I loved this dress. I loved that it had so much material in the skirt and the warm color. I had rented it for my trip to a garden on NYE. A lot of people had stopped me to compliment it or ask what special occasion it was since no one else was dressed up and it was very cold outside. I used fashion tape for my chest (I'm a B cup and maybe it would have fit even a D). I could wear a regular bra underneath with no problem. My sandals were less than 3 inches high but for the most part never showed. Cons: I couldn't do anything about the wrinkles. My friend noticed a rather larger piece of the hem that was sewn back on it which I didn't notice before when I tried it first so I had to be even more careful not to have the same faith as someone who had worn it before me. I own about 50 dresses but I've never torn any. It hurt to mail it back because I love dresses and this was a unique dress too. I would love to wear it again if the opportunity came.

I wore this to a very formal black tie wedding and it was perfect! I got many compliments on the color and the back detailing. RTR sent this when my original selection wasn't available, and I'm so glad. As some reviews said, the straps tended to fall down a bit, but otherwise it was very comfortable and flattering. I probably would have been better off in the 4, but the 6 was fine. I wore 4" heels and it was long - skims the ground and I had to gather it up and carry the ends to get up stairs. My kids thought I looked like a princess, and given that Temperley is a Kate Middleton favorite, I felt like one too! (My photos are from the end of the night - sorry!)

This gown is beautiful! The color is even more vibrant in person. I would recommend this dress for anyone that really has that special event they need to dress up for. I runs slightly small in the bust so I sized up to the size 4. Wouldn't recommend this dress for anyone bigger than a C/D cup unless you are very narrow in your bust measurement. Gorgeous though, really enjoyed wearing it!

This dress was my first pick, unfortunatley, it was too long for me (I'm wearing 5 inch heels in the picture and am 5'4"). The straps were also very long for me, and fell down if I didn't pull my shoulders back a lot. This is a common problem for me with dresses. It was impeccably made and stunningly beautiful!

I liked this dress but it was just too big so I didn't end up wearing it. It fits on the larger side through the middle and chest area but it is truly beautiful fabric and a beautiful color. It is very light weight which is great and would be wonderful for the summer, but it is just the fabric, no boning or anything structured. The skirt is also less full than I expected because there isn't any extra fabric to add fullness. It is also REALLY long even in the R. My friend ended up wearing the dress and it looked great on her so I added a picture of her in it. She normally wears an 8 and is wearing the 6R.

Fit true to size

I rented this dress as my backup, in case the other one I rented didn't fit. I loved the color! It is such a vibrant and stunning color, but I thought the dress ran small. I'm usually a size 6, but the dress would barely zip. Also, the dress was very long, but beautifully flowy. It is very forgiving and definitely would turn heads.

This dress is simply stunning!!! STUNNING I say!!! The length was perfect (I had a 3" heel I was planning on wearing with it) and the straps weren't an issue for me like I had read in some other reviews. My downfall with this dress was the waist. It was too small for me to get the zipper up. So sad about it. I'm definitely going to try to rent this one a size up next time, because it really is a stunner! (Also, I'd go with the earrings shown in the photo with the model. They look great with the dress in person too!)

This dress was wonderful! Very well constructed and fit exactly like the model image. The back was my favorite part :)

This might be THE most amazing dress I've ever worn. I love, love, love it. I've never NOT wanted to return a dress (like I've loved other dresses I've rented but just been like, that was fun to wear); this one I wanted to keep. The fabric was so soft and luxurious and the fit incredible. The color was phenomenal, so bright and lovely. The lightness of the skirt makes it flow so you feel like a princess. Only a few notes, it was pretty tight at the waist band, so its definitely best for that hourglass shape, I'd say. I also had to pin the straps a bit b/c they were too long for me. But I usually have to do that with anything with straps like this, so no surprise there, many people might not need to. If you're short, be careful. I'm 5'7" and I went with the long and with 3" heels it was still a bit on the ground so I stepped on it occasionally and a chair leg was put on it once or twice when I was sitting but I think that's how it was supposed to be. Much shorter and it wouldn't have worked for me. I am D and didn't have any issues with the bust. I think, without pinning the straps, the dress could accommodate even a little bit bigger bust, but not much more. I got TONS of compliments on this dress and seriously will go look to see if I can find one on SUPER SALE to own.

I rented this as a backup size for a black-tie event, and conservatively chose the larger of the 2 sizes I usually rent. To my surprise this dress fit extremely loose on my very full bust, which was either a design choice or a result of previous wear. Either way, my first choice (Catherine Deane Godiva Gown) fit like a dream so I didn't end up wearing this one, but next time I will rent in at least 1 size down. That being said, the color was luscious and the detailing was really beautiful :)

Would have give this 5 stars if not for several poor quality obvious alterations to the size 8 dress. The gown appears to have been altered to fix possibly a tear in the gown as there is a large triangle patch in the front of the gown's hem which creates an uneven hem in the front of the gown. I had to reinforce two of the buttons on the back of the dress as they were hanging on literally by a thread I received this dress quickly as a replacement for another dress, so I was thankful I loved the style and it fit. However, I would have called customer service had I paid full price to rent a dress with an uneven and patched hemline. Gorgeous dress, sorry to see it having received poor tailoring!

If you are my height, opt for the regular length, the long had a SERIOUS train that I had to be mindful of in 5 inch heels. It was a little loose on the top but fashion tape helped. I didn't have to wear a bra. The fit of the dress is great, gives a very elongated look. Loved it, minus my bridal gown like train haha. :)

This dress is stunning. I was so disappointed when it didn't fit. :( Bust runs small and someone with a DD will be hard pressed to get the zipper up past the waist. I will rent this one again in a size 6 for sure!

This was one of my back-up dresses for an inaugural ball. The fabric and color is absolutely beautiful. However, this dress is not for short women. I am 5'2 and can usually wear a "regular" length RTR dress with 4-inch heels. This dress was dragging on the floor even with 6-inch platform heels. Also, this dress is better suited for slim waistlines. I am a little thicker in the middle, so I did not think the fit was flattering on me. If you are tall and slim, this would be a stunner!
