I was hesitant to get this based on what the others had said about the tight hem around the thighs. Luckily for me I was able to get it around my booty for a great shape/fit and it was just snug enough around the thighs where i could still walk! The fabric is not stretchy at all so order up a size just to be safe. I had to wear a compression bra to fit in the 10 as a 38D.

This dress was perfect for a night out. The print is even better in person! Was a little bit tight in the bust area and fitted throughout the dress but overall very true to size.

I rented this for my brother's graduation dinner, and it was a big hit. The pattern is colorful and fun, and the cut is very flattering (although there was a bit of excess fabric in the bodice). My only issue is that it was a bit longer than I like - I'm 5'0" and it hit at my kneecaps, rather than just above the knee like I was hoping for. Overall, though, it was a definite success!

Wore this to a baby shower with a Kenneth Jay Lane statement necklace and it was beautiful. Better for someone a bit taller and long-waisted (I am short-waisted and it gathered a bit in the back) but it was lovely and I got many compliments. Very elegant and charming,.

Bought this in the clearance sale and can't wait to wear it! Fits me just perfectly. Since it is silk, I will most likely wear spanx underneath but a love the way it fits and drapes.

I wore this dress for a party celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth. I wore black shoes and a beautiful cream hat that I draped a black scarf around the brim. (All women were asked to wear hats for the party.) I received many compliments on the dress. It was cool that evening so I also wore an black shawl draped over my shoulders.

This was my backup dress - huge relief that I had it since my original dress didn't fit. The print is very beautiful and the fit is very comfortable. The hem is fairly tight so it does somewhat impact your ability to go up and down stairs but it was very manageable. Its a very thin fabric and the draping at the side is flattering.

Wore this for the rehearsal dinner to my girlfriend's Napa wedding. Absolutely amazing! Material was silky and light weight. Print was very slimming and the front folds gave a little extra room for dessert and wine!! Would definitely rent again!! Love this site :)

I wore this to my bridal shower and got a bunch of compliments. I loved the way it fit - wasn't too constricting and covered up my muffin top. Awesome dress, I'd recommend it to anyone!

This was my back up dress but I ended up liking it better on than my first choice Nanette Lepore Bali Flare dress. It was comfortable and fit well and was very flattering, especially in the mid-section area. It was a little tight in the chest so if you're concerned about that, I would recommend ordering up. Otherwise, I agree with other reviewers that the dress itself is prettier in real life than the photo.

Very pretty print. I agree with another reviewer that the back does pucker up above the waist.\ - fabric is thin silk I thought it also ran a bit big.

I wore this dress to a daytime party and it was beautiful. The fit was a little strange at first but really grew on me and gives the dress an interesting twist.

i rented this dress for a conservative catholic wedding. unfortunately, i won't be wearing it and have returned it. it is a beautiful fabric and print, but it's very thin, and has a TINY bit of stretch (but i think this is a characteristic of good silk anyway). the bottom hem is VERY narrow. i don't think that it's a very good fit for girls with larger hips and an hourglass figure. I didn't feel comfortable attempting to zip up the 6, and i was unable to get the hem over my hips in the 8 (they're not abnormally large, either), so i had to awkwardly step in through the zippered area, shimmy it up as high around my hips as i could, and duck my head in. when i zipped it up, it was great! true to size, comfortable... i was worried about sitting down, but somehow the cut worked. it's very forgiving in the midsection due to the off-center gather, and would definitely hide any potential little pooch you might have. however, seeing as i was unable to get it over my hips, i wouldn't have been able to go to the bathroom without taking the entire dress off in the awkward fashion it went on. overall, gorgeous silk dress, but, unless you're planning to not hit the bathroom after you've put it on, not practical for curvy or hourglass figures, in my opinion.

I ended up returning this dress because the bottom (at the hem) was very tight. More so than it normally would be. I do have hips, so maybe that was why.
