This dress was awesome! It fit perfect. And I loved how it was black and white, so I could add some color with shoes, jewelry, etc. I also usually get nervous about long sleeves because I sweat a lot, but this one was all "open" so it was nice to get some air flowing through!

The fit was perfect and it looked really sexy and classy at the same time. I am pretty short so the length worked really well for me. The sleeves were a little looser than I thought but no one could tell but me..... Had so many people compliment me on this dress.

I rented this dress for a formal cocktail engagement party. After reading the reviews, I decided to get a size bigger for the backup size. The 2 fit absolutely perfectly, and was extremely flattering, but it had very little extra space for sitting or dancing. I definitely don't wear short dresses often, so was a little self conscious of the length. I hoped the size 4 would provide some extra length, and it did, but it unfortunately also had a little too much extra space, with odd gathering in the tummy and hip area. I thought maybe it was because it was a little stretched out, but that might just be the nature of this dress - if it fits it's like magic, if it doesn't it's really not flattering at all. I would definitely recommend it, though, and imagine it flattering lots of body types. I got tons of compliments, and it made me feel awesome. It's also beautifully made and comfortable. It's a dress I would definitely consider buying some day, because it's appropriate for so many settings and occasions and you can wear so many different shoes and accessories for different looks. It would be a great investment!

I wear a size 4 pants but have a broad back so I always have to have a larger dress size so I can zip it up. The 8 worked but was too tight around the bust. Went with the 10, the length was perfect.

I wore this to my boyfriend's office party at the aquarium. I was worried about the fit because I am borderline plus-size; sometimes I'm a 12, sometimes a 14, and the largest size in this dress is 12. It fit a little snug around the hips and I had to keep pulling the slip down since it is shorter to begin with, but overall I really liked it. I felt like the most beautiful one there, and certainly the most classy! The sleeves are just lovely, and the dress was comfortable temperature-wise. The other reviews really helped by saying this dress is pretty true to size. I am very small in the bust but have a larger rib cage and it still fit well all around. The dress itself was in great condition. I seriously wanted to keep this dress since it's hard to find fashionable but flattering pieces in the larger sizes! The whole RTR experience was awesome, I will be renting from them again! Thanks RTR!

I rented this dress for my 10 year HS reunion and had an absolute blast wearing this dress and received a TON of compliments. It arrived in great condition (sometimes a lace dress looks frayed and used) but this dress looked fantastic. I'm 5'1'' and fluctuate from 120-124lbs and am noticing that I wear a size 4 in RTR dresses (I'm a 2 in normal clothes like from The Limited, Banana, etc.) The only thing I found surprising was that the dress was shorter than I realized. Being that I'm so short, I'm used to dresses hitting me at the knee but as you can see from the picture, it hit at a comfortable/normal length BUT if I was dancing and moving my arms around, I'd have to give it a little tug to keep it down. Other than that, everything else was perfect... even the arm length. I'd absolutely recommend this dress to others and might even rent it again for New Years. :)

This dress was perfect for a black-tie optional wedding in NYC. It does run a little short but offset by the long sleeves and great for summer nights. It was comfortable and easy to dance in and I was really happy with the fit.

I loved this dress - wore it to a work Christmas party and it was the perfect combination of sexy and conservative. The dress was in excellent condition and showed up in tags, never worn! It was quite fitted at the waist and hugged hips as opposed to being a sheath - style. Spanx helped keep the tummy in! Wore with black pumps and green and white drop earrings from RTR too.

I wore this to my fiance's company holiday cocktail party. It was a great mix of fun and sexy but not too over the top for a company event. The sleeves were great for warmth and also made it a bit more conservative. I was worried that, being a short gal, the length would be too long but it was perfect! I think it would work for girls of any height, just know it will be more of a mini if you are tall. The bust wasn't too tight, which sometimes happens for me with dresses with this neckline. I got compliments all night and got to share the RTR secret with a few lucky ladies!

Wore it for a New Year's Eve party. I felt glamorous and got many compliments throughout the night. It was comfortable and kept me warm during the walk from the party to our hotel.

I wore this dress for a NYE party and it was perfect. The fit was pretty true to size and the long sleeves helped with the cold temperatures. The slip under the lace can be a little see through so make sure all under garments are nude colored. My boyfriend loved this dress too and I am thinking of renting it again. It would be great so really any winter event!

