Felt like a princess
Loved it felt like a princess. This dress is comfortable and simple but beautiful. Got a lot of compliments. The right jewelry you can go big which is fun I'm 5'8" should maybe ordered the R was a little long I wore 3" heels. But didn't mind to have to hold the dress up. Would have been an issue for dancing but I didn't do that

I loved the little details RTR added - like garment tape to ensure the strapless dress stayed put!
It was snug/fitted through the bust and natural waist, then flared out into a really pretty A-line. It's a great dress for people who have a smaller waist and can flatter bigger hips! It is a long dress - I'm 5'9" and I ordered the "long'... it really wasn't necessary! The regular length probably would have been just fine.. and I wear a 35" inseam! I ordered a 6L and an 8L as my 'just in case" and I went with the 8 because of the fit - being able to breathe is important right? Either way, it was a gorgeous dress and just moved beautifully when I walked! I wore it to a Marine Corps Ball and received many compliments - it made me feel like a princess.

That no one else had the same dress as me-- I felt so classy too!
Definitely don't plan your shoes until you check the length of the dress on you... I ended up having to wear flats!

I love rent the runway! They sent the dress in such cute packaging with free little gifts.
I absolutely recommend rent the runway. It was my first time renting and they made my prom unforgettable. The stylists are so nice. The dress is the most amazing fabric. It runs small and long and is perfect for tall people with skinny rib cages and small breasts. It was so beautiful!

A Red Carpet Kind of Dress!
I wore this dress to a black tie fundraiser and it was fabulous! I love the way this dress is pleated and has the effect of a train without the nuisance that I train creates. I felt like a princess all night long and received numerous complements! I am only sad that I didn't get my picture taken in this beautiful gown!

Princess Worthy! Watch sizes.
This is a beautiful, beautiful gown. Perfect to wear to a palace or The Palace (NYC), and very tasteful. It is quite formal – princess worthy, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a wedding because you might outshine the bride! Note well: These are European cuts, so the 2R, which is probably the equivalent of a UK 34, is more like a US 0. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to wear the gown to my event because I’m more of an American XS 2/4, which is probably more like the 6R in this gown.

Gorgeous, if over the top.
I didn't end up wearing this dress, but it is stunning. Given its sweeping romance, it would have better suited a gala/benefit attendee than a wedding guest. Also, as others have emphasized, it runs small. I have a slight figure and the 2 barely zipped around my rib cage. The 6 was a bit roomy and would have needed fashion tape at the waist and bust in order to stay up securely. The 4 likely would have been perfect, but alas was unavailable. Also note: I am 5'7" and the "long" was way too long; I would have been tripping over it all night. Sizing issues aside, the fabric is a really handsome, heavy blush silk and the tailoring is exquisite -- princessy, yes, but elegant and restrained.

great dress
Beautiful dress! runs EXTREMELY small though. i am 5'10" and normally wear a size 2 to 4 in dresses. However, the 6L was even tight on me. But the dress still looked beautiful. I would recommend, just make sure you order at least a size up. Also, it's small in the bust. I wear a 34B and it made me seem like at least a C.

Great Princess Dress
This was one of my options for a black tie wedding. I am 5'11" and have an hourglass shape. I will typically wear a size 6 for dresses that are A-Line and fit at the waist. However I'll typically wear a size 10 for pencil skirts that fit at the hips. The 8L fit perfectly. However, went with another dress as I felt it was too "bridesmaid-ish" for a wedding.

Truly a ball gown, which was perfect for my event.
The dress runs extremely small, which is how I ended up in the 8L. Also the long is very long! I am 5'6" and my heels did not end up being high enough to counter the length. Even with 4 inch heels on the dress was still sweeping the ground, but as shown in the model picture that is part of the style.

I wish I could tell you how the dress looked on, but it was WAY too small
I usually wear a 2 but have, on occasion, been able to pull off a size 0. I ordered a 2R and 2L, and I think I needed a 6. I was devastated because the actual dress is gorgeous and very well made.

I didn't wear the dress, as it was too small.
The dress was only offered in one size, 2R, which I normally wear. I was unable to zip it, so was unable to wear it and immediately returned it same day. If you order it, make sure you have a steamer. It was extremely wrinkled to the point it appeared dirty.
