I wore this for work. It's navy, not black as the description indicates. It stretches out as the day wears on and wrinkles extremely easily, especially if you're sitting down all day. Despite that, I liked that it was easy to throw on with a statement necklace and that it wasn't too long on my petite figure. (It was the only dress out of 6 that I ordered for work that actually fit, lengthwise.)

This is the ideal work dress. Skims the body without being inappropriate and perfect length for my height. Looks great with and without a blazer. It does wrinkle a little after sitting but not a big deal. And the armholes are a tad large but I liked that -- kept me from getting the dress sweaty on a hot summer day.

Really cute dress! It's not black, it's a very dark navy blue (which I like even better than black). Pockets were my favorite part! Only think I'd say is that it wrinkles pretty easily, so just be careful if you sit at a desk all day long (like I do) because it might be all wrinkly when you stand up.

Totally fine. Not one you'll get compliments on all day, but very easy and professional. Runs a little small since its Theory, so size up if you're between sizes.

I had sized up in this dress, not wanting it to be too form fitting for work, but I didn't have to do that. I should've gone with my true size. Really comfortable and stretchy material, and the side pockets are always a plus. Length is work appropriate.

Basic Theory dress. Nice material and slightly a-line cut. It's a bit on the short side so I wore a shorter jacket with it. RTR says this is black but I think it's a dark navy, so keep that in mind if you're trying to pair it with something else.

This dress fit me very well. It is a bit on the short side but the material is comfortable and forgiving. There is nothing particularly unique or special about the dress (the pockets are nice), but I absolutely have gotten multiple wears out of it.

Super cute, very comfy, doesn't feel tight or anything, long enough for work appropriate! Honestly it's just an LBD but it's a very well designed and structured LBD and really that makes all the difference! Got a bunch of compliments

I'm normally a 4/6 but Theory runs small so I sized up to an 8 and that size fit. It's a typical basic work dress and looks really nice and professional. I'm 5'3 and the length came to right above my knee. I think it might actually be very dark navy? It wasn't an issue because I rented it to pair with a camel blazer but just be aware if you plan to wear it with a black jacket.

The fit was comfortable. The dress had some give and was a little stretchy. Kept the pockets zipped closed for a better look.

I'm a size 10 and the size 10 did fit, but it fit very tight to my body and was too short to wear to work. Additionally, the material was a lot thinner than I was expecting (you could see my belly button through the dress).

I thought, even with the other reviews, that since I was 5'1, I could still wear this to work. It's simply too short. It hits probably 3 inches above the knee.

Pockets in a sheath dress? Didn't think that was possible without adding bulk to the hips. This design is marvelous. Perfect fit!!! Great for Petite heights.

The dress fit loosely, which seems to be the way it was meant to be. While most reviewers seem to have worn this to work, I wore the dress with gray ankle booties to a college football game and it was a perfect outfit. Lots of compliments! I would definitely rent this again.
