This shirt is cute and easy to wear for work. It's conservative and comfy. I read the other reviewers mentioning that it was a little tight so I decided to size up. Im usually a small, but opted for a medium. If I rent again id probably get a size large. The fabric is thick and structured, so it doesn't have much stretch. Pictured with AKNVS pants, also from RTR. For reference I'm 5'7 and 132lbs.

Make sure you order a size up on this one! One size up on me fit snuggly. Nice material and cut!

The fit is very tailored and snug, it you're between sizes on top I'd suggest a size up.

I'm a 32DD and normally I wear a small/extra small due to my waist size. I needed a medium in this to feel comfortable. Princess zipper in the back (pretty easy to get up by yourself). I lined and not overly hot. It's very cream/tan, not white.

I sized up and this top was still way too small. As you can see in the picture, it pulled at the waist in a very unflattering way and fit too tight in the shoulders. The material was also very different from what I expected: it was sort of a thin canvas, not nearly as professional as I had hoped. I wasn't too disappointed that it didn't fit. I would pass on this too unless you are very slender and petite with narrow shoulders, and even then I might pass on it anyway.

Fine for a winter shirt, it's very very thick material, not great in the heat. Looks odd with skirts because there is a seam at the natural waist under the arms. Followed advice and sized up, medium fit like a glove around the midsection, and I have a 29 inch waist. More yellow beige than the pictures show. Not my favorite. Felt dowdy wearing it.

Its a great every day work piece

Needed a well fitted basic white top, didn't wow but fit the bill. Has some stretch to it but I could see being tight if you are buster.

Too tight across the chest and back. Bummed I couldn't wear it but will size up next time.

Like other reviewers said, this runs way small. I sized up to a M but should have gone to a L or even bigger. I'm not particularly large in the bust or arms, but it's skintight in both areas.

Unless you're a size 0 or 2 I would definitely order the medium. I am a size 4 and the small was way too tight on me and I am a petite person.

Thick fabric, form fitting, definitely important to get size and pants right. It will show everything underneath on the waist.

Zipper made it fit well however still prone to fabric bunching and zipper was felt sometimes while sitting

I like the structure and shape of this top! It's a really nice staple piece because it can go with nearly any bottoms-skirts, pants, ect. I have really muscular arms/shoulders so the sleeves were a bit tight on me but the fabric overall has some stretch to it which is nice, and makes it very comfortable to wear. The color was nice too, a nice neutral off white/cream. I usually wear a small, got a M and felt it was a bit snug but I also realize that's pretty common among designer clothing brands. I probably would have purchased it but the bust darts hit me too low and didn't look flattering. In summary-nice piece, looks good, goes with anything, wears comfortably!

Touch small in the shoulders but not enough to size up for me. Love the darting, very fitted but still professional. Not a stunner but a solid work top nonetheless.

Fabric is quite stretchy but it definitely runs small. I typically take a size small and the medium was borderline too snug on me. Top does have very nice lines and is simple yet sophisticated.

The fabric was nice and thick--held it's shape and held you in which I liked. It was almost a little too tight, in the arms and waist, but I loved the way it looked.

Nicely-constructed, form-fitting top. Glad I followed the advice of fellow RTR'ers & sized up to a medium otherwise I would not have been able to wear it (or breathe)!

This was a little oddly fitted - too tight in the torso but okay elsewhere - and not very flattering overall.

I'm usually a size 4 or 6 but the size 6 was too small, especially around the mid-section, which was unflattering, and with the white color was very unforgiving on my belly fat so I didn't wear it. Apart from that, as usual with Theory, this is a great quality top and would be perfect for work. If you have some upper body curves and trying to look to slimmer, it may not be the best top.

Nice top, good material but I didn't expect it to be as form fitting as it was

I rented this in an XS based on my experience with Theory and the fact that I'm almost always an XS in tops. This shirt was way too tight - across the chest, in the waist, basically everywhere - and did not have the structured look as displayed in the model photo.

I'm typically a size 6 and rented this shirt in a medium. The shirt was so tight around the stomach area that i could not wear it. Maybe size up two sizes? The fabric and creamy color are so beautiful though! I might try again with a large!

Didn't wear too tight

I didn't read the reviews, but should have! This was way too tight around the midsection. Super unflattering.

Should have listened to other reviews. This shirt runs oddly small. Got a small, which I could zip up, but was tight all over. I could tell that even if I sized up to medium, it would still be tight. Returned it and never wore.
