I wore this to a once-in-a-lifetime formal fashion show in Monaco for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, which carried a lot of pressure with choosing what to wear to the event. This dress was stunning. Here are the comments I got from my friends on facebook: "You seriously look like a celebrity" "OMG that dress is gorgeous! Where did you get it?" "Wow. So beautiful." The fabric is thick enough to hide any flaws underneath, but not hot. It worked at a spring time event despite the length/long sleeves because of the cutouts, which go all the way down the sides and make the whole dress seem lighter. I didn't wear the slip, but was still able to wear a nude thong and sticky bra, which were both unnoticeable. Fit was spot on - I am a size 6 in almost everything, and wore the 6 perfectly with room to breathe but still form fitting. There were models everywhere in the highest fashion, but I could tell that people were interested in my dress. Three strangers asked me "who I was wearing." Never thought I'd get that question in my life. I will always remember wearing this dress - it is truly special.

The slip was tight across the chest but it did loosen- the dress color is more plum than it looks on line. I am 5'10 and it hits at my ankle and looks great at that length. Loved this dress for the Grammys!

Color and laser cut style very on trend. Wore without slip. Could still wear nude strapless bra but no other undergarments. Got tons of compliments. Spectacular. Very comfortable. Fabric of dress is forgiving. Fabric of slip (which I did not wear) is not. I normally wear a size four which would have been too small in the chest for me in this dress. Recommend understated shoe.

I wore this dress to the ballet. It was absolutely beautiful. I received numerous compliments. Only down fall was that it was difficult to get on and off.

The gown comes with a fitted slip, which can be worn to cover up the cutouts on the bodice. It's important to note that the slip lining has no stretch, while the outside of the dress is stretchy. If you're curvier and plan to wear the slip you may want to consider sizing up. This style is easy to wear without a bra or with a standard or strapless bra. I am 5'3" and it was exaclty on the floor barefoot so heads up to taller women! In the pic you cannot see that the cut outs aren't lined....what you dont see is that those holes are up to under your arm so the side of your bra is 100% in view......not optimal. I am a 34F so that maybe part of the issue. The holes are all the way down your side (yes - you can see your skin) down the the floor. It surprisingly still looks quite conservative but the "side bra" issue requires a slip or something to cover your bra. It is a gorgeous dress and is generous so order down!
