The material is definitely more heavy than I expected but I wore it out in NJ in December, so I did not mind. Gives you a great silhouette and and very easy to dress up or down.

I love this classic top by Theory! Running true to size with no stretch, I recommend wearing a size up for your primary size. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and fitted, at the hips. It works best for A-C cup sizes. You, are not able to wear a standard bra with this top so you should wear a strapless bra or nubra since your shoulders are exposed. Because the material was so thick, it definitely would keep you warm if travelling somewhere with colder weather. Pair with a simple necklace to complete your outfit!

This top is so versatile. I wore it tucked into a skirt but you could also pair it with jeans! I am a 34 B and was able to go braless as it is thick material. It is pretty long and probably hit near my upper thigh.

I rented this for a New Year's Eve Party. This wide neck shirt is very comfortable and flattering. It's fitted so that you don't have to worry about it falling down (a worry I had before trying this on). The fabric is a little weird - it kind of feels like a scuba suit, but I think the thickness of this fabric made it comfortable and forgiving. I paired this with a faux leather skirt and felt great.

When I took this shirt out the bag I was like this is not going to fit. But it did! Great stretch and kept everything in. It was like a spandex type shirt!

Love the material - very thick like scuba almost -- only complaint is the sleeves are long and the thickness makes it a bit tight tucking into jeans but otherwise absolutely loved it

Didn't expect the fabric to be so thick, its sort of a neoprene. But because its so thick I honestly don't even know if I'll need a bra. I am petite, so the arms were a bit long, and the shirt goes almost mid butt on me, but I will be tucking it in so that doesn't really bother me and I can roll the sleeves if need be.

Overall this is a nice top but the material is a little strange. It's not breathable at all and honestly felt like I was putting on a wet suit. The fit is very nice and I think it would work well paired with the right pants. It was too dressy and the weather was too warm to wear it for the event I rented it for

Weird swimsuit material. Bunched up in awkward places that you can see in the photo. Didn't stay in place. I wanted to like this beside the way the fabric felt. I just couldn't like this at all due to fit.

The material is more of a neoprene than a knit but it's extremely flattering and perfect for a dinner or or night out. Will definitely be renting this again!

I really enjoyed this top. The sleeves are a bit long but can be tucked under, The shirt itself is fairly long but I was able to tuck or fold. Has a very sleek fit, thick enough to not need a bra and provide support

The material is 100% the material they use for scuba gear. That being said it sort of sucks everything in and keeps good form. I liked this shirt a lot.

I wanted to love this and I should have gone a size up but they only had a Small available. I didn't end up wearing this. The material is a neoprene material and it is stretchy but very tight. The arms in particular. I gave it 3 stars because it felt high quality and I'm sure it would have been good in a better size.

Not sure how this would work, because it’s so long, but also very tight. Didn’t wear.

Loved the neck line but just too tight. I didn't feel like having every bulge of my body showing.

The scuba material of this top is not what I was expecting at all. For the right outfit it could have worked but not at all what I was looking for.

Great idea as I adore anything spanzy! However this was more like a scuba diving wet suit and the sleeves were so long. It did not pair well for the professional look I was going for.

I love theory and own tons of it. I liked this top for a vacation option and I did read that it was a different material. I should have listened to the reviews because it was literally like a thick scuba suit material. Heavy and not comfortable to wear. I wound up returning it unworn.

I only wore this shirt out to do errands, since COVID shutdowns started in my city like two days after it came, and the party I got it for was cancelled. But it was super cute. I wore it with some black and white checkered skinny ankle pants and red pointed toe flats and felt very stylish.

Wore it 3x and counting! The scuba material is SO flattering, it holds you in and creates a beautiful silhouette. I really want to buy this... thinking about it...

Nice heavy fabric, kind of spandex-y/neoprene-y but not hot or uncomfortable. I wore this with a long silver skirt to a black tie event, but it could easily suit with black pants or jeans for a more casual event. Very flattering neckline, and I was comfortable dancing all night. Might run a tad small (I'm usually between a Small and Medium and Medium probably would have been better if I were any larger in the chest). Sleeves stayed put on my shoulders perfectly. Would rent again.

Amazing shirt. Comfortable and flattering and polished. Worked for work (as long as you can expose some shoulder) and date night and out with girlfriends. I purposed sized up so I would have some breathing room and I'm happy I did. Still had structure and shape but I could eat a big dinner and feel comfortable. It stretches but is pretty 'stiff' so I do recommend sizing up if you like a little room to breathe. Thinking about buying it I love it so much.

Such an elegant top. Doesn't wrinkle, so looks fresh all day. I found it very slimming, and also very flattering for my shoulders. Highly recommend!

This top is SO comfortable and flattering. It's a stretchy scuba material but thick so it holds you in. Very well made. Considering buying it. Probably not great for large chests.

It looks overall like a high quality shirt, I just didn't love the material. It's a bit noisy when you move and very tight. But nice shape and great for accentuating neck and shoulders in an elegant, yet everyday-style way.

The material was neoprene, I think, which made the top very warm to wear. This top would be much better in the winter time. Ultimately, I did not end up wearing the top out due to a quality issue (which RTR immediately resolved for me), but I would have worn it with black jeans. The neckline was elegant and flattering, though it did ride up a bit for me.

The sleeves were long and baggy on me, but I will say the off-the-shoulder neckline is very flattering. I was surprised by the fabric...it was like a neoprene (felt and looked like a wetsuit). I decided it wasn't my cup of tea and sent it back.
