Fits true to size. Looks stiff but fabric is actually soft and a bit stretchy so super comfortable. I think it's dark navy (not black)and hunter green, but I still wore with black tights/ shoes and thought it looked fine.

LOVE this simple dress - the cut fit me perfectly, and was flattering on my petite frame. The houndstooth pattern is subtle, and a nice detail when you see it up close. The fabric has some stretch in it, so it was very comfortable all day and didn't wrinkle even though I was sitting at a desk most of the day.

The fit on top is great, but it is too short (I am 5'10). Works ok with opaque tights.

I brought this dress with me on a work trip, figuring it wouldn't wrinkle much. I was right and it was easy to slip on straight out of my suitcase after an overnight flight. I have short arms so the sleeves were too long on me so I pushed them up.

The material was flexible and it was easy to sit in for hours.

Theory knows workwear. I will probably keep this one. The houndstooth print makes it more interesting than a plain black work dress. I'm between a size 4/6 and the 6 works well. More give than I expected. I'm 5'3 and it hits an inch above my knee, so taller girls should be mindful of that. Someone said this isn't spectacular. It's not, but it's not supposed to be! It's a dress for a business professional setting.

I got my usual xs, fit close to the body, thick and warm. I wore this so many times. I would have purchased it if it were less expensive.

I'm a 6 in Theory dresses and this fit perfectly. It was comfortable with room to move, and the length was work appropriate without being too long. Paired with black tights and patent lug loafers. Will definitely rent again.

I rented this for a work conference and wore it with tall black boots. Loved it - a nice heavy weight fabric and fit really well. I'm normally a size 6 (and sometimes a 4), but sized up to an 8 and was very comfortable. I also wore it on a ski vacation to Aspen and felt dressed up for dinner.

This is a classic, pretty dress. It clings to curves so not utterly flattering but I enjoyed wearing it and styled with boots. Maybe a better choice for fall or winter than spring/summer.
