This dress just felt expensive from the moment you picked it up! Very flattering fit!

Wedding!

I would suggest this dress for the winter time. It's made of heavy fabric and unless the light hits it right, it can appear darker than in the picture. If you like to dance to things like Electric Slide, this dress definitely twirls really well. :) Although, since the rib cage area is tighter on this dress (for people that have larger rib cages like me), it can hinder breathing while dancing. Overall, a very pretty dress with intricate and delicate details.

I wore this to my cousin's wedding over Memorial Day weekend and it was very appropriate for a cocktail wedding. The blue with the black lace detail made this really standout and the full skirt hides any bumps so no need for spanx (and you can wear a regular bra as well). The fabric is heavier though and it does seem more of a "winter" dress instead so if you rent it in the warmer months make sure it isn't for an outdoor event and lighten up the accessories and shoes with gold or silver instead of black.

I wore this dress to a wedding with the Nicole Miller Star Light Star Bright Necklace. I was a little nervous about ordering this dress because there was only one review (without a picture) posted. The other review is definitely right about the beautiful details, but there are a few things that would have prevented me from getting this dress if I tried it on beforehand. . First, I am pear shaped (bigger in the hips) and what the model wearing this dress does not show is that the dress hugs at the upper and lower waist. There is a ribbon belt at the upper waist and this belt started to bunch as the night went on due to the dress being tighter in that area. Second, the dress is rather tight under the arms and the material began to scratch my arms by the end of the night. And finally, the dress is heavier than expected. Thankfully I wore it on a cold night, however this would not be a dress to wear on a warmer day/night. Even though there were some issues with the dress... I did love the look of it! Getting such an expensive dress for such a low price was a steal!! And I will try RTR again! :)

I fit really well, though my hips are quite a bit wider than my waist, so it didn't necessarily look big in the waist, but it felt it, so I paired it with a wide belt and it looked awesome! I got so many compliments that night!

The dress ran a bit big, so I could have ordered a size smaller. Even though it was a little big it was a hit at the party!

Wore for a blacktie event and it was amazing. The dress does run a little big - the 10 would have been a better fit, but was sold out. Gorgeous dress and the attention to detail was great. The only drawback is how heavy the dress is. Once it is on, its not a big deal, but something to keep in mind if you are transporting the dress!

This, by far, was THE most gorgeous and well constructed dress I've ever worn...that included my wedding dress! I rented this dress for my son's First Holy Communion and received many compliments in church, and at the lunch reception. I ended up wearing the size 10 because of chest size only! The 8 def would have been too tight in the chest, but would have fit better in the waist (was a bit loose, but not obvious because of perfect construction of the dress!). The dress is a beautiful midnight blue indoors, and an electric blue outside. This dress naturally hides any flaws you may have, no need for spanx or special undergarments. I highly recommend this dress! Been trying to post a picture for almost 2 weeks, but won't upload...will keep trying till it does!

This dress is gorgeous! Can't see all the beautiful details on the picture.. It is elegant, fits amazing to any body type. I wore it to my husbands company's holiday party and kept getting so many compliments. I would wear this dress again and would love to own it;-) GORGEOUS!

Beautiful fabric and color. The bodice has no stretch & the rib cage area was a little small on me. This was a back- up dress and I did not wear it.

I really loved this dress but 12 was the only size available, ordered it anyway thinking it might run small but it really was too big to wear. The lace/detail is beautiful and color is different than standard black. Wish my size was available! Only con is that it is really heavy/thick fabric.

Con's. If you are big busted it could fit too snug. I'm a 34G and it was okay. A little tighter and it might not have fit.
