Unique, versatile and lightweight overnight bag. Too large to double as a pool/beach bag (which I initially intended) and not large enough for more than a 2-3 day trip. I used it as my carryon bag in place of a normal rolling suitcase (in addition to a checked bag, for a longer summer vacation). I was able to fit all the essentials. The bag is soft, windbreaker like unstructured material so adapts to odd/large shaped items like heels/wedges or a laptop case. There is a small outer pocket and small mesh pockets inside. Would definitely recommend for your beach weekends!

Loved the pattern and color pallet of this bag. I usually wear black or grey to work so I carried this to a few meetings as a pop of color. It was a little large for a work bag and only has one interior zip pocket. Would be a great weekender bag for a quick trip.

Rented this for a fun gym bag switch up, but it's HUGE and would make a great weekender. Wish it had some more compartments and the straps are a little slippery, but a great fun bag.

Used it as a carry on and then again when we went on our excursion. It fit our change of clothes and towels and shoes nicely.

So the positive, this bag is durable and pretty. I feel like your purpose for this bag will drive your opinion of the size. I personally wished it had been a touch bigger for my carry-on. With that being said, if it were, it may not have been as manageable. I would say it is a an overnighter not a weekender. *maybe I pack too many shoes
