choice to dress up with heels and jewelry for a professional function.

Wore her twice on Unlimited and felt chic and put together at work without being uncomfortable or fussy. It's an interesting cut and a perfect length for 5'6. Short enough to feel a tiny bit sexy but not so much to feel concerned about. Appreciated the fit around the armhole- doesn't gape open or show your bra at the side. Fabric is like a button down dress shirt on the more casual end of the spectrum. could be dressed up or down - felt right at work and at riverside cocktails.

Love this! Professional with a flair. I sized down but should have just stayed with my regular size and it would have been perfect! I still wore it and it was still appropriate for work with the wrap. Very forgiving.
