This dress gives you a perfect hourglass figure. It accentuates the waist and the ruffles give it such movement and pizazz. I felt very flirty and playful wearing it. I did have to size up. I'm normally a 10 in dresses and I wore a 12, but who cares? Sizes are just numbers. I would recommend sizing up if you have wider hips/booty.

Beautiful well made dress I am long waisted and the waist was a tiny bit high. The waist is tapered and perfectly fitted. I am typically a 6, and the 10 fit perfect.

I sized up based on the reviews, and I think that was the right thing to do, but I found that the dress would slide to the right on me because that side of the dress was heavier

This dress is amazing ... once you find your size. I am a true 6 (hourglass) and the 10 fit perfectly. I can't say enough good things about this dress ... the material, the fit, the details ... I wish I could keep it! Wore it unbuttoned with a lace bralette underneath and black Fryes. Will rent again if I have the right place to wear it!

I absolutely loved this dress. It is SO well made, flattering with the cinched waist and comfortable with the soft fabric. Only issue is that it had a VERY sticky zipper that was hard to pull up past the extra material at the waist- needed help getting it both on and off. Roomy in the bust which is great because buttons can pose a problem for bigger chests - I wore this in a US 8 and I'm a 34E Also so many compliments!

I loved this dress and for the most part the fit was lovely, except for the waist. I needed help zipping the zipper, though once it was on it looked great. Got lots of compliments. Next time I might size up so it's not so tight around the middle, but the rest of the dress was perfect and fit true to size. Material was luxurious and the ruffles looked amazing while walking.

I think this label just isn't for me. This is the second thing I've rent from Temperley, and while the pieces are beautiful quality, they never fit quite right around my big hips/booty. This one would have zipped and fit amazing on my waist but definitely would have had room to spare in the chest, but I couldn't get it zipped over my hips. Pear-shaped ladies should pass on this one!

This is gorgeous. It looks incredibly lux -- the fabric is amazing -- and is incredibly flattering on my big busted, apple shaped body.

This dress is perfection. Wore it to work (received compliments), to a girls' dinner (received compliments), out shopping on a casual weekend (received compliments). Love love love this one.

I wore this in the 10 but a 12 would’ve fit much better. It was tight through the hips. I may rent again nut in a 12. It’s a very unique dress and I did receive compliments but aid feel more comfortable if it was loose.

I'm a 10 and the 14R was perfect. So fun but professional at the same time. Amazing fabric and pattern - loved it and hard to return.

Of course, because of the designer, the dress arrived a gazillion times better than it looks in photos. Beautiful fabric and fit. I just wish it was a solid color instead of the plaid. I couldn't stop feeling "country" even though the dress was super luxe. If that's your jam, this dress will be a real treat.

My size wasn't available so I rented the next size up and it was a bit big. But very comfortable to wear. Love the way the dress flows went you walk. Fabric have no stretch.

Perfect dress for fall/winter. The material looks and feels expensive. Flattering fit. I did run into issues with the zipper, it was a feisty one but after some struggle, I was able to get it up and down the waist with ease. The waist is tailored with no stretch, if you're in between sizes I'd recommend sizing up

Great for casual workplace, length feels fine for someone who like me has really long legs - not too short!

Great dress for work to an evening out. This would work year round - the fabric is substantial enough to conceal and lumps/bumps, and had a slight sheen to it. But the flouncy skirt felt breezy enough for August in NYC!

This was a fun flattering dress that resulted in many complements. Wore it to the theater (matinee) and then to work. It seems to work well for hourglass figures, and has some fun elements (ruffles, assymetrical hem) and a nice taffeta-like fabric that make it stand out. Will rent again.

Fit me perfectly- I am a 12 or 14, and got the equivalent of a 14. Nice for an hourglass shape, accentuates and isn't fitted anywhere but the waist. The top was blousy and the lower half was more tapered but not at all tight. I wear a 36DDD and the buttons did not gape. Side zipper was definitely sticky at the waist seam, but manageable. The fabric and construction are high quality. I didn't love the blue and black plaid but that is a personal preference. If the fabric was a different color or print it may have been my favorite dress ever.

Beautiful well made dress. You can see and feel the craftsmanship of this dress. I received compliments all day on this wonderful dress. Be aware it does run small and the rib cage is very narrow, if in doubt size up!

I, unfortunately, could not wear this because it runs way too small. I couldn't even zip it so obviously can't wear it. The waistband hit me just below the bust but too bad because it is super cute and high quality. I will try to rent again in 2 sizes up

Another amazing Temperley item. Loved everything about this. Like all Temperley it runs very small in the waist - I went up a size and probably could have gone up one more. Took my daughter a while to get the zipper up because of the set in waistband (and no way I could have done it myself) but totally worth it. Tons of compliments.

Cute dress but runs small. I wear a 2/4 and I couldn't even zip the 2 up. Will try the 4 next time. Otherwise, great dress. The top is blousy and the bottom seems to be more fitted to allow the ruffles to stand out.

Fortunately I have a small natural waist but am curvy. It is tiny in the waist and loose in the bust. Great for hourglass figures if you have a small natural waist, otherwise size up!

I thought this would be a cute dress for a work dinner, as it had style but also covered everything. This turned out to be the wrong dress, and I sent it back without wearing it. The hips are actually more fitted than I expected, but the main problem was the waist - it was really too big. I looked like a lumberjack in a dress, and I lost all my curves in this dress. I thought the fabric would be lightweight, but it is actually much more substantial and probably more appropriate for the fall. I think that it actually may be better for people who are more straight rather than with a small waist and hourglass figure. I know Temperly tends to run small, but the waist was too big and I think the hips wouldn't have fit if I sized down any further.

My hubby said he didn't like the pleats on the back. I thought it was cute and I followed other reviewers and ordered up to a 12 even though I'm a 6. I had issues with the zipper. I couldn't get that zipper to go up and down even with it just on the hanger. It took all hands on deck to zip it up on me. It was a pain and not worth it.

Really gorgeous, but is clearly made for someone shorter than me. I'm 5'8". The proportions were for a short torso, and the front was well above my knees. I looked ridiculous. Also, I wear a 12 and the 18 fit perfect. Size up.

Everyone else has already said it but this dress is laughably small. I ordered an 8R when my usual size would be a 2 and it was still so small that it would not zipper up the side. I was sad because it seemed well made (aside from a sticky zipper).
