Light weight fabric, lovely fit that hugs curves without being clingy, perfect slits on sides, minimal fabric gapping at buttons but isn't revealing.

I bought this dress because I loved the fit. It's well made and hangs gorgeously. The four flaps instead of just side flaps make it swingy and the color goes with anything. I wore it for summer work day (slightly more casual) and then on vacation. Glad I own it now!

Came without a belt but liked my leather belt with it. Runs a little large- trusted reviews and went down to a zero and it fit perfectly. For reference my measurements are 33-26-36. It does wrinkle so you prob would need to steam it if you wanted to wear more than once. Thought about buying it. Would rent again.

I wore this dress to work (although probably too casual for the office but it's cute), to a Fourth of July cookout, and out for drinks. It is comfortable and it has pockets! The fabric looks like denim but is thin and has some stretch.

I wish the belt that is attached wasn't attached because it felt a little high on my frame, but great otherwise

I LOVE this dress!!! The fit was great! the material was fabulous! the only con (to me) was the (high) slits on the side. I wore it, accommodating it with some high leggings and a slip. I added a belt to just take away from the fullness of the dress, but it's great without as well. Other then that, I recommend this dress for active to casual wear, it can go for formal wear with some nude pumps or nude heels. I wore it casual. pictures show how i wore it. The dress was a little stiff when I first unpackaged it. The fabric has a bit of stretch and is a bit course, but the weight of the fabric is perfect for holding the modern structure of the dress. I LOVED this piece. I kept it for almost a month and wore it to many different occasions. Different shoes, different accessories and it was an entirely different look- but all the same comfort. Highly recommend!

First, forgive the work bathroom selfie. I am the worst about remembering to take pictures in the cute things I rent. I got an email before my order shipped letting me know the belt for this dress hadn't been returned, but decided to have them send it anyway. The dress arrived a bit wrinkled at the bottom of the skirt, but I wore it to work anyway. I added a white shrug, and burgundy belt and Tieks, as well as a nude tank underneath. I realized shortly after getting to work that the buttons on the skirt gaped when I sat down. I promptly covered up with a blanket while sitting at my desk and made a mental note to put on a slip when I went home for lunch. On the way back to the office, I got stuck in a downpour and got soaked, which did not help with the already growing wrinkle issue. Overall, the dress was really cute, but may or may not be one I would rent again. Oh, one major upside I almost forgot: it does have pockets!!

you could wear this dress to anything! I wore for a 4th party. dress was a little baggy, thankful for the tie around the waist for some definition. The pockets, as always, are amazing and the slits on the sides do give it a little something extra. So easy to have an instant, polished outfit.

Me: 5'1", 34DD, short arms/torso, curvy, self conscious of my midsection Fitting: Since I'm 5'1" this was a maxi on me. I have a 34DD chest and this fit me well - no button gaping. It is a boxy rectangular straight cut shift. The tie makes the fabric bunch up at the waist a little strangely so you might end up leaving it loosely tied. Fabric: gray denim that is a lighter weight than typical jeans. There isn't any stretch to it. A good warm spring day type of fabric. Style: Because it looks like a maxi on me it ended up being frumpy chic. I wore glasses, high bun, doc martens, and a long black cardigan. I think I looked like an elemntary school art teacher in it but I felt pretty great!

Wore it to church, it was super comfortable and really cute.

I ordered this for the weekend, but it didn't arrive in time. I actually was surprised at how professional this looked when I added a leather belt and a navy blazer. Got lots of compliments and female colleagues wished they had worn a dress with pockets. Would definitely rent again.

I love this dress! I wore it to work but it can be worn so many places. Super comfortable and has pockets! I love the slits on the sides- they are not too high. I would definitely rent this again.

One of the easiest things to wear. Loved how comfortable it was. More on the conservative side, but stylish all the same. The 4 was a nice fit, it stayed buttoned up top (32D) and was a good length, hitting about mid-calf but not an awkward/unflattering way.

I'm normally a 6 and got the 4 based on reviews and that fit perfectly. I got lots of compliments. The material is great for transitioning from inside to outside during the summer and is comfortable outside and inside

I will pain my heart to send this one back. It's just the perfect weight and fabric for warm spring temps in the South. It's comfy, moves well, and the slits aren't so high that it lacks modesty (which I've felt with other dresses of this midi length that I've rented.) Perfection!

I've rented this dress twice now and still love it. Something about its refined laid backness is refreshing. Also the fabric is comfortable (although it may need a little ironing) and it has pockets!

Really great dress to wear during a heat wave in NYC. It could veer into mom territory because of the length but the slit keeps it sexy. I actually put a brown braided belt over the fabric belt. It's a put together work look- only complaint is that the fabric does wrinkle pretty easily.

Wore to a semi-casual outdoor wedding shower, the dress style was absolutely perfect. However, the actual dress itself had a few strings pulled here and there. It still worked out perfectly and I would own it if I could!!!

I was hesitant at first that the length would look strange on my 5'5 frame but yet again, Rent the Runway proved me wrong. The dress falls mid-calf but what you can't really see from the pictures are the two slits on the side. They hit to right above knee length and add good texture to the dress! I wore with nude wedges and felt so stylish! Dress fits true to size!

I wore this to a graduation party on a VERY hot day and I was really comfortable in it. Even though the fabric feels heavier, it was very breathable and light. I rented a size 6 because I'm usually a 4 or 6 and am now 4 months pregnant, so I decided that a 6 was a better bet and that worked out well for me.
