The fit was perfect! Not too long or too tight, it fit just right!

I was swimming in the top of this dress, although I consider myself to have fairly broad shoulder and a larger ribcage. I am a 6 or an 8 (right now, def an 8), but the bodice was very loose on me and I could not keep the shoulder straps up. Perhaps bc I am not busty enough? Also, note that the slits in the front really do come high up, which I found a little awkward to walk or even sit in-- the sides sort of fall in the way of your chair legs. Head to toe shine is also a bit hard to pull-off. I didn't wear the dress, and cant' say it was a winner for me. I love the retro-Avar Gardner vibe, but it just didn't fit my body, and the proportions seemed a little off.

RTR sent this dress in place of another I ordered and was not available. The dress is very pretty. For very self conscious ladies: because this dress is silk it shows every bump, buldge, and dent even with proper undergarments. For this reason I did not wear it.

I'm 5'6" and the 6L was the perfect length. However, it was tight around the hips and too big in the bust (which is unusual for me as I am pretty busty). The size 8L fit better around the hips, but I had the same issue with the top being way too big with straps that were too long and falling off.
