This little black dress is a staple in my closet! Wow! Dress up, dress down, it works! The L was a bit larger on my torso but the length was just right. Very comfortable. Great fabric. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous dress. Wear a black tank top underneath to avoid buttons showing skin in between. Top part was slightly big on me, might have sized down, but middle/waist was perfect.

I’m 5’6 and this dress hits past my fingertips, so it’s totally office-appropriate but still cute enough for a date. I wore it to a formal steakhouse dinner with chocolate nylons, then dressed it down with socks and flats and it would also be adorable with sneakers. One thing to note, there can be some gaping if you have a fuller chest. I’m small-chested and still needed fabric tape to keep it in place (hello gaping b/t buttons 🥴). Comfort-wise, this dress is magic. It’s roomy and forgiving but somehow still looks body-shaping. I felt comfortable all night. I’m usually not a Ted Baker person and this was originally a “just filling a spot” pick, but it completely surprised me. Outerwear? Rent the Make faux fur coat - it’s the exact same length and looks like perfection together!

The material is on the thicker side as well. And it’s not super short so you can wear it to work.

Loved this one! Received it new with tags. Wore it 3 times, once to a work event with tights and heels, once to a Christmas dinner as pictured and once with loafers to a networking event. Wish it was a little more form fitting and a tiny bit longer.

I love the gold swirl buttons on this simple black dress. The dress is well-structured and flattering, but the buttons pop open easily (maybe it’s because I’m busty). It’s comfortable to wear, I just wish it were made from a different fabric

This is a really great staple black dress with some flare in the skirt. I got lots of compliments on the look, but the dress itself has some problems. First, it’s boxy. So it was tight on the top and looser around the middle. Second, the buttons are spaced out so far from one another that you will likely need fabric tape to keep it closed. And finally, the buttons are very very loose on the dress and are about to fall off. This happened to me twice with this dress - both times I rented it and both times had an issue with a button falling off because of how poorly they are attached. Good to rent if you want a staple work dress with some pizzazz but too cheap to pay the heavy price tag for it. I would still rent it again.

This dress was so comfortable to wear to work (it has pockets!). It was a little bit loose but I think a size down may have been too short so I was ok with the size overall. I got a lot of compliments on it!

Looks flattering from the front...but beware. I sized down and the buttons were screaming for relief! Even with the smaller size, the waist is a large tent from the side.

This dress had so much potential but just didn’t quite work. I am normally a size small/ 4, so I initially tried this dress in a small. While the arms and torso part fit me very well, the skirt part was ridiculously large and poufy and not at all flattering. I next tried it an XS (pictured here) and while the skirt part fit better, the shoulders are so tight I’m scared I will pop a button. Unfortunately, I think it needs to go back unworn.

Wore to a day of work meetings. Was comfortable and a good length. The fabric was a perfect weight, not too light and not too heavy. The gold buttons look really nice in person.

Very thick material, so this dress would be best if you wear it in the fall or winter. It has a very structured look, and the golden buttons make this dress look very stylish.

Were you a bubble dress girl in the early 2000's? This dress is for you! I loved wearing this. I would have bought it except I thought the medium was slightly too big, might rent again in a small. If you're pear shaped, go with your smaller size because the bottom is not super fitted, and you can size for your top half.

Got SO MANY compliments on this dress. Paired with black tights and black boots.
