I love this dress. Not only is is well made and elegant, it was comfortable to wear. We were at an outdoor party in the Texas heat and I was cool. From the moment we got to the party, people, men and women, were complimenting me. Actually, the structure of the dress made it breathable. Also, it looked great all night from the time we arrived at 7 until the time we took photos at 11 pm. The dress is well made, elegant enough for a formal affair, yet I wore it to an outdoor, semi formal party and felt I was dressed correctly for the event. . Fit is great and I would rent it again for another event. I would say this is the best little black dress ever.

Shape was great, it fitted perfect even with my big chest (34G). I order size 8&10. Had to wear size 10 because of my large breasts. It's English sizing, everything turned out awesome. Material, quality is top of the line, it's Temperley London after all!!! This dress flirty yet sophisticated! Love, love, love this dress!

I probably could have gone down to a 6, but it was extremely comfortable and the lining is so soft.

I rented this dress for a charity cocktail party and it was perfect. None of the pictures can do the detailing justice. The fabric is amazing and has a nice weight to it so it lays beautifully. It was really comfortable (no Spanx needed here!) and flattering. I am wide around the rib cage, so it was a little snug zipping up, so I think if you have a larger chest, it might be tight here. You also need a strapless bra because of sheer panels at the shoulders. I got compliments all night long!

I thought this dress was great. I got a lot of compliments. It runs very true to size - no give if you are feeling a little squishy. ;-)

It fit very true to size. It fit perfectly around the waist, and the length was right. I am very small busted, though. It might have been tight if I were any larger in that area. I liked the way it felt on -- it was well-constructed, the material was heavy, and it held its shape very well. In looking at the photos, I think I should have worn a fun necklace with it.

Top is big unless you have a large chest, waist is comfortable, cap sleeves perfect length. Try to wear your hair up because back is really pretty design too. Skirt is excellent for dancing in - gives a terrific swirl effect when you spin. Stands out among a night with lots of other black dresses.

I loved this dress. The craftsmanship was exquisite and both the inner and outer layers of the material felt incredibly high end and expensive. As other reviewers have mentioned the lower part of the waist may be a little small on some so if you have hips I recommend sizing up in backup or the torso will seem too long and the shoulders will be pushed up. I didn't end up wearing this dress just because I thought a solid color would be better for the photographs at my event, so apologies for the terrible picture.

I'm lucky enough to get to wear many an RTR dress and this is one of my favorites I've ever worn. So sophisticated but sexy as well. This dress is better for a taller girl (I would say 5'6" and above). It was definitely a bit tighter around the chest/arms area - would have been better for a D cup or below - however, it was so gorgeous, I dealt with it! I'm definitely renting this again!

I lucked out getting a free rental from RTR and chose this gorgeous dress. The photos of this dress don't begin to do it justice. The ribbon detail is incredible and gives you a great shape. I was worried the size 10 wouldn't fit since Temperley London tends to run small but it fit SO well. I was able to dance all night & not worry about a thing. Everyone kept complimenting me on my dress, asking where I bought it, etc... It really made the night special. Now I just wish I could keep the dress or afford to actually buy it. I am officially obsessed!

This dress was so flattering to my figure, it showed off the good stuff and hid the bad! I wore a 6, which is my usual size, and it was a little snug, but not too snug to be unwearable, but I was surprised at this only because I have a very small bust. For this reason, I don't think it would be comfortable for ladies with bigger chests. I got tons of compliments at the wedding I wore it to, and I felt like I stood out even with a ton of other black dresses in the room.

Very pretty, comfortable, unique dress. The dress was slightly big, but it's fairly heavy so it still hung well. It's been a couple months since I wore this, so I don't recall for sure if it was big enough that I could have gone down a size (there wasn't a size 4, so this was a moot point for me). I LOVED the lining of this dress :)

The dress was heavier than I thought it would be but it was still perfect for a hot day, plenty of room in the sleeves and fabric that breathes well. I wore this dress for the baby shower that I threw for a friend and it was easy to move around in and so incredibly cute! Everyone commented on how much they loved the dress, it was one of the highlights of a pretty wonderful day!

This dress is really lovely. The fit was snug, but not uncomfortable, but the next size up would have been too big for me. I have broad shoulders, so the top was more restrictive. Overall, the shape of this dress and the way the ribbon detail is angled makes it very flattering. It really enhances your shape while hiding anything you want hidden. It's also a fun dress for dancing because it twirls!

Tried this on in the showroom, fell in love, and unfortunately it's no longer available in my size. Highly recommend it if it's available in your size. It's stunning, classy and sexy.

This dress is like a little work of art. The fabric and design on the bodice are exquisite and so original that it grabs the eyes of people. It was also unbelievably comfortable and made me feel effortlessly beautiful. Once I put on this dress my night was made.

This dress fits a little on the smaller side. I am 5'8 and it hit right at the knees. It is really comfortable and well constructed. I received compliments on it all evening. I think it would be flattering on anyone.

I had a discount code so I snapped this dress up, even though it's more than I would normally pay to rent. I got compliments all night long from people I didn't know, including a "best dressed at the wedding" comment from the bride's mom (after the bride, of course.) Fits true to size - I'm between an 8 and a 10, and only the 10 was available and it fit almost perfectly - a tiny bit big in the top, but I'm not very well endowed. I probably could have worn the 8 as well but it might have been a little snug in the waist. Great style for a pear shape. I wore with nude peep toes, red lips and minimal jewelry. The skirt is perfect for twirling and dancing all night. I had a hard time sending this one back - may have to rent again if I find another discount.

It fit perfectly. I would recommend this dress to anyone who has a bit of a pear or hourglass shape or has a small waist but not so small tush and thighs. I run between a 10 and a 12 but because of the shape a 10 was perfect.

Love this dress. Top fits snuggly so if you have a very large bust, you might need to size up.

I wore this dress for a spring wedding and couldn't wait to receive it. It was gorgeous and beautifully made. It was a little large for me, but I loved the dress so much I wore it anyways. The details make this dress, you'll never see anyone in anything close to this!

This dress or designer runs very small, I could not wear it. But it sure felt luxurious. Too bad. It fit everywhere but around the ribs and this dress has no give. In the past I had ordered another designer and it ran big. How can you tell, I just wish there was a standard in female clothing sizes.

I'm 5'8" and I normally wear a 4 but only the 2 was available, and it fit everywhere pretty nicely except that it was very long in the torso - so much so that the zipper created an HUGE hump in the back because there was too much fabric. Maybe if I had gotten a 4, I would have been able to pull it down further over my hips and that might have smoothed it out. This is not for anyone who is short in the torso! The dress was otherwise gorgeous, though - I wish it had fit.

I ordered two dresses, this one was too tight in the arms. I ended up wearing the other one I ordered.

Loved the fit tight in the bodice and space in the hips.
