I felt a little too serious and conservative in this one, but it was nice and professional

Omggggg I really did not want to return this dress! I wore it for a work conference and got so many compliments. Quality fabric and fit was perfect. I can’t wait to try other Thakoon pieces.

Beautiful quality fabric with a heavy silk feel. Nips in at the waist and fit nicely everywhere. Great work or day dress. Cute with knee-high boots too.

This was so cute. I loved the soft cotton and that the tailored look cinched it at the waist without restricting me at all!! Got so many compliments on it, too :)

It was cute and comfortable. It definitely fits loose around the waist area but the sleeves are very tight so would not recommend sizing down. Overall a nice dress for work

The quality of this dress is great, but it just didn’t work for me. I added a belt to try to improve the fit, and it still felt a little big. Might be a better fit for someone with a bigger chest than me.

I manage a wedding venue so always looking for new dresses to wear to work. This is perfect for fall. Not sure if I’ll buy but will definitely wear more than once. First RTR rental!

I chose this dress because it is breastfeeding friendly. I think it runs a little large to be honest. It was a tad more casual than I thought (has a crisp, cotton feel) but in pictures looks great!

I liked that this dress could be buttoned either all the way up or you could also leave the top button undone for a slightly less conservative feel. It is very flattering.

This was a great dress for work, great colors, fit perfect.

Fit me perfectly in the shoulders/arms (I have broad shoulders and long arms), but was a little loose in the waist. It still looked cute for a work dinner and was very comfortable.

Nice shape and material. I got a size larger than I wanted so of course it was a little big on me but still looked good. The arms seem perfectly fine to me (another review said something about them being too small)

Great special office dress!

My normal size 10 was a little big on me but I don't mind that for the office. I wore this multiple times to work and then once from work to a wine tasting. I love this color, it's a blue that is almost purple. I'm 5'3 so it nearly reached my knees (I like decent coverage when I'm in the office). The cinched waist is flattering. I agree with reviews that the arms seem to be less roomy compared to the rest of the dress. I would consider buying this as it is very professional, unique, easy to wear, and I received many compliments on it.

But I do wish it were lined.

Great fit - petite

This was comfortable but long and big.

This was fine. It runs big — I’m currently 158lbs postpartum and usually wearing a 10, but the 8 had some room to spare. It is super flattering, but otherwise nothing about it was “exciting”. It felt like a perfectly passable work dress but nothing more.

I felt pulled together wearing this dress. But it's lightweight and super comfortable. It's a classic shirt dress. The hem line worked well; it didn't look frumpy yet gave me the right coverage.

Was cute for work but wish it was more fitted in the waist

I felt this ran large through the body, which combined with fitted sleaves didn't work. A belt didn't really help either. Sizing down probabaly would have helped, but I'm not sure I could make the arms work then. Very comfortable and the material is lovely.
