The pockets were the secret sauce to this super cute, fun and flattering dress. I pair it with pumps, pearls and a blazer for work, but easily could have worn with no jacket and strappy heels to a nice event. Super flattering but size up if large busted, as very high zipper.

I was showing this dress off to a coworker and heard another go "did you just do a twirl?". Yes I did! I was feeling fabulous all day. Later a few coworkers said I looked like I lost weight! This might be a dress I purchase for keeps.

Great fit, super comfy material, bonus was that it has pockets!!! Got so many come linens in it. Downside was that the bottom ruffle part material bunched like it had been dry cleaned to many times. Obviously I noticed the problem and was concerned but no one else realized the issue.

Super cute dress. A bit short for work, in my opinion, but love the cut and love the fit. It's navy on navy, not the black/navy some reviewers stated. Material is great! Paired it with a blazer in the morning and bright, fun cardigan in the afternoon/evening. Pics are terrible, but give an idea-ish (and I'm willing to share because pictures totally help me!). Love the dress! Super fun for a night out, but again, I felt it was too short for work.

The top part is almost like a tunic with a long black slip underneath that is a little silkier and flowy. Positive: Pockets in black slip, pretty fabrics, feminine and great transitional piece. I could see wearing this to work and then to date night. Negative: Thought the tunic with the high slit up the sides was a little too "weird" for me and I found it difficult to layer with a jacket/sweater as there were too many different lengths going on at once. Also I don't think this is made for very tall girls. I felt like it wasn't perfect for my body type with the wider hips and flowy skirt and it hit a little higher above the knee than I would have liked, but fit up top perfectly. Think the pictures are pretty true to how it looks.

I rented this dress for my boyfriend's company awards dinner. I needed a dress that wasn't too fancy and look conservative. The material is comfortable, the top part is a dark navy and the skirt portion is black. The length was longer than on the model and it does not fit snug but will still flatter your figure. The skirt has pockets on both sides but the seam was in an awkward position. I had to either pull the bottom part so it fit like a snug ring around my butt or keep the seam above the butt...making the dress shorter. Maybe if you don't have a butt this won't be a problem. Otherwise a cute dress but I wouldn't rent again.

Overall the dress fit perfect, with all the right curves. I sized down feeling optimistic. But it was a little too tight in the hip area and made the pockets bulge a little so i wore a jacket with it to cover the pockets. I really loved how everything fit all together.

Great work dress. Dressed it down with a denim jacket but it's fancy enough to be a cocktail dress with the right accessories. Flippy skirt makes it a conservative yet sexy dress.

I am usually a 2 or 4, and opted for the larger 4 based on the reviews. I love love this dress. Fits perfectly. Perfect for work. Great for athletic body with small bust. Hides the midsection and shows off your arms and legs amazingly. I would definitely rent again!

I loved this dress so much, I bought it! It is fitted through the top and is very flattering on the bottom with the flounce. It is a tad shorter than I like to wear to work and I felt self-conscious sitting in it in a room full of people. When I wear it again to work I will wear it with tights. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Loved the two layers, I wore it with a fun statement necklace. I sized up to a 12 and it fit perfect. Great dress that can be glammed up for a special night or down for work.

This is a really great work dress. The dark colors are slimming but it's not the typical boring black dress. About half way through the day I noticed it had pockets! I run between a 4 and 6, and the 4 looked great.

I want to wear this all day everyday and never take it off. I feel and look super skinny! I gained some weight and it looks like I'm my old size 6 self even though it's a 10. Rent or buy whatever you have to do to get this dress on!!

This dress was adored by me and my coworkers. It almost seems like a long top with a dress/skirt under and just flows really well. The pockets are a great bonus and the way they are layered in doesn't make the dress too bulky when something is actually being carried in them.

Perfect classic LBD. Fits like all Theory clothing. A little tighter in the waist and arm holes, but the skirt flare makes room for American hips/thighs.

If I could give this a higher review, I would. Absolutely everything I want in a semi-professional dress. It is tailored perfectly, classic Theory. I couldn't tell this from the picture, but the ruffle underneath is a whole separate layer. With pockets! Loved everything about this dress and would buy it if I could.

Love this dress highly recommend. Thought it was a little narrow through the top but not unwearable. It was something just a little different for work and I loved the twist on a classic work dress. Would rent again!
