I rented this dress for the premiere night of an Edgar Allan Poe play I directed. It is absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking for upscale, witchy, goth girl, look no further. I'm a size 6 and it fit perfectly. Lots of compliments all night!

I love lace and this dress didn't disappoint! I had lots of compliments and just felt pretty. My arms are muscular which made it a little snug on the arms. If you have big arms I would go a size up. I wore this dress to a fashion show in Seattle. It was so fun.

I received so many compliments on this dress! The style is right on trend with the ruffle prairie neck and small bell sleeves. I loved the midi-lenght sheer overlay. The material was great quality (thick, but not too thick) -- kept me warm for a fall outdoor wedding in Colorado. Sizing is consistent with other Temperley London dresses.

I didn't exactly want this dress. I ended up with this dress after my first choice wasn't shipped and they sent me a back-up dress that was just destroyed (beads missing, loose threads, smells). I called customer service and we spent 30-minutes trying to find me a last minute replacement. Since it's the holidays all of my back-up choices were rented out. :( We finally settled on this dress. I was hesitant because of the word 'prairie'. I didn't want to look like a school marm or a milkmaid. I wanted to look like an evil/dark forest Krampus for a masquerade party I was going to. I said "Ok' to the dress and it arrived 2-days later. I immediately put it on and said, "That's the dress. It's perfect". It really rounded-out the theme I was going for and it fit like a dream. It wasn't too tight or too loose and it was warm enough to wear in December. Pros: Comfortable, striking, warm, modest, interesting, can be worn for many different occasions. Cons: Sleeves were a little short for a tall person Overall I ended up LOVING this dress. I wish I could own it but hopefully I can keep my eyeballs on it when it goes on sale. Rent this dress if you are going for a statement piece but want to be comfortable all night. Thanks Cammilia for helping me find a last-minute replacement!

I loved this dress. It's definitely a little witchy and that was fine by me! The material is not stretchy, but overall comfortable. I was able to wear tights and a low boot for comfort. This was great cause I was warm all night, but never hot. I felt elegant, yet edgy. I wore a simple stud earring as the accessory is in the detail of the dress. I thought I would wear the 6, but it was a touch snug, the 8 fit perfect. Thank goodness for that back-up size! Overall, I loved this dress!

Just rent this immediately. Period. Fit was extremely true to size. This is an excellent dress for curvy girls. I wore it with a regular nude bra with no problems. Very sexy dress but in an understated way. The dress is so well-made. You are truly getting the craftsmanship for the price. I received so many compliments. I will definitely rent this dress again!!

This dress is a killer! With its classic Victorian design, this is sure to turn heads at whichever function you wear it to. I absolutely adore it! It runs true to size, so I definitely recommend going a size up due to the fact that it is a fitted dress. The fabric doesn’t stretch, however it is super comfortable. I’m a true 6, so that size worked out perfectly for me; there is also room in the bust area as well. It’s fitted at the waist and flattering for curvy women; at 5’6 this dress is about 4 inches from the floor. Paired with strappy black heels, this dress is truly one of a kind! It’s a super light dress, and a statement piece in itself, I definitely give this dress 5 stars.

I wore this dress for a gold rush themed event. Even though I'm not a fan of the style, personally, I thought it was perfect for the event and I got lots of compliments on it. I wish I had an 8R to try as I felt this was a bit long/loose in areas on me and maybe the 8R would've fit better. I wouldn't say it runs large, however. Also, I'm not sure why the undergarment info suggests you can wear a regular bra with this dress. I suppose if you wore something with clear straps, but you can see straps and cups (it has a rather deep V neck) of my regular bra. I wore strapless and that worked better.

I love this dress. I am rather busty so it took a minute to getnit zipped - and the fabric has next to no stretch - but it loosened witn wear. I liked that i could easily wear a regular bra and spanx. I recieved so many compliments! I never wanted to send it back!

The v ruffle is very sassy and sweet and the black adds an edgy vibe.

Unique dress. Covers a lot while still being light due to delicate lace overlay. True to size without much give yet somehow still comfortable. Perfect for a November charity gala held on a Thursday night so felt right in the middle of day to night dresses and more formal attire. Easy to accessorize because the dress is the focal point. I enjoyed wearing it.

I was dying to try Temperley, and was hoping, despite details & reviews, that this dress had just a bit more stretch & softness. It was not to be. The crocheted(?) fabric is a bit... I don't quite know how else to descibe it... crispy? The 4R just zipped on my 5'6", ~125lb, 30F figure, and it didn't have much give. I just felt like I wouldn't enjoy wearing it for that reason; and also because, while black and a bit gothy-feminine, it veered a bit too much toward the prairie vibe for my taste. Not a win for me, but probably on slightly-taller, more moderate-busted women, it would be much cuter. Just beware, again: minimal stretch.

I am a 4 or sometimes a 6 up top and if that sounds familiar go with a 6. The 4 was tight and I couldn't zip up and I think it's because I'm 34B not 32B. Frankly I loved this style in the photo but the fabric plus the ruffle dress seemed a bit 'witchy'-- it wasn't as elegant as I thought but the sleeves are really cool. If it had fit, I would've worn it, but I'm not re-ordering in a 6.

This dress just has too much going on. I didn't end up wearing. Too Little House on the Prairie without the sass to make it work.