I love this dress and received so many compliments! My boyfriend even offered to buy the dress after he saw it on me :) It arrived clean and had no signs of wear and tear. All of the lace hems were in perfect condition. I wore the dress for a family Christmas party and the length was perfect, not too short. The only complaint was that the sleeves were about an inch too long and not as tight as they appear in the model's picture. Overall, I would highly recommend this dress!

I wore this for my friends birthday party and felt so great all night long. It fit very comfortably and I was able to dance without worying about it being too tight or short. I normally would not rent a LBD since I own so many, but as soon as I put this on I fell in love with it. I recommend this for women of all shapes and sizes!

This dress was beautiful, classy and made me feel incredible. I also thought this dress was very flattering and made me feel thinner than the backup dress I chose. I ended up wearing a different dress (I chose this dress as my 2nd style) but it wasn't without great hesitation and 2 days of debating. I wish I had another party to wear this dress to because I would definitely rent it again. The kate spade new york japanese pearl earrings were also an amazing compliment to this dress. It was like the two were made together. For $15 I would definitely recommend renting those to go with it! No other jewelry is even necessary. I also bought a pair of opaque black tights that looked nice under the dress but I ended up going bare-legged. =] Overall the fit was great. True to size I'd say. I rented a 2 and a 4 and would've probably worn the 2. The zipper in the back is easy to pull up too. Even in the 2 I was able to get into and out of the dress by myself, I didn't need to have someone zip me up or unzip me, which is always a plus.

I wore this dress to my company's holiday party. There wasn't a ton of give so I'd recommend getting a size UP for your backup size just in case. Also, I'm 5'2" (or 5'3" on a good day) and the dress was pretty short even on me so that's just something to keep in mind if you are taller.

This was my backup dress and I thought the pictures made it look sort of like a table cloth. However, when I put it on it looked great. It was the prefect length and made of great materials. The zipper in the back is gold fyi. I wore it with black platform peep-toe pumps and gold accented earrings. The only issue I had with this dress is the chest area. I am a 32DD and there wasn't much room for me in there, and the fabric doesn't stretch. If I would have gone a size bigger the dress would have been too big in the waist. I got tons of compliments on my dress and felt appropriate, sexy and classy for the outdoor wedding I attended. I would absolutely recommend it.

This dress was awesome! Very comfortable, and mostly ran true to size. The only thing was that the bust was a little tight, but that really didn't get in the way of anything and it was still comfortable and I could dance in it easily!

Such a great dress! I wore this on a date and my boyfriend couldn't stop staring! It has a tiny bit of stretch, but runs a bit narrow in the hips if you are bigger on bottom like me, so I kept having to pull it down when walking around. Otherwise, fit perfectly! Will definitely rent this one again :)

I rented this for a television appearance. My stomach is my problem area and I felt like the white behind the lace accentuated this, even with Spanx. I received the 8 and 10, both fit but I just didn't feel confident in it.

I wore this to my birthday dinner with friends and then out dancing afterwards. I had compliments all night long. It was very comfortable, I did wear a waist cinched just to smooth out the dress but it was great. The dress is fitted through the hips, but nothing a pair of pantyhose can't help with. Would defiantly rent again. Side note: my profile says I wear an 8, but I recently had knee surgery that has kept me from working out. I tried on the eight and it would have fit if I was my normal weight.

I went to the Henri Bendels store in a pinch on a Monday needing to find a dress for NYE. It was meant to be with this dress. I wanted something not too revealing and festive, it's winter in NY. The dress runs true to size. I am 5'1 it wasn't a mini on me but short enough. You can wear regular undergarments with this dress no tape needed. Thought it was a classic dress you can wear it to a wedding or party.

It was a great dress to show off my legs while still being classy. It fit perfectly and was really comfy. I loved the sleeves for the night since it got a smidge chilly, but I didn't want to be hot when we went to the bars and danced later for girls night out.

The sizes 6 and 8 fit EXACTLY the same -- like they were the exact same dress. Other than that, my experience was amazing and I got compliments all night! The dress was small, but I felt really beautiful in it.

This dress was a hit!!! I received compliments from the time I put it on till the end of the night. My 15 year old saw me in it and said, "Wow mommy you lodk great! You're gonna knock them out"... When a 15 year old approves, you know you look great! The dress was well made and the lace was easy to wear. It does however run small. I would advise wearing spanks with it. Also this dress is best worn in the winter months. I will definately order it again. Wish I could keep this one.
